A Challenge to All OPP Liberals

The most racist statement I ever heard came from Bennie Thompson, Grand Inquisitor of the January 6 Committee. It was never mentioned in the media.

I was working in The Delta Health Center in Greenville, Mississippi and we went to an anniversary celebration at the parent clinic in Mound Bayou. It was founded under Lyndon B. Johnson's War on Poverty to bring affordable health care to the medically indigent across the country. The featured speaker was none other than the Honorable Bennie Thompson. During his address he said that it was 'important that we get medical care from people who look like us.'

What difference does it matter what the care provider looks like? And doesn't Christian Scripture say that we're all created in the likeness of God?

I took that statement to be an insult to my integrity as a physician. I am sure that I have failed in providing perfect care to everyone but I don't think I've ever done less than my best based on skin color.

The local NBC affiliate had its cameras there and the newspapers had their reporters there but there was no mention of it in the newscasts and broadcast media.

And I am sure NotMAGA, that this doesn't bother you in the least nor does it matter to any of the other self-righteous liberal blowhards of OPP.

And to NotMAGA and all those other OPP liberals, please take this as a challenge to respond!

[quote=NotMAGA]...and it starts in the home.

"A racist LeBron James poster sparked an investigation in a New York school district earlier this week.

The poster featuring the Los Angeles Lakers star was shown at the New Hartford Festival of the Arts and was created by a student in a junior high art class in the New Hartford Central School District, according to WIBX.
The poster was meant to be a part of a fictional cereal box for "Monkey Premium Cereal." The tagline read, "Eat Monkeys, Jump Like Monkeys!" At the bottom the poster read, "Jump like LeBron James" along with a picture of the Lakers star dunking.

The display was featured at the arts show on Saturday [5/4/24] according to the paper. It immediately went viral as photos appeared online."

I know what some of you may think... if I like USSR so much why don't I go back.. USSR, was a country I was born in.. I'm not gonna deny my heritage.. I LOVE my new country , USA and that will never ever change.. It's just the best years of my childhood were in USSR.. Sometimes I wonder whatever happened to my friends, my classmates I had bunch of friends outside of school.. Things change when I started the 3rd grade, that's when antisemitic attacks happened.. That's when my dad was starting to talk about coming to America..Contrary to what some people think my dad was very anti- Communist..... It won't happen until 6 years later when I turned 15.. In any case , it's not that I miss Soviet Union per se, it's that I miss my childhood days, when I had fun with friends and family.. This song is about yesterday's, about what it's used to be, that will never happen again..

I took three years of college Russian. Russia is a beautiful country with beautiful people and a beautiful heritage of wonderful literature, music, dance, architecture, etc. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn once said that to equate Russia with communism is like equating the patient with his cancer.

I believe ditto for Germany and National Socialism. I am German descent on both sides of my family.

Although I thank you for your devotion to this country, I wonder if we deserve it. Solzhenitsyn came to America after he was exiled from The Soviet Union and lived, quietly, in Vermont. After the USSR fell, he returned to Russia with a farewell blast that he could not recommend American society because of our excessive materialism & our loss of spirituality. Pope John Paul II said the same & I agree

Any 'statistics' you cite, I regard as suspect. Margins of profit within most industries are remarkably similar.

Besides, you obviously missed my point was about how much money is extracted from all Americans' income. When people become aware of it, they are astonished. If everyone becomes aware, they would be astonished.

Instant Recipe for a Tax Revolution?

Look at your most recent pay stub with your Social Security & Medicare withholdings. Then realize that your employer matches those amounts, usually dollar for dollar.

But it gets worse. In the various, so-called, progressive states, such as The People's Republic of Rhode Island, where I lived for many years, there is a matched withholding of about 1% from the employees' pay for unemployment insurance. The employer, depending on his unemployment history, has to match that, and sometimes it's three to four times it. In some cases there are other withholdings.

With regard to unemployment compensation, the requirements are easily met. Employer challenges are usually decided in favor of the former worker. It has led to the description of "Oh," he or she "is collecting," which everyone knows means unemployment insurance. While they're 'collecting,' they frequently would work for other employers 'under the table.'

There is a subset of people who go to work for the required time, provoke some kind of a confrontation with an employer or supervisor, then quit or get fired, then go out to collect until it runs out when they go to their next employer. I had a female receptionist, who did that. Her husband came to office and act belligerent. I had to warn him, then they left together & she filed for unemployment.

I objected but her father was very politically connected and she was granted benefits. My wife and I saw her a few months later. She was a clerk at another store and we figured she was preparing for another episode of unemployment.

The ultimate point is that all of these withholdings and their matches would have been part of the employee's paycheck were it not for these government mandates (they call them) benefits.

And its all withheld so the employee never sees it and doesn't miss it. It's time for the public to know about the costs of government largesse.

A lot of liberals are upset over the revelation that Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota shot & killed her dog. It was because the dog was impossible to control, biting many people including children. But liberals don't care.

Yet these very same liberals endorse the annual slaughter of hundreds of thousands of fetuses.

It a tradition by Democrats & other progressives, pioneered by FDR and Adolf Hitler. Put people to work for government and claim you reduced unemployment. One of the main reasons why FDR initiated Social Security was to take older workers out of the work force.

I am astonished that Joe Biden has not been excommunicated by the American bishops. There is no one more morally decrepit and degenerate than those who advocate abortion. It is an assault on totally innocent life.

Anyone who supports abortion up to the point of birth is complicit in the deaths of 64,000,000. Hitler had just 21 million to his discredit.

Why do you hate free speech and freedom of assembly? Not to mention the government freezing assets of private institutions? Oh yea, you long to turn our republic into Putin’s Russia.

The Constitution only guarantees freedom of speech & assembly in public spaces. Campuses are private and subject to the restrictions of the owners. With public colleges & universities, other restrictions may apply. The Democratic idea of freedom of speech and assembly would win a Lenin Peace Prize.
