Woke Cowardice: Wrong University Presidents at the Wrong Time
by Alan M. Dershowitz
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Dec. 13, 2023

As Ecclesiastes observed "to everything there is a season". This seems to be the season for woke cowardice

[These administrators] are also insensitive to civil liberties and the rights of those with whom they disagree.

It creates divisiveness on campuses that makes Jewish students and faculty fearful for their safety when their university president seems unwilling to apply the same standard to those who advocate genocide against Jews as they surely would against anyone who advocated genocide against Blacks or the raping of women or the shooting of gay and transgender people.

What these universities need now are principled advocates of a single standard, rather than leaders who base their decisions on outside pressures and the need to pander to extremist students, faculty and administrators.

One thing is clear: [university presidents] should be selected on the basis of relevant, individual meritocratic criteria— not the cookie cutter criteria of the "diversity, equity and inclusion" bureaucracies.

The forced resignation of the president of the University of Pennsylvania is a good first step in dealing with a far more pervasive problem in higher education.

The three university presidents who disgraced themselves and their universities by their abysmal testimony before the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce represent a far larger concern.

In recent years, many universities have selected as their presidents woke, progressive cowards who pander to the most extreme and most vocal left-wing students and professors. They are the wrong people, at the wrong time, to be leading American educational institutions.

When I first came to Harvard in 1964, university presidents all came from the same cookie-cutter. They were white Anglo-Saxon males, who represented the wealthy conservative donors and board members. There were no Jewish university presidents and the then president of Harvard – Nathan Marsh Pusey – made it clear that no Jew need apply for the presidency or deanships.

Within a decade, following the civil rights movement, matters changed considerably. Several years ago, many of the most elite universities had Jewish presidents and Jewish deans.

Now matters have changed again and many of the new presidents represent the current political correctness reflected by the "diversity, equity and inclusion" (DEI) bureaucracies. Many also represent, or are sympathetic to, woke progressive movements that today dominate many campuses.

As Ecclesiastes observed, "to everything there is a season". This seems to be the season for woke cowardice. Many of the current university presidents also seem to come from a cookie-cutter. They are different from previous university presidents but seem quite similar to each other in their pandering to the DEI and progressive woke constituencies on campus.

The recent spate of rabid anti-Semitism on so many campuses has posed enormous challenges to this new breed of university presidents. For the most part they have failed miserably to meet these challenges, as reflected by the big three who testified so ineptly.

A friend of mine, who was the president of a major university during the "Jewish period," told me that the one characteristic which is not a qualification for being a current university president is "courage." To that, should be added a commitment to principle.

Also at fault for the selection of current university presidents are the boards of directors who select them in an effort to pander to current student and faculty demands for DEI. They have ignored the majority of students and faculty, as well as the majority of alumni and donors. This overlooked and large constituency wants to see academic excellence and political neutrality on behalf of university presidents, deans and administrators. Most would prefer what has come to be called "the Chicago principles," which require that the university itself stay out of politics.

Only a handful of universities have accepted these principles even in theory. Most universities pick and choose among the political views they publicly espouse. For example, virtually every university condemned the killing of George Floyd by a policeman -- but many refused to condemn Hamas' October 7 murder of more than 1,200 Israelis (and many Americans) and the kidnapping of more than 240 other Israelis. It is this double standard that has opened these administrators to criticism that they are more sensitive to Black lives than to Jewish lives. They are also insensitive to civil liberties and the rights of those with whom they disagree.

Just as many of these new university presidents were selected for symbolism, so too should they be dismissed for symbolism. What they symbolized during the Congressional testimony does a disservice to their students, their faculty and their alumni. It teaches the wrong lessons to current and future students.

It is not enough that these presidents are constantly forced to apologize for their cowardice because of pressure from the outside. What these universities need now are principled advocates of a single standard, rather than leaders who base their decisions on outside pressures and the need to pander to extremist students, faculty and administrators.

These are the wrong leaders for today's educational challenges. Those who selected them were employing the wrong criteria. It will not be easy to find the correct replacements who can strike the proper balance between responding to the pervasive anti-Semitism and "cancel culture" on current campuses. One thing is clear: they should be selected on the basis of relevant, individual meritocratic criteria -- not the cookie-cutter criteria of the DEI bureaucracies.

What Is Really Behind Bin Laden's 'Letter to the American People'?
by Raymond Ibrahim
December 8, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd

"Battle, animosity, and hatred — directed from the Muslim to the infidel — is the foundation of our religion. And we consider this a justice and kindness to them." — Osama bin Laden, "Al-Qaeda's Declaration in Response to the Saudi Ulema."

"There are only three choices in Islam: either willing submission; or payment of the jizya, thereby physical, though not spiritual, submission to the authority of Islam; or the sword—for it is not right to let him [an infidel] live." — Osama bin Laden, "Al-Qaeda's Declaration in Response to the Saudi Ulema."

In his "Letter to the American People," however, bin Laden portrays Islam as "the religion of showing kindness to others, establishing justice between them, granting them their rights, and defending the oppressed and the persecuted."

When clarifying to the Saudis what Islam really has in store for infidels, bin Laden quoted many of the most militant verses, such as Koran 9:29: "Fight those among the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] who do not believe in Allah, nor the Last Day, nor forbid what Allah and his Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth, until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued."

As the war between Israel and Palestinians rages on, an old "Letter to the American People" from the terrorist Osama bin Laden, who masterminded the murder of nearly 3,000 people in the United States on September 11, 2001, after his first attempt to blow up the World Trade Center in 1993 failed, recently went viral on TikTok, where it is apparently "opening eyes" based on the sorts of reactions it has been receiving, such as:

"It's wild and everyone should read it. If you haven't read it yet, read it."
"I will never look at life the same again; I will never look at this country the same."
"I guarantee you it's going to blow your mind."
"[The letter] is actually so mind-fuc*ing to me, that terrorism has been sold as this [false] idea to the American people."
What great revelations did the Al Qaeda chief make in his letter from 2002? While justifying the 9/11 attacks, he accused America of any number of crimes — chief among them support for Israel supposedly at the expense of Palestinians.

The problem with bin Laden's litany list against America — and, in other letters, the West in its entirety — was that none of his accusations was the ultimate reason that he and Al Qaeda hated the U.S. and Europe.

Background: Osama bin Laden, from one of Saudi Arabia's most prominent families, denounced his country's royal family as insufficiently pious, formed the terrorist group Al Qaeda, and was eventually expelled from the Arabian Peninsula. He went to Sudan, then to Pakistan, where, after two attempts to destroy the World Trade Center – the second attempt brought it down – he was killed by U.S. Navy SEALs in his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2011.

Soon after the strikes of 9/11, sometime in February 2002, sixty Americans drafted a letter titled "What We're Fighting For: A Letter from America," in which they declared America's resolve to combat Islamic terrorism.

In response, 153 prominent Saudi scholars drafted their own letter, "A Letter to American Scholars and Intellectuals: How We Can Coexist," published in May 2002, in Riyadh. Their reply, signed by many important figures of the Saudi establishment, infuriated al-Qaeda, and prompted bin Laden to write "Al-Qaeda's Declaration in Response to the Saudi Ulema: It's Best You Prostrate Yourselves in Secret."

The whole point of bin Laden's declaration (translated and annotated in this author's The Al Qaeda Reader, pp.17-62) was to chastise the Saudis for what he deemed was a theologically invalid and cowardly response to the West, one typified by "prostrations." To correct the Saudis, he repeatedly emphasized what he considered Islam's "true" position concerning non-Muslims (see below).

Because bin Laden's essay was written to the Saudis -- that is, for Islamic eyes only -- it is refreshingly honest and straightforward, and not that different from the writings of ISIS.

For instance, the Saudis had written to the Americans that "The heart of the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims is justice, kindness, and charity." Bin Laden, outraged, reprimanded the Saudis:

"As to the relationship between Muslims and infidels... 'Enmity and hate shall forever reign between us — till you believe in Allah alone' [Koran 60:4]." So there is an enmity, evidenced by fierce hostility from the heart. And this fierce hostility — that is, battle — ceases only if the infidel submits to the authority of Islam, or if his blood is forbidden from being shed, or if Muslims are at that point in time weak and incapable [of waging jihad]. But if the hate at any time extinguishes from the heart, this is great apostasy! Allah Almighty's Word to his Prophet recounts in summation the true relationship: 'O Prophet! Wage war against the infidels and hypocrites and be ruthless. Their abode is hell — an evil fate! [9:73].' Such, then, is the basis and foundation of the relationship between the infidel and the Muslim. Battle, animosity, and hatred — directed from the Muslim to the infidel — is the foundation of our religion. And we consider this a justice and kindness to them. The West perceives fighting, enmity, and hatred all for the sake of the religion [Islam] as unjust, hostile, and evil. But whose understanding is right — our notions of justice and righteousness, or theirs?

Not content with chastising the Saudis, bin Laden then took it upon himself — and here is where it gets interesting — to personally respond to the American letter ("What We're Fighting For") by penning a missive titled, "Why We Are Fighting You." It is this letter that the Guardian published in late 2002, under the title, "Full text: bin Laden's 'letter to America,'" and it is this letter that recently went viral. (The Guardian recently removed the text.)

Oddly, bin Laden said nothing about those many Islamic doctrines that require Muslims to hate and wage war against non-Muslims, which he had condemned the Saudis for failing to acknowledge in their "How We Can Coexist" letter.

When speaking to the Saudis, bin Laden had written:

"There are only three choices in Islam: either willing submission; or payment of the jizya, thereby physical, though not spiritual, submission to the authority of Islam; or the sword—for it is not right to let him [an infidel] live. The matter is summed up for every person alive: either submit, or live under the suzerainty of Islam, or die. Thus it behooves the [Saudi] signatories to clarify this matter to the West— otherwise they will be like those who believe in part of the Book [Koran] while rejecting the rest."

In his "Letter to the American People," however, bin Laden portrays Islam as "the religion of showing kindness to others, establishing justice between them, granting them their rights, and defending the oppressed and the persecuted." Curiously, he neglects to mention the three options mentioned above – conversion, subjugation or slaughter – that he chided the Saudis for failing to "clarify" to the infidels. Instead, he merely invites Americans to embrace Islam.

Just like the Saudi response to the Americans, bin Laden's "Letter to the American People" ultimately relies on political, humanitarian and even emotional arguments as to why Al Qaeda had declared war on the United States (for instance, self-defense, U.S. support for Israel at the expense of Palestinians, U.S. support for oppressive, dictatorial regimes, unjust wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, etc.).

Even the letter's opening Koranic verse puts everything in a defensive context: "Permission to fight is given to those who are attacked, for they have been wronged and surely Allah is able to give them victory" [22:39]. Yet when clarifying to the Saudis what Islam really has in store for infidels, bin Laden quotes many of the most militant verses, including Koran 9:29:

"Fight those among the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] who do not believe in Allah, nor the Last Day, nor forbid what Allah and his Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth, until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued."

Islam's classic threefold choice, then — conversion, subjugation, or slaughter — is the ultimate source of problems, even for other terrorist groups, such as Hamas. As the Encyclopedia of Islam's entry for "jihad" by Emile Tyan puts it:

"[The] spread of Islam by arms is a religious duty upon Muslims in general ... Jihad must continue to be done until the whole world is under the rule of Islam ...."

Unfortunately, we, the "infidels" — Americans, Israelis, Christians, Jews, Hindus and all non-Muslims — are to people of this mindset de facto enemies. It is in this context that the question of U.S. support for Israel should be examined. Being hated and deemed an enemy for political differences is peripheral to being hated for simply existing, as, sadly, Islam views Jews -- not Israelis, Jews.

Nevertheless, instead of understanding and responding to this complex reality, today, young Americans are eating up the old and discredited words of Osama bin Laden, who masterminded the murder of 3,000 Americans — all thanks to TikTok and its Chinese Communist Party owners, who are outspokenly committed to displacing the US as the world's leading superpower. The Chinese Communist Party and their allies in Iran appear committed to that goal; what is the US doing about it?

The Resurgence of Israel’s Military in Bible Prophecy (Part 2 of 2)
By David Reagan
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Nov. 30, 2023

In the first part of this fascinating look into the resurgence of Israel’s military in Bible prophecy, we looked at how God miraculously defended Israel during Israel’s War of Independence. Now we will explore God’s tremendous victories during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War.

The Six Day War (June 1967)

Following years of tit-for-tat skirmishes, in the early 1960s Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser sought to align the Arab world under his leadership. His declared goal was to eradicate the Jewish state of Israel.

In 1965 Nasser asserted, “We shall not enter Palestine with its soil covered in sand; we shall enter it with its soil saturated in blood.” A few months later, Nasser declared that he had two aims. “The immediate aim: perfection of Arab military might. The national aim: the eradication of Israel.”

In May 1967, Nasser massed Egyptian troops on Israel’s southern border. He then ordered UN troops positioned in the buffer zone between Israel and Egypt to leave. When the UN readily complied, Nasser announced:

“As of today, there no longer exists an international emergency force to protect Israel. We shall exercise patience no more. We shall not complain any more to the UN about Israel. The sole method we shall apply against Israel is total war, which will result in the extermination of Zionist existence.”

The Syrian Defense Minister, Hafez Assad, affirmed Syria’s enthusiasm “to enter into a battle of annihilation.”

On May 22, Egypt blockaded the Straits of Tiran to all Israel shipping — an overt act of war under international law. King Hussein of Jordan then signed a defense pact with Egypt on May 30, and President Abdur Rahman Aref of Iraq joined the bellicose rhetoric by declaring, “Our goal is clear — to wipe Israel off the map.”

A combined Arab army of 465,000 troops, 2,800 tanks, and 800 aircraft was poised to annihilate Israel.

Israeli Givati Brigade

The Israeli leaders decided it would be suicidal to wait for the attack, and so, on June 6th, the entire Israeli Air Force (except a mere 12 planes assigned to defend Israel’s air space) launched a devastating attack on the Egyptian air force. By the end of the morning, they had virtually destroyed the Egyptian, Jordanian, and Syrian air forces. Unchallenged air superiority led to another miraculous Israeli victory after just six days of fighting.

Even as the Arab armies were being decimated, Jordan’s King Hussein felt compelled to join the fighting. In response, Israel drove the Jordanian army across the Jordan River and recaptured the Old City of Jerusalem and the sacred Temple Mount.

Israeli paratroopers rushed to the Western Wall — where no Jew had been allowed access for 18 years. Rabbi Shlomo Goren, the chief rabbi of the IDF (and later the chief rabbi of Israel) rushed to the wall, blew the shofar, and announced: “We have taken the City of God. We are entering the Messianic era for the Jewish people.” He understood from prophecies in the Hebrew scriptures that when the Jews are back in the land and back in their capital city, the Messiah will come.

The Yom Kippur War (October 1973)

Excessive Israeli confidence in their invincibility led to a dire situation just six years later. On October 6 (Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism), Egypt and Syria launched an all-out surprise attack against Israel.

Crossing the Suez Canal, the Egyptians quickly overran the Israeli outposts and drove deep into the Sinai. Simultaneously, Syria attacked the Golan Heights. Anwar Sadat, the President of Egypt, had fulfilled his promise to avenge the Arab humiliation suffered in 1967.

Just a few hours before the attack began, IDF Chief of Staff David Elazar recommended a preemptive air strike and immediate mobilization of the reserves. But Prime Minister Golda Meir overruled a first strike. She had been warned by Henry Kissinger that the United States would not support Israel if it struck first again.

Once again, as in all its previous wars, Israel faced overwhelming odds. On the Golan Heights, 180 Israeli tanks faced an onslaught of 1,400 Syrian tanks. Along the Suez Canal, fewer than 500 Israeli defenders with only 3 tanks were attacked by 600,000 Egyptian soldiers, backed by 2,000 tanks and 550 aircraft. Nine non-combatant Arab states provided aid and financial support to the Egyptian-Syrian war effort, while the Soviet Union provided military equipment and intelligence.

At great cost, Israel prevailed once again. Buoyed by massive military aid from America and brilliant military commanders, Israel turned back the initial Arab advances and recaptured the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. For example, under General Ariel Sharon, Israel won the greatest tank battle in history.

General Ariel Sharon

By October 15, the Egyptian tank force had been destroyed, and Sharon had crossed the Suez Canal. He quickly surrounded the Egyptian Third Army, immobilized it, and started marching toward Cairo.

Meanwhile, in the north, the Israeli forces had cleared the Golan Heights, recaptured Mount Hermon, and began driving toward Damascus.
By October 15th, Israeli forces were 25 miles from Damascus and 63 miles from Cairo when the Soviets demanded the UN to call for a cease-fire. Once again, Israel had prevailed when there seemed to be no hope.

Other Major Conflicts
Since 1967, Israel has contended with Palestinian and Islamic terrorism. Palestinian terrorists demonstrated their hatred at the 1972 Olympics in Berlin when 11 Israelis were brutally murdered. Palestinian hijacking, kidnapping, and bombing have continued to this day.

In 1976, while America was preparing to celebrate its Bicentennial, four terrorists hijacked an Air France flight from Tel Aviv to Paris and diverted it to Benghazi, Libya, and then Entebbe, Uganda. Israel attempted to free 106 hostages and crew through negotiation, but eventually was forced to resort to a daring rescue mission. Under the command of Lt. Col. Jonathan (Yoni) Netanyahu (brother of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu), a commando force flew to Uganda on a C-130 Hercules aircraft. They landed at Entebbe airport, surprised the Ugandan guards, and quickly established control. During the raid, all seven hijackers were killed. Sadly, four hostages were killed — three from crossfire and one at the order of an enraged Idi Amin (an elderly woman had been taken to a local hospital prior to the raid).

Five Israeli commandos were wounded, and tragically Yoni Netanyahu was killed. But Israel had demonstrated its resolve and military prowess once again.

Yoni Netanyahu

That resolve has been tested repeatedly. Intifadas (“uprising” in Arabic) incited by Yassar Arafat have been followed by attacks from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Large and small skirmishes have pitted Israel against a nebulous and unscrupulous foe. But time and time again, although bloodied and grief-stricken, Israel has prevailed.

Conclusion
These and other Israeli conflicts of the past 75 years prove, beyond a doubt, that God has His hand on Israel, protecting the Jewish people from assault after assault, and enabling them to achieve miraculous victories — all in fulfillment of Bible prophecies about Israel in the end times.

Nor can there be any doubt that God’s supernatural protection will continue.

Right now, Israel is embroiled in yet another fight for its existence against radicalized Palestinian terrorists in Gaza. It could well prove to be the worst of all the wars Israel has experienced, especially if it blossoms into a regional conflagration. But Scripture tells us that Israel will overcome all these challenges to its existence — because God promised that once He replanted them on their land, “they will not again be uprooted from their land” (Amos 9:15).

If this war turns out to be a fulfillment of the prophesied war of Psalm 83, then Israel will once again be overwhelmingly victorious, defeating all the Arab nations with whom it shares a common border. This will pave the way for the subsequent war of Gog and Magog, described in Ezekiel 38 and 39, when Russia, accompanied by certain Muslim nations, will come down against Israel and suffer supernatural destruction at the hands of the Lord.

Israel has some very difficult days ahead, but God has made some wonderful promises to them that they can rely on. In Psalm 121:4 He says, “Behold, He who keeps Israel will not slumber and will not sleep.” In Isaiah He promised Israel, “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed” (54:17).

America needs to pay attention to these promises of God. Only by standing with and blessing Israel can we hope to be blessed.

In the end, we know that all the nations of the world will come against Israel. But God will preserve them — so that a great remnant can come to salvation. Let’s pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and the eternal salvation of the Jewish people!

The Resurgence of Israel’s Military in Bible Prophecy (Part 1 of 2)
By David Reagan –
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Nov. 30, 2023

Israel is the major focus of End Time Bible prophecy. That’s the reason that the re-establishment of the nation in the 20th Century was so important. That event signaled the fact that we are now living in the end of the end times.

Prophecies Concerning Israel
During the 20th Century, we were privileged to witness God beginning to fulfill in whole or in part seven prophecies regarding the Jewish people:

1) The regathering of the Jews from the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:10-12). Theodor Herzl’s book, The Jewish State, published in 1896, helped motivate Jewish migration back to Israel. There were 40,000 Jews in Palestine in 1900. Today, there are over 7 million in the land of Israel.

2) The re-establishment of the state of Israel (Ezekiel 37:21-22). This prophecy was fulfilled on May 14, 1948, when the Israeli declaration of independence was proclaimed in Tel Aviv.

3) The reclamation of the land (Ezekiel 36:34-35). When the Jews started returning to the land just over 100 years ago, it was a malaria-infested swampland that had been denuded of all its forests. Today, it produces food in abundance and the forests have been replanted.

4) The revival of the Hebrew language (Zephaniah 3:9 and Jeremiah 31:23). When the Jews were scattered worldwide, they stopped speaking Hebrew. But in the 1800s, God raised up a Lithuanian Jew named Eliezer Ben-Yehuda to resurrect the language from the dead. Hebrew now predominates as one of the three official languages of Israel.

5) The re-occupation of the city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 8:4-8). When the Israeli War of Independence ended in 1949, the Old City of Jerusalem was under Jordanian occupation. The Israelis reclaimed the city during the Six-Day War on June 7, 1967.

6) The resurgence of the Israeli military (Zechariah 12:6). Even though Israel is one of the smallest nations, its military is considered one of the top ten in the world.

7) The re-focusing of world politics on the nation of Israel and its city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:2-3). Today world attention is focused on Israel and Jerusalem — as has been abundantly evident in late 2023.

Military Power in Prophecy
From its humble beginnings in 1948, the Israeli military has become a highly professional and capable force.

The prophet Ezekiel referred to the revival of Israel in the last days as producing “an exceedingly great military force” (Ezekiel 37:10). Zechariah was more specific, prophesying that God would make “the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves” and enable them to “consume on the right hand and on the left” all their enemies (Zechariah 12:6, NASB). He proceeded to state that in the end times, the nation will be so strong that the “one who stumbles among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of Yahweh before them” (Zechariah 12:8).

Let’s look now at the major conflicts of the past that offer evidence of the fulfillment of these prophecies.

The War of Independence (November 1947 – March 1949)

On November 29, 1947, the United Nations adopted a resolution providing for the ending of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, replacing British rule with a partition of the land that would result in the creation of two states, one Jewish and the other Arab.

Jews worldwide were elated, even though the territory they were offered was merely a portion of what they had been promised in the British Balfour Declaration of 1917. But the Arabs were outraged because they wanted all the land of Palestine. They immediately launched a civil war that continued right up to the day that the Jews issued their declaration of independence on May 14, 1948.

The surrounding Arab nations repeatedly warned that they would attack in mass if the Jews declared independence. For example, the Secretary General of the Arab League, Azzam Pasha, declared, “It will be a war of annihilation. It will be a momentous massacre in history that will be talked about like the massacres of the Mongols or the Crusades.”

On the Jewish side, there was considerable concern that such boasting could become a reality. Thus, on the eve of the war, Yigael Yadin, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli forces, told David Ben-Gurion, the Jewish leader, “The best we can tell you is that we have a 50-50 chance.”

The fears materialized within hours of the declaration of independence when five Arab armies (Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq) attacked the new nation. At the time, Israel had only 30,000 rag-tag fighters who were ill-trained and poorly equipped.

The Arab armies, particularly the Jordanians, were well-trained and equipped with aircraft, tanks, and modern artillery. Transjordan’s army was even led by British officers under the command of General John Glubb.

President Harry Truman officially recognized the new state of Israel immediately, but his Administration refused to provide any aid under the naive assumption that it would help avert bloodshed. Britain openly supplied arms to the Arabs, while Israel had to smuggle surplus weapons from Eastern Europe.

But despite the overwhelming odds against them, the infant Jewish state prevailed, albeit at enormous cost. 6,377 Israelis were killed — nearly one percent of the population (equivalent to an American loss today of 3.4 million!). In the end, Israelis controlled not only the territory allotted to them by the UN but also 60% of the area that had been proposed for an Arab state. The only key area that the Israelis were unable to conquer was the Old City of Jerusalem.

Overall, the war represented a miraculous victory for Israel.

In the second and final part of this fascinating look into the resurgence of Israel’s military in Bible prophecy, we will explore God’s miraculous victories during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War.

Jihad On Churches in France
by Raymond Ibrahim
November 22, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd

A map, published by Christianophobie.fr, which marks with a red pin every spot where a church in France was attacked between just 2017-2018, looks like a war zone. Virtually the entire map of France is covered in red. Even Snopes, which presents itself as the final arbiter on what is real or fake news, admitted the accuracy of the map, while trying to minimize its findings...

One wonders if [Snopes] would be so casual if a Christian vandalized a mosque, or broke into a mosque while screaming Christian slogans?

In July 2023, Muslims torched the 12th century Saint-Georges De La Haye church in Descartes, France. (Image source: Joël Thibault/Wikimedia Commons)
Christian churches are under attack throughout Western Europe, with very recent examples from Austria, Germany, Italy and Sweden.

No Western nation, however, seems to experience as many attacks on its churches as France, once known as the "Eldest Daughter of the Church."

Investigative journalist Amy Mek tweeted on July 1, 2023:

"Attacks on Churches are the norm in France; two Churches a day are vandalized — they are being burned, demolished, and abandoned, and their adherents are being sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. Priests are under constant threat. At what point will France's open border politicians be held responsible?"

That last question inadvertently identifies the culprits — namely, migrants from the Muslim world, where attacks on churches are not abnormal.

In July 2023, for instance, Muslims attacked and desecrated several churches in France, by breaking the doors and windows of one church and spray-painting anti-Jesus and pro-Muhammad graffiti on its walls. The men also torched at least two historic churches — a 16th century church in Drosnay, and the 12th century Saint-Georges De La Haye-Descartes church — after general riots prompted by the June 27 police shooting of Nahel Merzouk, a Muslim criminal.

Not only did French authorities pretend that these two heritage churches simply "caught fire" — "probably due to a storm" — but they insisted that it was the police killing that prompted otherwise peaceful Muslims to riot at all.

If this was the case, what does one make of the fact that Muslims have been attacking churches in France for decades? Below is a recent sampling of attacks that occurred before the June 27 shooting of Merzouk:

June 26: Saint-Lazare church, which stands near another church that was heavily vandalized by Muslims on July 5, was desecrated and robbed.

June 20: A "gang of college students" stormed into the Saint Roch Church in Nice, mockingly doused themselves with holy water, and began shouting "Allahu akbar," which, the report notes, is "regularly heard during Islamist attacks." The first deputy mayor of Nice, Anthony Borré, responded in a letter to his apparently indifferent higher ups, urging them to take such matters seriously:

"Since October 29, 2020 and the Islamist attack on the Notre-Dame Basilica in our city [when another "Allahu akbar" yelling Muslim slaughtered two French women—one by beheading—and a man inside a church], you are not unaware of how traumatic it can be for our fellow citizens to hear such remarks within a church and the painful memories that they can revive. Faced with these attempts to destabilize society and with the attacks on our secular Republic, we must provide a strong and collective response."

June 23: Three Muslims, aged between 12 and 13, barged into Saint Joseph Church in Nice, during an afternoon mass, and also began shouting "Allahu akbar." Nice, it bears remembering, is also where another Muslim murdered 84 people in 2016.

June 12: After breaking into church property, a gang of Muslims — described only as a "group of young people" — savagely beat Fr. Joseph Eid of Notre-Dame-du-Liban parish and called him a "dirty Christian." While fleeing intervening passersby, they spewed other "anti-Christian insults."

Muslims also thrashed the 80-year-old Catholic priest of Saint Vincent de Paul in Saint-Étienne. After knocking Fr. Francis Palle to the ground, they continued beating and kicking the octogenarian, until he fell unconscious (last reported he was in critical condition). Although this attack occurred on June 30, three days after the police killing of Nahel Merzouk, the diocese said that it had nothing to do with the riots, but was, rather, standard fare.

June 3, The Church of Mailhac was heavily vandalized.

May 28: Several "unidentified" people broke into and vandalized the Saint-Laurent church in Cugnaux, which has a large Muslim presence: they defaced a crucifix, overturned candles onto the ground, and damaged icons — before setting the church aflame. A passerby, however, quickly intervened, including by calling the fire department which arrived swiftly and put out the flames. In response, Albert Sanchez, the mayor of Cugnaux, called for more "dialogue and understanding between the different religious and cultural communities of our city," since "diversity is our strength and our pride."

May 4: "Long live Islam," as well as Arabic writing, were found spray-painted on the walls of a church in Lieusaint in Seine-et-Marne. The report adds that "This is not the first time this church has been vandalized... Several statues had been damaged and knocked over."

March 16: A man, previously "on file for his Islamist radicalization," stormed the Saint-Hippolyte Church in Paris and disrupted its service. He also stole the church's six-foot-tall Plexiglas cross, which had supported a 400-year-old wooden Christ. It was later found nearby "smashed into many pieces," said police.

March 8: A Muslim migrant entered into the Saint-Louis church cemetery in Évreux and proceeded to break off and desecrate the crucifixes affixed to some 30 graves.

March 2: A man described as of an "African type," vandalized Saint-Eustache, one of the largest churches in Paris, in part by smashing the protective glass of an altar with a fire extinguisher. The report notes that "The suspect's modus operandi ... [is] comparable to that of the Saint-François-Xavier church [vandalism], where damage had been committed on Tuesday, February 28."

While discussing these Paris church attacks, a March 17 report noted that a total of eight Parisian churches were vandalized or set on fire during the ten weeks between January and mid-March of 2023.

The above, as mentioned, are just a few examples: most attacks on churches in France are not even reported by local media. Investigative journalist Sonja Dahlmans offers more details:

"Crucifixes, organs, altars and other religious symbols are regularly destroyed or stolen [from the churches of France]. Statues of saints also suffer. In the church of Angers, seven statues of saints were beheaded or amputated in April this year. A statue of Mary was beheaded in the St. Martin's Church in Choicy-le-Roi. Stained glass windows of old churches are also regularly smashed by vandals, such as in Guerlesquin. Extreme violence was used last October in the Saint-Joseph Chapel in Saint-Pol-de-Léon. There, vandals smashed the church doors with an ax and smashed all the church windows. All crucifixes and other religious symbols were destroyed by the perpetrators.

"Church cemeteries and graves cannot escape vandals. In Velsy, this involved damaging and robbing 150 graves in June 2022. The crosses on the graves and other religious symbols were taken or destroyed by the perpetrators. Eighteen graves of the church in Rocquemont were destroyed in May of the same year. A statue of Mary at the Guignicourt-sur-Vence cemetery was stolen in August 2022."

It would seem that a full blown jihad has been declared on the churches of France, and the country's leadership is looking the other way.

A map, published by Christianophobie.fr, which marks with a red pin every spot where a church in France was attacked between just 2017-2018, looks like a war zone. Virtually the entire map of France is covered in red. Even Snopes, which presents itself as the final arbiter on what is real or fake news, admitted the accuracy of the map, while trying to minimize its findings:

"While this image [the map] is often shared as if it shows all of the churches that were 'destroyed' in France, this map actually documents a wide range of nefarious activity, such as vandalism, theft, and arson, that occurred at both churches and cemeteries over an apparent span of two years (not four), covering 2017 and 2018.

"It should also be noted that while this map does document some relatively serious crimes, such as arson or the toppling of church statues, many of these pins correspond to graffiti-related incidents. We also found one pin related to a person's simply interrupting a church service."

In other words, according to Snopes, having jihadist, anti-Christian graffiti spray-painted on a church, or having a church service interrupted by a Muslim intruder screaming "Allahu akbar," is not sufficiently "serious."

One wonders if they would be so casual if a Christian vandalized a mosque, or broke into a mosque while screaming Christian slogans?

It should, incidentally, be unsurprising that the official mainstream response to the jihad on French churches is one of feigned ignorance, as captured by one somewhat surreal Newsweek title: "Catholic Churches Are Being Desecrated Across France—and Officials Don't Know Why."

While this report does a decent job of summarizing the "spate of attacks against Catholic churches" — including through "arson," "vandalism," and "desecration" — the words "Muslim," "migrants," or even "Islamists" appear nowhere in the report. Rather, "anarchist and feminist groups," angry at churches because they are "a symbol of the patriarchy that needs to be dismantled," are alluded to.

Meanwhile, even deductive reasoning makes clear that Muslims perpetrate the lion's share of attacks on churches. Dahlmans reports:

"[A]ccording to a 2022 OSCE report, France is in the top five European countries with the most recorded anti-Christian hate crimes. The other countries in the top five are Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and Sweden."

There is something else that these top five nations have in common: significantly large Muslim populations. Put differently, while Poland, Hungary and other Eastern European nations have their share of "anarchist and feminist groups," they have very few attacks on churches — and even fewer Muslims.

There are, of course, "practical" reasons why all of these Muslim attacks on French churches are massively obfuscated and dissembled. Imagine, for instance, how the tragic burning of the Notre Dame Cathedral in 2019 might be understood if it was common knowledge that countless churches in every corner of France have been and continue to be under constant attack, including through arson, by that nation's significant Muslim population (hundreds of whom made it a point to gloat as Notre Dame went up in flames)?

Best Idea to End Hamas Fight: Build New, 21st Century City in Jordan/Saudi Territory
By Kelly O'Connell ——Bio and Archives--November 13, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Nov. 13, 2023

One Enduring Gaza Truth? - The most enduring truth of the current unrest between modern Palestinians and the Jews is this: The fight is between two ancient residents who both equally have rights to the land. Correct? Actually, you’ll be amazed that this idea, now prevalent around the globe--is certainly false.

Philistines Were Cretan: The Jews, as descendants from the ancient Hebrews, have a strong claim to Israel. But the Palestinians are not descended directly from ancient Philistines. So are their claims still equally legitimate? For example, the most infamous Palestinian since Goliath, Yasser Arafat was born in Egypt. Does this fact shock you? And does it change your opinion of the current war? Ironically, and to understand the graft in Gaza, Arafat died a billionaire at $5.5 Billion!!

Biblical Story: First, let’s recall who the ancient Philistines were, that most modern folk simply assume were the forebears of today’s Palestinians. See Biblical History Daily, “Who Were the Philistines, and Where Did They Come From?”

“In the Bible, the Philistines are remembered as an uncircumcised people with advanced technology and a formidable military (Judges 14:3; 1 Samuel 13:19–20; Exodus 13:17). The Philistines frequently encroached on Israelite territory, which led to some battles, including the famous clash between David, the Israelite, and Goliath, the Philistine (1 Samuel 17). They were condemned for being idol worshipers (1 Samuel 5:1–5) and soothsayers (Isaiah 2:6). In short, the Philistines are portrayed quite negatively in the Bible.”
But, as to their origins, according to the Biblical Archeology Society, in an essay titled, Piece by Piece: Exploring the Origins of the Philistines, the scholarly consensus is that the earliest Philistines were actually derived from Crete, according to their DNA and also cultural remains, such as pottery styles.

See the Jewish Virtual Library, which states:

“The Philistines are referred to as the descendants of the Casluchim in Genesis 10:14 and Exodus 13:17. Known as a seafaring nation, the Philistines were a non-Semitic people who left Crete and arrived in Canaan at the beginning of the 12th century B.C.E. The Philistines inhabited the Mediterranean coast of Canaan during the period of the Book of Judges. They founded five principalities - Gaza, Asheklon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath.”
Source of Philistines: But the story of the history of the Philistines takes even more turns. Consider points from an October 9, 2023 essay: “Are the Palestinians Descendants of the Ancient Philistines?” by Caleb Howells, which relates that the Cretan Philistines were actually destroyed twice before the modern age:

“In the years surrounding 600 BCE, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon waged war against the Levant. Part of this campaign involved an attack against Philistia. During this attack, he devastated the Philistine nation. Some of their most important cities were utterly destroyed. Over the following decades, the Philistines limped on as a nation.
However, by the fifth century BCE, it appears that all historical and archaeological traces of the Philistines had disappeared. They may have survived as a group for some time thereafter, but Alexander the Great’s conquests in the following century certainly eliminated whatever trace of that nation was left.”

Howells goes onto to answer the question of where modern Palestinians derive from, stating,
“Because the term ‘Palestinians’ emerged in modern times--simply as a designation for those who lived in Palestine--it originally included a variety of ethnicities. However, most people living in Palestine when this distinct nationality began to emerge were Arabs. Therefore, the majority of Palestinians are Arabs. In fact, most of them are Muslim Arabs, but Christian Arabs in Palestine also identify as Palestinians.”

And Got Questions says this:

Until Israel was re-established as a nation in 1948, Palestine was the term for the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. The word Palestinian was applied to anyone living in that area. As one of the longest continually inhabited places on earth, this region has changed political ownership numerous times and has been a nexus of migration for many different cultures. The modern-day “Palestinians” represent a mixture of local inhabitants and many other groups of Muslims brought from Bosnia, the Balkans, and the Caucasus by the Turks in the 16th to 19th centuries; and from the Sudan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon by the British in the 20th century.

The term Palestinian did not take on its current popular meaning until the mid-20th century. In common use today, the term Palestinian is primarily applied to non-Jewish, Arabic-speaking residents of this region. This usage is highly controversial, however, since for most of human history a “Palestinian” was simply a person born or living in that land. When used in reference only to non-Jews, it implies an historical claim to the territory in opposition to Israel. In reality, the concept of Palestine as a nation-state in opposition to Israel or as a racial group predating the presence of Jewish inhabitants is historically false.

Thoughts: So, what conclusions should we draw from these facts? First, these facts obliterate the notion that the folks in Gaza are descendants from ancient Israel’s territory. Second, therefore, that Gaza is not an ancient property belonging to these modern folks. Third, given the incessant warring between the two, Palestinians could be relocated to outside of the State of Israel.

From War to Peace: Now as the current rulers of Gaza, the unhinged Hamas war machine, has promised permanent war against Israel 'till all are slaughtered. So, here is a proposition. It hasn’t worked out for modern Palestinians to live inside Israel. Further, as ancient Philistines were derived from Greeks, and as they were all slaughtered and obliterated, anyway, let’s put a set of new eyes on these problems. Let’s think outside the box. It’s time to protect Palestinians and give them a chance for success.

Relocation: The answer is to remove the residents of Gaza and relocate them nearby, but outside of Israel, in a gleaming and state of the art, brand new city, with every amenity and comfort possible. A new country, not run by terrorists and thieves, but by sincere pacifists who pledge peace with Israel. Now this is something to finally celebrate after 4,000 years of war.

Surviving Obama’s Third Term (How to Know When to Escape)
By Ray DiLorenzo
Tuesday, November 7, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd

It should be no mystery to anyone that Biden is not in charge. He is incapable of being in command of anything. While Biden eats ice cream and lounges at the beach, Obama is calling the shots. Many of the usual suspects are in their positions as they were during the anti-America Obama years, especially Susan Rice.

In November 2020, Obama said to Stephen Colbert:

“If I could make an arrangement where I had a stand-in, a frontman or frontwoman, and they had an earpiece in, and I was just in my basement in my sweats, looking through the stuff, then deliver the lines, but somebody else was doing all the talking, I’d be fine with that.”

Obama was the man who set race relations back decades, appeased Iran, energized Antifa, BLM, and the likes of Soros. He turned the FBI, the DOJ, the IRS, and anti-terrorist programs developed after 9/11 inward against the American people. It became apparent that Islamists enjoyed a preference under Obama. The Obama administration gave money and technology to Iran, aiding a global jihadist movement. Islamists make up 2.4% of the population, but commit over 60% of hate crimes. He demonized Trump with false charges that continue today. Obama was the true Manchurian candidate.

Obama made it simple for himself. Along with Soros, they created a deep state in Washington and much of the country, especially in the big cities. They are only loyal to the Democrat Party. Some of the fruits of that are the constant harassment of Trump. After Obama left the presidency, he bought a house in Washington, D.C., almost unheard of in presidential history, so he could be near, of all people, Susan Rice, Biden’s domestic policy advisor. She, along with Hillary, are the poster children for Benghazi. Rice was also heavily involved in spying on the Trump transition team. She’s a perfect match for both Obama and Biden; she has no core values. I would think the phone lines between the White House and Obama’s house are a constant hum. Reports of her stepping down from her post are meaningless. They have something else on tap.

You can ‘credit’ Biden with some activities. Showing the welcome wagon to trans people in the White House, some of them partially naked, his lecherous activities only Biden can come up with are legendary. He demonstrates an almost complete lack of moral values, touching everything and watching it turn to sh*t, the collecting of millions of dollars from political operatives world-wide for access—now that’s our Biden.

The $6 billion to Iran, the lukewarm support for Israel, much of it for the press and public consumption, the total disregard for immigration law, the dismantling of our military, giving up on energy independence, probably a first in world history, the spending to oblivion, has Obama written all over it. The Obama-Biden nuclear deal to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons is a farce. Let’s not forget Obama’s global mentality, looking to a new world order without the hassle of Americans living in freedom, voters, or people traveling around to and fro uncontrolled.

I never thought the ‘good ole days’ would be such a recent memory in our past—not quite 3 years ago. We had peace, security, energy independence, cheap gas, and a border more secure than it ever had been, and it was getting even better. We had jobs galore, industry was coming back, people were buying homes, and pride in America was renewed. It was not a perfect time; none are, but Trump was learning fast. All he needed was a loyal administration that put America first. When America is put first, the world wins.

Of course, we still had the Left, the perpetually unhappy, pissed-off Democrat-Socialist Left, that endlessly groans that our democracy is in danger and the 2016 election was stolen from them.

In 2016, with the media en masse predicting a Hillary win, the Democrats attempted to rig the election. Clinton wanted insurance, with democracy being the last thing on her mind. In preparation for the 2016 US election, the Obama administration gave the CIA instructions to turn over a surveillance supercomputer to the FBI and others. They possessed the computer, The Hammer, and the software, Scorecard. They just didn’t get the algorithm right, resulting in not enough votes being flipped. Hillary sent an email to Donna Brazile on 10/17/2016 warning, “If that (explicative deleted) Bastard wins, we all hang from nooses….” They miscalculated how popular Trump was. They received the popular vote but not the necessary number of electoral votes.

You can read in further detail what they were up to in our new book, ‘Invisible Treason in America.’

The computer system was used again in 2020 without the past mistakes. In fact, it was too good. They became paranoid, creating so many votes for Biden that, in many precincts, they ended up with more votes than voters. When the vote counting ceased midway through the evening of election night, millions of Americans suspected that something was amiss, that they might have lost their country to a criminal cabal unlike anything we have ever seen. You have to put yourself in the situation when it happened. COVID was on everyone’s mind. Election laws were ignored; there was a mass mailing of ballots to God knows where and who. We were losing control of the election before it had even begun. All according to plan.

When the counting had concluded, we found Biden, the candidate who didn’t campaign, could not get 50 supporters in the same room, could not speak the truth if it was on a cue card, a man with the social habits of a 14-year-old, won more votes than any presidential candidate in our history.

Trump’s presidency, like every other administration, was not without its flaws. Donald Trump was the first president to be elected without holding any prior political office. He had much to learn about the duplicity in Washington. Trump trusted some of the wrong people—Fauci, for sure. He tried to clean up the mess, but was fought every step of the way by the opposition and many of his own people. His approach to many issues could seem somewhat awkward by DC standards, if there is such a thing. He was a businessman, and like many in business, he reminded America that the business of America is business. And for Trump, business is only successful if it benefits all parties.

Unlike the Communist Party USA’s slogan, “People and Planet Before Profits,” Trump again reminded America that there is nothing for people or the planet without profits.

Trump was unpredictable. It drove our enemies and the Democrats crazy. His opposition could not understand that, to our enemies, being unpredictable was a strength, not a weakness. Instead, we had General Milley, who took it upon himself to tell his counterparts in China that he would secretly give them a personal phone call, warning them if they were about to be attacked. So, China had their man in the Joint Chiefs. He should have been removed and arrested for treason.

It’s only been three years ago that our nation enjoyed world-wide respect and fear—yes, fear—from our enemies. North Korea was quiet, Russia was quiet, and the Middle East was very quiet. They were beginning to conclude that peace was something they could achieve without war. Not a peep from China except for complaints of a trade war and industry coming back to the USA. They were also somewhat concerned that their industrial thieving might be coming to an end. The southern border was at a trickle pace.

NATO was also a bit taken back by it all. They were getting indications from Trump that the free ride was over. They were actually worried that they were going to have to pony up for their own defense.

The globalists? Well, they were given a lesson in American patriotism when Trump told them that we would never be a socialist nation and that our national sovereignty would be defended.

Inevitably, they all ganged up on Trump. Make America Great Again was not to be tolerated in the one-world order they are working to achieve.

The Israeli-Hamas War has shown the blatant weakness of the Democrat Party and most of the Left—antisemitism. The world has now seen it; the genie is out of the bottle and can’t be put back. The Left is protesting, even rioting, against Israel for defending themselves, calling for the death of Jews. Many Jewish-Americans will probably think again about their party affiliation, with many independents moving to the right.

Entering the last year of Obama’s third term, it’s clear we have become a free-for-all society in moral, social, and legal terms. Laws are either ignored or chosen for whom they will touch. Their Green New Deal is falling apart. No one wants windmills, buying solar, their kitchen appliances taken away, or electric cars, even with a $7000 government discount. Our spending is putting us in a very dangerous financial position. China’s carbon emissions get ignored while everyone else gets hassled to death.

The Democrats are making big mistakes, thinking we will just go along. Wrong! To survive this administration, we are going to have to be patient. The next 12 months will be unlike anything we have ever seen. But Americans are waking up. Become active in your local communities. Insist on honest elections, vote for pro-America candidates, and support our conservative organizations that are working hard to restore America. To be sure, the Globalist Democrat Party will go too far. When they do, allow the Left to do what they do best—screw up.

“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” - Napoleon

NBC News Admits Obama Is ‘Shadow President’ Serving His ‘Third Term’
November 4, 2023
By Sean Adl-Tabatabai
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Nov. 6th 2023

NBC News has admitted that Barack Obama has been secretly operating as America’s ‘shadow President’ for the last three years, illegally serving a third term in the White House.

According to an explosive report, Obama has been secretly overseeing the Biden administration, heightening concerns the ex-President is actually the secret commander-in-chief with his former VP at the helm:

WASHINGTON — Former President Barack Obama quietly advised the White House over the past five months on its strategy to address artificial intelligence, engaging behind the scenes with tech companies and holding Zoom meetings with top West Wing aides at President Joe Biden’s request, according to aides to both men.

The joint effort culminated Monday when Biden signed an executive order establishing some government oversight of AI development. It’s the first time Biden has tapped his former boss to help shape a key policy initiative, aides said, and he did it because Obama shares his views on the issue and brings a certain heft that could help move the process along quickly.

Infowars.com reports: Social media swiftly criticized the news, with many asserting it proved what has long been claimed about Biden’s presidency – that it essentially serves as Obama’s third term, a cunning circumvention of the US Constitution.

Recall that in 2020, Obama admitted he’d “be fine” with feeding lines from his basement to a frontman or stand-in through an earpiece.

Of course this is totally treasonous by trying to get through Congress agendas that the American people do not want like Obama’s gay pals want.

He is also guilty of sedition that is by definition a factious commotion in a state; the stirring up of such a commotion; incitement of discontent against government and disturbance of public tranquillity, as by inflammatory speeches or writings, or acts or language tending to breach of public order: as, to stir up a sedition; a speech or pamphlet, abounding in sedition. Moral relativism & Critical Race Theory that Obama endorses comes to mind. This is what many have called in government the enemy within for many years.

Obama, with his communist crew, will threaten & then kill you if you out him or tell the truth about his younger days when he was taught all the right moves by Bill Ayers, a revolutionary who built bombs that killed people. The recent demise of his White House chef who was going to write a tell all book that pointed to his gay relationship with Obama while working in the White House is a perfect example.

The 6 billion to fund Hamas to start the Middle East war was a proposal started with Obama backing. Obama & Biden both have blood on their hands. To have another endless war is just the ticket they wanted.

This is yet another example of why we should have election reform in order to keep the liars, creeps, pedos, warmongers and thieves out of office.

Authoritarians Drunk on Power
It’s Time to Recalibrate the Government
Guest Post by John W. Whitehead
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Nov. 1st 2023

“There is something terribly wrong with this country, isn’t there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who’s to blame?”— V for Vendetta

We have arrived at the dystopian future depicted in the 2005 film V for Vendetta, which is no future at all.

Set in the year 2020, V for Vendetta (written and produced by the Wachowskis) provides an eerie glimpse into a parallel universe in which a government-engineered virus wreaks havoc on the world. Capitalizing on the people’s fear, a totalitarian government comes to power that knows all, sees all, controls everything and promises safety and security above all.

Concentration camps (jails, private prisons and detention facilities) have been established to house political prisoners and others deemed to be enemies of the state. Executions of undesirables (extremists, troublemakers and the like) are common, while other enemies of the state are made to “disappear.” Populist uprisings and protests are met with extreme force. The television networks are controlled by the government with the purpose of perpetuating the regime. And most of the population is hooked into an entertainment mode and are clueless.

With Vendetta, whose imagery borrows heavily from Nazi Germany’s Third Reich and George Orwell’s 1984, we come full circle. The corporate state in V conducts mass surveillance on its citizens, helped along by closed-circuit televisions. Also, London is under yellow-coded curfew alerts, similar to the American government’s color-coded Homeland Security Advisory System.

Sounds painfully familiar, doesn’t it?

As director James McTeighe observed about the tyrannical regime in V for Vendetta, “It really showed what can happen when society is ruled by government, rather than the government being run as a voice of the people. I don’t think it’s such a big leap to say things like that can happen when leaders stop listening to the people.”

Clearly, those we appointed to represent our interests have stopped following the Constitution and listening to the American people.

What will it take for the government to start listening to the people again?

In V for Vendetta, as in my novel The Erik Blair Diaries, the subtext is that authoritarian regimes—through a vicious cycle of manipulation, oppression and fear-mongering—foment violence, manufacture crises, and breed terrorists, thereby giving rise to a recurring cycle of blowback and violence.

Only when the government itself becomes synonymous with the terrorism wreaking havoc in their lives do the people to finally mobilize and stand up to the government’s tyranny.

V, a bold, charismatic freedom fighter, urges the British people to rise up and resist the government. In Vendetta, V the film’s masked crusader blows up the seat of government on November 5, Guy Fawkes Day, while in Erik Blair, freedom fighters plot to unmask the Deep State.

Acts of desperation and outright anarchy are what happens when a parasitical government muzzles the citizenry, fences them in, herds them, brands them, whips them into submission, forces them to ante up the sweat of their brows while giving them little in return, and then provides them with little to no outlet for voicing their discontent: people get desperate, citizens lose hope, and lawful, nonviolent resistance gives way to unlawful, violent resistance.

This way lies madness.

Then again, madness may be unavoidable unless we can wrest back control over our runaway government starting at the local level.

It is time to recalibrate the government.

For years now, we have suffered the injustices, cruelties, corruption and abuse of an entrenched government bureaucracy that has no regard for the Constitution or the rights of the citizenry.

By “government,” I’m not referring to the farce that is the highly partisan, two-party, bureaucracy of the Republicans and Democrats. Rather, I’m referring to “government” with a capital “G,” the entrenched Deep State that is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movements, and has set itself beyond the reach of the law.

We are overdue for a systemic check on the government’s overreaches and power grabs.

We have lingered too long in this strange twilight zone where ego trumps justice, propaganda perverts truth, and imperial presidents—empowered to indulge their authoritarian tendencies by legalistic courts, corrupt legislatures and a disinterested, distracted populace—rule by fiat rather than by the rule of law.

The COVID-19 pandemic provided the government with the perfect excuse to lay claim to a long laundry list of terrifying lockdown powers (at both the federal and state level) that override the Constitution: the ability to suspend the Constitution, indefinitely detain American citizens, bypass the courts, quarantine whole communities or segments of the population, override the First Amendment by outlawing religious gatherings and assemblies of more than a few people, shut down entire industries and manipulate the economy, muzzle dissidents, reshape financial markets, create a digital currency (and thus further restrict the use of cash), determine who should live or die, and impose health mandates on large segments of the population.

Crises tend to bring out the authoritarian tendencies in government.

That’s no surprise: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Bankrupt Iran by Closing Their Oil Cash Cow
by Lawrence Kadish
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
October 23, 2023 at 3:00 pm

History is filled with the terrible retribution inflicted on America's foes when those enemies underestimate the United States.

Consider Imperial Japan, which totally underestimated the United States. Hitler thought we could manufacture cars but never have the ability to produce tanks, an air force, a two-ocean navy and the willpower to fight and win. The Soviets told the West: "We will bury you." And Osama Bin Laden's ashes will never be found.

So when US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) warns Iran that their role in supporting the terrorist murder of some 1,400 Israelis by Hamas has the potential to result in immensely serious "consequences," he is attempting to ensure that Tehran does not make the fatal mistake of underestimating the United States.

Looking on the surface, it might be easy to do so. Japan saw that the U.S. Congress debated and delayed for months before finally instituting a military draft in 1940. Hitler saw the American-based Nazi Bund convene a rally at Madison Square Garden. We currently have a president whose ability and political will have openly been questioned. The House of Representatives is in disarray. We are facing a multi-trillion dollar debt. Surely we must be distracted and incapable of action.

All the more reason that Graham's warning, which included "tak[ing] down an oil refinery" for every hostage killed. "The only way you're gonna keep this war from escalating is to hold Iran accountable," Graham recently stated.

On October 22, Graham said: "We're here today to tell Iran: We're watching you. If this war grows, it's coming to your backyard." And to make a point, he made that statement from Tel Aviv, as part of a delegation of ten U.S. Senators. "There won't be two fronts, there'll be three," he added, allowing the recipient of that message to ponder what and where that third military front would be.

Such a comment would be empty were it not for the fact that two U.S. Navy carrier strike groups are steaming on patrol in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Defense analysts say they are there gathering intelligence and patrolling the region, projecting American military power.

With two U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups operating in unison, there are 12,000 American sailors not far from the current conflict, and they come armed with the latest in weaponry. Somewhere, someone in Tehran has a memory: Iran's regime must be considering the actions of President Ronald Reagan in 1986, and of President Donald Trump in 2020, when his administration eliminated Qasem Soleimani, who was commander of the Qods Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, by a drone strike. Many commentators then predicted that the region would "explode." It did not. Quite the contrary. Iran, seeing that the U.S. "meant business" -- not by words but by actions -- backed down immediately.

Reagan, for his part, in 1986 ordered an aerial attack on Libya in retaliation for that country's agents bombing a West Berlin nightclub, killing three people, including a U.S. serviceman, and injuring almost 300 people. Reagan had the evidence dead to rights. Libya had sponsored multiple terrorist attacks, and while Reagan's decision to act did not constitute an act of war, he had the support of a functioning Congress. U.S. military aircraft engaged in a twelve-minute operation over Libya that targeted areas near Tripoli and Benghazi, and focused on military targets as well as Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's residential compound. It sent a clear message that there were lines you do not cross when dealing with the United States.

Over time that line has become blurred and too often ignored. Lindsey Graham has reminded the world, and ourselves: never underestimate an America roused to anger.

Prophecy Watchers - Is the Psalms 83 War About to Happen?
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
By Steve Schmutzer
Oct. 19th 2023

While it does not yet meet the full criteria of the prophetic Psalms 83 war, the present conflict in Israel shows every sign of checking all those boxes in short order.

Israel - now on a formal war footing for the first time in 50 years - is receiving international support for her military operations. This is unparalleled. But as evil and macabre as the images and stories of Israel's slaughtered civilians are, this broad support for Israel will be short-lived.

Truth is always one of the first casualties of war. As constant and negative scrutiny from those who have reluctantly joined the chorus of Israel's supporters inevitably mounts, their support will wane. Any protracted military operations by the Jewish state will feed the agenda of institutionalized "humanitarian" and socialist groups, giving them the time to craft their propaganda campaigns to damage Israel's reputation.

The tough reality is the narrative of the underdog carries an emotional appeal which will always resonate and create an initial veneer of support. Israel must act hard and fast. She must achieve the essential goals before misguided pro-Palestinian human-interest stories begin widely circulating and the 'bully' image gets unfairly pinned to Israel once more.

In short, Israel has limited time in which to act before she is expending more energy defending her actions than she is defending her populace.

Current hesitations on Israel's part to initiate the ground invasion in Gaza will eventually yield to her doing just that. She has to. It's not a matter of choice as much as it is an issue of national survival. But, when she does enter Gaza by ground, it will be perceived as a game changer for her surrounding foes. Likely one or more of them will see this as the excuse they need and want to formally jump into the conflict.

After that, other dominoes are likely to fall - - quickly. There are suddenly more angry cats to herd. As other players get involved, the more challenging and chaotic things will become. This will directly increase the odds that this conflict will proverbially spiral out of control. At least that's the case from man's perspective. But from God's point of view, it's all falling precisely into place at that point.

Key criteria for the greater conflict of Psalms 83 are already being hinted at by the current participants. Israel to Hezbollah (reportedly): "You jump in this game, then we will take out Damascus." Hezbollah to Israel (reportedly): "You start the ground game in Gaza, and we will attack you." Iran about all its proxies (reportedly): "They will each have an opportunity to jump into this conflict soon." I've paraphrased here - - but that's the general angle of what's being said.

So, it may not be long now till the last week and a half looks like the small stuff. If I understand Psalms 83 and complimentary passages correctly then Israel is in for a rough ride. She'll come out of it worn, weary, vulnerable, spent, and battered. She'll have taken many bad hits - - but she'll come out of it with the victory medal. She'll also have a lot more territory and a lot less adversaries. The Bible makes the sobering point that Israel's nearby foes will "perish."

I think it's then that Israel most qualifies as a "land of those brought back from the sword," and as being occupied by those who dwell "securely," in "safety," and "in confidence." These are criteria laid out in Ezekiel 38 and 39, and there seems to be a hint of something akin to an atypical 'serenity' here. I imagine Israel will have no walls or fences at that point partly because her newest boundaries are still being defined - and debated - on the world stage.

It won't be long after thereafter that Russia and her allies see a rare window of opportunity. Israel will be spent, tired, fractured, traumatized - - and getting back to a word I used earlier, vulnerable. She will also possess assets she did not have before. Russia will see a predatory opportunity and she will smell blood. She will move in. To ensure her own quick success (she will want no more Ukrainian-type dynamics) Russia will muster myriad forces that no conflict on earth has yet seen. A couple of Russia's allies will be licking some deep wounds of resentment from the conflict before.

America won't rapidly mobilize any major military assets to assist Israel this next time, because America - it seems - will be very different this next time around. Things will have dramatically changed for America somewhere between these two conflicts. She's not going to be there for Israel like she was before. Nor will any of America's closest allies. They'll all be whimpering and protesting on the sidelines instead. That's made clear in Ezekiel.

Why?

Perhaps between the end of Psalms 83 and the start of Ezek. 38 & 39 the Rapture happens. That's just a guess, but maybe that's why God steps in and supernaturally defeats Russia and her cohorts. The Bible says He will be known in the eyes of many nations. The only glory that will come from this is the glory that God will get.

It's important to understand that things are not 'normal' anymore after the Rapture. They are 'paranormal.' The supernatural will be the new norm.

In a post-Rapture era where the rise of a new depraved world leader is saturated by "counterfeit miracles, signs, and wonders," it seems God elects to deal with the depravities of an unprecedented and opportunistic conflict against the Jews the same way - - supernaturally.
We live in interesting times indeed.

The Heart of God
By Rick Segoine
Published on: October 9, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Oct. 18th 2023

How big is the heart of our Heavenly Father, and how much does He love us?

One of the many scripture verses that answers this question is this one.

“It is not God’s will that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9).

That means that if His will were to be done by all, everyone who ever lived would be saved and redeemed and live eternally with Him.

He knows that because of the free will factor, many will choose to not be with Him for eternity, and yet it is not His will that it would be that way.

God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have a huge heart full of love, amazing grace, and mercy.

Following are some of the scripture verses that reveal the love that God has for us.

Psalm 103:8 “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.”

Romans 5:8 “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”

John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”

Jeremiah 31:3 “The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

Psalm 136:26 “Give thanks to the God of heaven, for His steadfast love endures forever.”

1 John 4:8 “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

1 Peter 5:6-7 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.”

1 John 4:10 “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Romans 5:5 “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.”

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Psalm 36:7 “How precious is your steadfast love oh God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

Isaiah 41:13 “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.'”

Isaiah 54:10 “For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”

John 16:27 “For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.”

Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

1 John 4:9 “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.”

These are just a few of the Old and New Testament scriptures describing the love our Lord has for us.

There are so many more, like when Jesus told the story of the shepherd who went to find the one sheep who was lost. Or the father who rejoiced when his prodigal son had returned. Or when Jesus, sitting upon the Mt. of Olives, wept over the people of Jerusalem and the people of Israel because of their hardened hearts and unwillingness to recognize the very one who was sent to save them and heal them, fill them with joy, and bestow on them eternal life.

Surely, one of the greatest demonstrations of God’s love was when Jesus, as He hung upon the cross, said these words: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” To forgive and to feel love and concern for those who had just mocked you, beaten you mercilessly, and crucified you is a huge kind of love indeed.

What a blessing it is to know how much God loves us.

What a blessing it is to trust God with all of our hearts.

What a blessing it is to have God create in us a new heart.

A heart like His.

A heart to love as He loves.

A heart to treat others as He would do.

A heart filled with graciousness and mercy and compassion and a will that none should perish.

“No ear has heard, no eye has seen, and no human mind has conceived of the things God has prepared for those who love Him. These are things God has revealed to us by the Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

It won’t be long now until we begin to find out what the above promise actually looks like.

Perhaps just after the Rapture, we will begin to know, and when God creates a new heaven and a new earth after the millennium, we will know in full.

Won’t it be wonderful to live for eternity in a world that thrives on God’s amazing love and is appreciated by all?

The heart of God is indeed huge and filled with the most beautiful and the most perfect love.

Deep inside the heart of God is the safest and most secure place to call home in all of the universe and beyond.

If you have been lost in the ways of the world and have read these words about the love of God, and you would like to turn your life over to the only one who can save you and who loves you more than you could possibly imagine, then in a humble spirit of repentance, do the following:

Believe in Jesus. Believe that He is who He Himself says He is (the Way and the Truth and the Life) and that He, because of the boundless love He and His Father have for you, paid in full for your sins and died in your place on that cross at Calvary so that you may receive the free gift of salvation and become part of God’s forever family. Believe in Him, trust in Him, and believe with all of your heart that He was raised from the dead and rose again, and then tell someone that Jesus has become your Savior.

Romans 10:9-10 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

May the steadfast love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit fill the hearts of many lost souls on this very day and call them to salvation.

BIBI MAKES INCREDIBLE SPEECH:
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Oct. 12th 2023

The Speech of the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu is surprising, with all the glory to God. - Mr. Nethanyahu said:

"Only 70 years ago the Jews were led to the slaughterhouse like sheep. 60 years ago we had no country or army. Just a few hours after its creation, seven Arab countries declared war on our small Jewish state. We were only 650 Jews against the rest of the Arab world, without any Israel Defense Army (IDF). No powerful air force, just brave people.

Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, they all attacked us at the same time. The country that the United Nations gave us was 65% desert. The country was in nowhere! 35 years ago we fought against the three most powerful armies in the Middle East, and we swept them away, yes... in six days. We have fought against various coalitions of Arab countries, which had modern armies and many Soviet weapons, and we have always defeated them! Today we have:
*A country
*An army
*A powerful air force
*A State whose economy exports millions of dollars
*Intel - Microsoft - IBM develops products for the whole world.
*Our doctors receive awards for medical research.
*We have numerous Nobel Prize winners in all areas.

We have made the desert bloom, we sell oranges, flowers and vegetables to everyone. Israel has sent its own satellites into space! Three satellites at the same time! We are proud to be in the same range as: the United States, which has 350 million inhabitants. Russia, which has 200 million inhabitants, China which has 1.3 billion inhabitants. Europe (France, Great Britain, Germany), with 350 million inhabitants. Those are the only countries in the world that send objects into space! Israel is now part of the family of nuclear powers, with the United States, Russia, China, India, France and Britain.

We have never officially admitted it, (but everyone knows it): only 60 years ago, they led us, ashamed and desperate, to sacrifice! We have the smoking ruins of Europe fresh and we won our wars here with less than nothing. We have built our little "Empire" from nothing. Who is Hamas to want to scare us, to intimidate us? You make us laugh!

Easter was celebrated; Let's not forget what it is about. We have survived Pharaoh. We survived the Greeks. We have survived the Romans. We have survived the inquisition in Spain and the pogroms in Russia. We have survived Hitler. We have survived the Germans. We have survived the Holocaust. We have survived the armies of seven Arab countries. We have survived Saddam. We will continue to survive today's enemies as well. Think about any other time in human history!

Think about it: for us, the Jewish people, the situation has never been better! Let's face the world. Let us remember: all the nations or cultures that once tried to destroy us, today no longer exist and we still live! Egypt? The Greeks? Alexander of Macedonia? The Romans? Does anyone speak Latin these days? And the Third Reich? And look at us: Bible Nation, the slaves of Egypt, we are still here. And we speak the same language! Before and now! The Arabs don't know it yet, but they will learn that there is a God! ....as long as we maintain our identity, we will be here forever!

So we apologize for not worrying. For not crying. For not being afraid. Things are good here. They could certainly be better. However: don't believe the media because they don't say that parties are still happening, people are still living, people are still going out, people are still going out to see their friends. Yes, our morale is low. Because? Only because we mourn our dead, while others rejoice in the spilled blood. That's why we're going to win in the end. He never sleeps or will never sleep...the guardian of Israel...HaShem, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Forward this speech to the entire community, and to people around the world. They are part of our strength. Share it with all your friends and with everyone who does not know the Truth.... 🇮🇱🇬🇹🇺🇸🇨🇴🇻🇪

Let us now consider the possibility of human-like life on other planets. God reveals himself as the creator of all things that exist everywhere (Colossians 1:12 - 13, 15 - 17). He created our sun and every star that exists, with some so far away that they appear as points of light. He created the various island universes we call galaxies, which have hundreds of billions of stars. He created matter, gravity, force, energy, radiation, colors, angels, spiritual principles, and even time.

Science has so far revealed (from a physical perspective) that NO living beings exist on any planets other than the earth. Science also tells us that living things can only come from things that are already alive. A conscious existence cannot come from inorganic matter. If something is alive somewhere else then God himself would have created it. It would not have come into existence through evolutionary processes.

Life is extremely complex and from a scientific and mathematical perspective, earth probably contains the only living entities that exist in the cosmos. It is highly unlikely, probably impossible, that creatures like us exist anywhere else. Evolutionary science is blind to all of the above because they have rejected the knowledge of God.

Any life found on other planets would still owe their existence to God. If he created conscious, thinking beings on places other than earth, it would not distort the Biblical concept of creation. The Eternal would still be responsible for their existence.

The Bible in a Nutshell
The progression of main biblical events that comprise our Heavenly Father’s plan for humanity -
By Rick Segoine
Published on: October 4, 2023
Researched by Pastor Gary Boyd
Oct. 5th 2023

For those who might not have ever read the entire Bible from cover to cover, this article is a synopsis that follows the progression of main biblical events that comprise our Heavenly Father’s plan for humanity. Of course, there are many details to these biblical events that are best attained by reading the Bible cover to cover. Our Heavenly Father’s plan for humanity is also known as His “Week of Creation.” A “week” being seven millenniums (2 Peter 3:8; Psalm 90:4).

Before Almighty God created the earth, He had created the angels. Job 38:4-7 tells us that when God laid the earth’s foundation, the angels “shouted for joy.”

A third of the angels rebelled against their creator and became fallen.

Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel, the Creator, spoke all things into existence through His Son Jesus at least 4,000 years before Jesus came to earth in a human body (John 1:1; Genesis 1:1).

God, who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, created the entire universe and everything in it. Suns, moons, stars, planets, solar systems, galaxies, nebula, black holes and everything else found in outer space, as well as the earth and everything on the earth (Genesis 1:1).

Animals of all kinds, birds that fly through the air, fish that swim in the oceans and rivers. He created all living creatures of every kind. He also created all of the elements such as gravity, an atmosphere full of air to breathe, and every other mineral and atomic component that allows living beings to exist comfortably and hold the universe together.

Our Heavenly Father is the all-time master chemist.

He created first Adam and then Eve in His own image and bestowed upon them free will (Genesis 2).

He created many fruit-bearing trees in the Garden of Eden to sustain Adam and Eve but instructed them not to eat of a certain tree in the midst of the garden called the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil because if they did eat of it, they would surely die” (Genesis 3).

The fallen angel called Lucifer took the form of a snake and tempted Eve, saying, “If you eat of this fruit, you will not surely die but rather, you will be like God and know good and evil.”

Lucifer was calling God a liar, and Eve believed him.

She shared the temptation with Adam, and together, of their own free will, they ate of the fruit.

Symbolically speaking, Pandora’s Box was opened, and evil began to leak out and then spill out and engulf the earth as the now fallen human population multiplied and grew until over one and one-half days of God’s “Week of Creation” had passed.

Wickedness and evil became so prevalent (partly due to the influence of the fallen angels) on the earth during this time that God decided to start over (Genesis 6:6-8).

About 1,600 years had passed since God created Adam. A little more than a day and a half of God’s “Week of Creation.”

God made a covenant with Noah to build an ark that took Noah and his sons 120 years to complete. Then God flooded the earth. Only Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives, and two of each kind of animal that God led onto the ark survived to repopulate the earth in this new beginning.

Although Noah and his family were chosen by God, their genetics from fallen humans were imperfect.

It seems that the fallen human nature has a very hard time resisting evil, and as the years passed and new generations multiplied, wickedness once again reared its ugly head.

Lucifer, in his never-ending efforts to place himself above his creator, inspired some wicked humans to attempt building a tower to the highest parts of heaven. It was known as the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9).

God nipped that project in the bud by causing them all to speak in different languages and scattering them all over the earth.

Meanwhile, humans continued to multiply, and so did wickedness.

Human propensity to embrace evil led to God calling Abraham to become the father of a nation that would be called Israel. God planned to reveal Himself to and through the Israelites. Abraham’s wife Sarah gave birth to Isaac. Isaac’s son Jacob had twelve sons. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel. His sons became the fathers of tribes, and the nation of Israel was formed; yet, at this point, they still had no permanent land of their own.

Unfortunately, The nation of Israel began a pattern of drifting back and forth between obedience to God and rebellion, from its earliest inception as the tribes of Israel multiplied.

Looking for a place to call their own, the Israelites came into Egypt where they became enslaved for 400 years, until being freed by God through Moses and ten astonishing supernatural miracles to convince the Pharaoh of Egypt to let God’s people go.

The way of their escape led them through the miraculously parted waters of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:22).

After they were freed from bondage in Egypt, the Israelites spent 40 years wandering in the wilderness, sustained by manna from heaven and water that miraculously flowed out of rocks. After 40 years, when the younger generation had been raised up, minus the slave mentality, God gave the Israelites the land He had promised them. The same land we now know as modern Israel.

It was also in this time period that Moses received the Ten Commandments from our Heavenly Creator atop Mt. Sinai. Moses stood in the holy presence of God, who, as he had earlier in Exodus 3:14 (when He had first called upon Moses to free the Israelites from bondage to the Egyptian Pharoah), identified Himself to Moses as “I am that I am.”

God continued to reveal Himself to fallen humanity by doing miracles for and through the Israelites.

There were many struggles in establishing the nation of Israel in the land known as the Promised Land; however, eventually, the Israelites began to flourish as a nation.

God also, at this time, began to raise up a unique and select few Holy Spirit-led individuals that He called prophets.

The time of King David and his son, King Solomon, was and is still considered the golden era of Israel.

As the centuries rolled by, those Holy Spirit-led God-chosen individuals known as prophets had been prophesying.

The prophets detailed events that would occur in their own lifetimes, the more distant future, like the 1st advent of the Messiah, and the far distant future, like the 2nd coming of the Messiah and the times we live in this very day.

The prophets prophesied about the future regarding the nation of Israel itself and the future revealing the coming of a Messiah that would reconcile Israel and all nations and peoples back to God.

The prophets spoke of this Messiah coming to earth on two separate occasions and in two different epochs.

Hundreds of years before Jesus appeared on earth for the first time, over 300 prophecies about Him were made by prophets that lived hundreds of years apart from each other. Jesus fulfilled every single prophecy.

The first advent of Jesus saw Him come to earth as the Lamb of God. The “Only Begotten Son of God,” born to an Israelite virgin named Mary, by the conception of the Holy Spirit.

God’s only begotten son, Jesus, had supernatural powers to do miracles, overcome death, and forgive sins.

After three and a half years of ministry that saw Jesus spread the good news of God’s eternal kingdom and healing all manner of afflictions, raising the dead to life, and speaking words of great wisdom like no one before or after Him have ever spoken, Jesus did the most amazing thing of all.

He allowed the God-haters of that time and the jealous religious hypocrites (Pharisees) to convince the Romans to crucify Him on a cross at a place called Calvary.

As the sinless Lamb of God, hanging on that cross, He took upon Himself the punishment for all of the sins of everyone past, present, and future, and that includes you and me. He did this to reconcile any and all who believe in Him back to our Heavenly Father (John 3:16-17).

“For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Many of the 300 or so prophecies, made hundreds of years before Jesus spoke of these exact things (Isaiah 53:5-12; Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 9:6-7; Deuteronomy 21:23; and Peter 2:24 (which explains the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 21:23) are just a few of the many prophecies that came to pass.

The 2,400 years that passed between the flood of Noah’s time and the appearing of Jesus Christ the Messiah, along with the 1,600 years from Adam to the flood, at this point equaled four days of God’s “Week of Creation.”

The next two days of creation leading up to the present time we live in is often referred to as the “Age of Grace.”

These two full days of creation are described as the time to fulfill the great commission given to His disciples by the Messiah Himself. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus says to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Two thousand years or two days of God’s “Week of Creation,” known as the “Age of Grace,” have been blessed by God to bring the gospel, the good news of salvation by grace, to the ends of the earth.

When that has been accomplished, it brings us to the end of six days of God’s “Week of Creation.”

There are even more prophecies by those Holy Spirit-led Prophets of God concerning what is referred to as the “end times” or the “last days” and the 2nd coming of Jesus than prophecies about the 1st coming of Jesus.

Those who study prophecy today, they who allow the Holy Spirit to do the leading, can see by the signs of our times, as given by Jesus Himself, that we are in those last days.

We are right now at the very end of the sixth day when two prophesied events are about to take place, just before the seventh day of creation in God’s “Week of Creation” can officially begin.

The first is revealed in 1Thessilonians 15-17 and the second in 2Thessalonians 2:3. These two scriptures describe two things that happen at the same time. One is the Rapture of the remnant church, and the other is the removal of the restrainer so that the “antichrist” can be revealed. It is the Holy Spirit that guides the lives and beliefs of true born-again believers, and it is the Holy Spirit who restrains the forces of evil. The great “catching away, and the removal of the “restrainer” also dovetails with the great “falling away” of the church prophesied to happen in the last days.

Once these amazing events happen, the “antichrist” will be revealed and be instrumental (peace treaty with Israel) in opening the doors officially to a seven-year period that precedes the beginning of God’s seventh day of creation, which will be the last day in God’s “Week of Creation.”

This seven-year period following the rapture and the removal of the restrainer is known mainly by these three titles: “The Seven Year Tribulation,” “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble,” and “the 70th Week of Daniel.”

It will be a time when that ugly thing called evil will gush and rush like the foulest of raging rivers and will reach its apex of destructiveness.

This will bring about the long-prophesied wrath of God upon Satan/Lucifer and all of his God-hating Christ-rejecting minions as the judgments revealed in the Book of Revelation are released upon the world.

At the end of the Tribulation, aka “the Terrible Day of the Lord,” Jesus will return to the earth in great glory and supernaturally put an end to the madness of evil and an end to the wrath of God.

At that point will begin the seventh and last day of “God’s Week of Creation.” A thousand years of peace on earth with Jesus as King, ruling the world justly from the holy city of Jerusalem.

The “antichrist” and his false prophet, who together had deceived millions of people, will have been banished by Jesus to the Lake of Fire. Satan will have been chained up in a bottomless pit (Revelation 20:1-3).

Near the very end of the thousand-year final day of creation, Satan will be released temporarily to test the loyalties of those who have been born into mortal bodies as the progeny of the tribulation survivors. This one last rebellion will be short-lived, and then Satan will also be banished to the Lake of Fire.

Then comes the White Throne Judgment, where everyone who ever lived in the “Week of Creation” who embraced evil and/or rejected God’s amazing grace and free offer of salvation, will stand before the Judgment seat and accept the punishment for their sins.

These are all those who chose, by their own free will, to receive the perfect justice of God rather than the bountiful mercy of God.

Then they, too, will join Satan/Lucifer, the “antichrist” and his false prophet, and all of the fallen angels, as well as all lovers of and unrepentant doers of evil, in the Lake of Fire.

So many warnings along the way such as, “The day you eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, you will surely die” and “the wages of sin is death.” Also, much of the Book of Proverbs.

It is not God’s will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9).

Though God provided a way to Eternal Life through repentance of sin and belief in His Son, many instead (when it is all said and done) will have chosen to believe in the lies of the evil one. As a result, they will perish into the Lake of Fire.

The seventh day of God’s “Week of Creation” at that time will be over, and God will then create a new Heavens and a new Earth.

In Isaiah 65:17, God declares: “For behold, I create a new heaven and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind.”

In the new Heaven and the new Earth, there will be no evil. No evil at all, zero evil. Think of it: all who choose to believe in Jesus and accept God’s grace upon your life, an eternity without even the slightest trace of that horrid thing called evil.

God’s Week of Creation. Seven millenniums. From being tempted by evil to realizing evil is no good and we are all far better off without it.

The Bible in a Nutshell…

Praise you, Holy God, my Creator, my Heavenly Father. Praise you, my Lord and Savior, my most Precious Jesus. Praise you, Holy Spirit, my most Wonderful Companion. Praise you Now and for all Eternity.
