Which "left wing criminals" have been charged with or found guilty of any criminal activities? On the other hand, Trump's buddies seem to be the center of attention and MAGA (Many Are Getting Arrested)!

Yep, arrested, tried, found guilty and sentenced for the heinous crime of talking to the Mueller investigators. They're called 'process crimes' and if these idiots had kept their mouths shut in the first place there would have been no 'crime'. And you're right, no 'left wing' criminals (of any consequence) have been charged as of yet, but then there doesn't seem to be much interest in investigating those crimes either, does there? Why is that?

Thank you, Thanks to everyone that had a positive comment. The more we talk, print and E-mail people our view of to days policies the better. For 30 years during my time in the Navy I never once said anything that went against policy. I will however [ as stated ] defend those things I believe in. At my age death does not scare me.

Death? That's a bit excessive, isn't it? Do you really think someone will try to kill you for your political opinions?

No, it doesn't. What you're trying to assert is both offensive and very wrong. Your President is not a fascist, nor did he lie to garner votes in the election. He has worked diligently to fulfill his campaign promises in the face of some of the worst resistance any President has ever come up against. And yes, it is 'resistance'. These people believe they are at war. What with is anybody's guess.

Stop being so hard on yourself. Many many times we do or say things that are helpful for others but we are never informed of the positives we caused. Not much, apparently. Anyway, here's a sampling of some of the effort I put into making the world a better place all those years ago:

Bingo! Not only would you be enjoying a much better standard of living for your retirement, but your heirs would benefit from your nest egg after you pop your clogs. As it stands now, you get whatever they decide to give you and your heirs get zilch on your death, because there's no account with your name on it and no money in that non-existent account.

Welcome to the world of socialism.

Alabuck, you lost all the right to any attention with the word "socialist." Hitler to them is now a Socialist.

The full name of Hitler's political party was 'The National Socialist German Workers' Party' (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP) called for short, Nazi. Hitler was a socialist, through and through. Get over it.

Every time I hear the statement “Walking It Back” seems to always apply to the “Jump To Conclusion” Democrats. Look at Spartacus Booker, Carmelhead Harris, and Alexandria Obfuscated Cortez ,the are the first to grab an unverified news story and run other it, pleading for the so-called victim, blaming the conservatives, the white and the president. Do these people have the credentials to serve as president. After they launch a nuclear missile on a whim, they turn to you and say, I should have waited til I got the facts. “Oh well!”

It begs the question. Are these “trigger-happy presidential candidates” really qualified to serve as our president? The American voters need to weigh these candidates very carefully.

I applaud your sentiment. Really. For years I have written, called, emailed, attended townhall meetings, agitated, you name it, and gotten absolutely nowhere for my efforts. About ten years ago I finally gave up, after looking in the mirror and seeing a fool who believed in the power of the individual and got laughed at in return. Now I'm sitting back in my armchair and watching as the scum tear my country and my countrymen down, waiting for the moment when enough people stand up and declare 'enough'. That's the moment things will finally come to a head and the air will be cleared once and for all. Unfortunately, that moment is still some ways off by my reckoning, so here I sit...

You see, payroll tax applies to all earned income (i.e., wages or salary you're paid) between $0.01 and $132,900 (as of 2019). This "cap" rises annually with the National Average Wage Index (NAWI). If, for example, the NAWI rises 3.5% year over year, then the earnings tax cap will increase 3.5% in the upcoming year. More than 9 out of 10 working Americans will earn less than $132,900 in 2019, which means they'll have the payroll tax applied to every single dollar they earn.

Meanwhile, a single-digit percentage of the working population will earn more than $132,900 in 2019. Although they'll owe their portion of the payroll tax up to $132,900, all earned income above and beyond this amount is exempt. For some folks, this might represent a small amount of their earned income. But if you earn $266,000 or more, a majority of your income will be exempted from the payroll tax.

Billionaire President Donald Trump is a perfect example of everything the working public dislikes about the current scope of Social Security's payroll tax. Aside from earning $400,000 as salary for being president, financial disclosures filed by Trump suggest that he earns in the neighborhood of $600 million annually, primarily from his employment assets. That works out to $1.64 million a day, close to $68,500 an hour or 1,141.55 a minute in estimated earnings. At this pace, it would take President Trump just 117 minutes -- less than two hours -- to hit the payroll tax earnings cap. In other words, Trump was probably done paying into the system before 2 a.m. on New Year's Day.

If that were not enough, keep in mind that only earned income is subject to the payroll tax. This means investment income, rental income, and multiple other sources of income, most often taken advantage of by the well-to-do, are exempt.

According to an analysis from the Social Security Administration, between 1984 and 2016, the amount of earnings exempted from the payroll tax has quadrupled from about $300 billion to $1.2 trillion. At a tax rate of 12.4%, that $1.2 trillion represents close to $150 billion in lost revenue for the program.

http://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/donald-trump-done-paying-social-110600027.html

The easy fix for Social Security would be to tax ALL incomes and keep the cap. But the greedy, crooked, in the pocket of the wealthy are not likely to do that.
You see, payroll tax applies to all earned income ... (show quote)

Nice idea. Would you also increase the payout these people receive in proportion to the increased funds they pay in? If not, then why are you advocating for stealing more of their earnings to give to someone else?

You can harp on about 'lost revenue' until the cows come home but understand this, those who pay the most usually receive the least. They are paying into a system that was designed to take their money and give it away to others who did not earn it and have no right to claim it. And they're paying into it, for reasons that I for one will never fathom.

Envy is a terrible thing, it eats away at your self-esteem and puts thoughts into your head that wouldn't be there if not for the evil that is envy. Instead of cursing those who are doing well in this world, wish them well, and hope they continue their goodwill towards the rest of humanity, because if they decide to withdraw their largesse, you will not appreciate the hardship that results.

Which gives you a pretty good indication where all the 'hiding' is going on. Judicial Watch files a FISA request, the government drags its feet, knowing full well that this information is covered under FISA, so JW sues in open court and the records are finally released. It's just their way of increasing the 'cost of doing business' for JW. Scream 'right wing' all you want to, but there wouldn't be half the attention if they'd just hand it over in the first place.

Custer? Ha! Even Custer's horse knew something was up. No, my friend, George Custer was not a 'wise warrior', he wasn't even capable of keeping his own troops alive long enough to make it home again. He is lionized in the history books, but the fact is that he split his forces in hostile country and practically begged the combined Oglala, Lakota and Dakota Sioux to attack him. They did. He died. Along with his men. A fitting end for a fool. Sun Tzu would have been horrified at Custer's 'wisdom'.

Why? Because you disagree with him? Did it ever occur to you that he just might be telling it like it is? Just because it just might be a "blatant constitutional overreach" doesn't mean it can't be done. I used to have a lot of respect for his opinions too, and still do. It takes a certain kind of person to tell the truth even when it is sure to bring down the wrath of the majority on your head. Now I have yet another reason to respect him.
