Bannon wants billionaire Mark Cuban to run for prez as Democrat

Former White House strategist Stephen Bannon is encouraging another billionaire businessman to run for the White House — as a Democrat.

Bannon, who is back in his old role at right wing news site Breitbart, has spoken to Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban several times about the possibility of running for president in 2020, the Daily Beast reported on Friday.

The “Shark Tank” star and Hillary Clinton supporter has openly mulled such a bid, but Bannon’s backing of Cuban as a Democrat adds a layer of intrigue to the pair’s relationship.

“They talk regularly,” Sam Nunberg, a former Trump adviser and Bannon ally told the Daily Beast. “They’re very similar. They have a lot of synergy there. Even when (Steve) went to work for Trump, Mark would be interviewed and say nice things about Steve.”

Cuban, who sat down with Bannon at the St. Regis Hotel in Midtown weeks after Trump’s election win, said the pair have exchanged texts, but nothing “more than a full sentence.”

Bannon, who has been criticized for his ties to the alt-right and white nationalist movements, has implied that his former boss may not seek a second term, according to Vanity Fair.

On Thursday, Cuban spoke at The New York Times DealBook Conference and said that if he ran for president, it would be as a “Republican before Democrat, and most likely independent.”

Earlier in the month, he told Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday that he was “thinking (about it) quite a bit. Would I do it? Right now I say it is 10%.”

“What holds me back more than anything is my family,” he added.

Trump dismissed the idea of the rival mogul making a play for the Oval Office in February.

“I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!” he tweeted.

Cuban has been a vocal critic of Trump since the President started his unlikely campaign in 2015.

The 59-year-old frequently derides Trump as clueless, stupid and ignorant, but has praised Bannon as “smart” and said he’s done business with the alt-right darling.

“Steve Bannon is smart. Far far smarter than Trump. Trump lives in the moment. Steve will have a plan,” Cuban tweeted last year during the campaign.

Bannon, an economic nationalist and far-right conservative, has openly vowed to disrupt the Republican establishment. Last month, he declared a “season of war” against GOP lawmakers who oppose Trump.

“Right now it’s a season of war against the GOP establishment,” Bannon said at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, an annual conference of evangelical conservatives.

Running Cuban as a Democrat could be his way of shaking up both sides of the aisle.

“I think he has a lot of potential for 2020, assuming that the president doesn’t run for re-election,” Nunberg said.

I don't trust Bannon as far as i can throw him.He will do what ever he wants, just to show his true colors, and take control of the ship. He is playing both sides against each other instead of working together. We don't need another Rich and Greedy person in office, shades of Trump. What do y'all think of this? Good Deal or Bad?

NFL Commissioner Makes Jaw-Dropping Comment On Anthem Protests

Roger Goodell’s job is on the brink.

His regime as commissioner has been marred with several black eyes for the league, culminating in the anti-American anthem protests.

Goodell recently spoke about the protests, and his words were infuriating.

Goodell recognized that fans don’t watch football to be lectured with a political message. And yet, he does nothing about it.

From Breitbart:

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell tacitly acknowledged the damage done by the politicization of football in remarks delivered on Wednesday.

“People come to our stadiums to be entertained and have fun,” the commissioner noted, “not to be protested to.”

The remarks came as part of Bloomberg’s The Year Ahead Summit and reflect a recognition of a ratings decline and criticism from some sponsors. Though Goodell held that he hoped to learn from the concerns of players, he reiterated his desire that they stand for the national anthem.

“I think that’s one of the things I think when we have a platform the way we do, people seek to find that division and I think that’s something we try to resist,” Goodell explained of the protests. “And in this case I’ve been very clear about this — the anthem, the respect for our flag is very important. So, I want to see our players stand.”

Despite the league’s endorsement last month of federal legislation aimed at reforming federal prisons and sentencing, Goodell maintained that “politics is not something we do.”

Goodell is one of the few people on the planet who could actually do something about the NFL protests, but he seems to be paralyzed by fear.

Goodell’s role as commissioner is to be a steady hand. Instead, he’s shirked his responsibilities.

That inaction could cost him his job.

More from Breitbart:

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones seeks to stop the National Football League from extending the contract of Commissioner Roger Goodell. The New York Times and ESPN’s Outside the Lines both report Jones hiring superstar lawyer David Boies — attorney for the defendant in Bush v. Gore, for disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, and for, yes, Roger Goodell’s NFL — in an effort to block Goodell’s contract.

The Times reported that “Jones said in a conference call last Thursday with the six owners — those of the Chiefs, Falcons, Giants, Patriots, Steelers and Texans — that legal papers were drawn up and would be served this Friday if the committee did not scrap its plans to extend Goodell’s contract.” When he informed those members of the compensation committee of his plans to sue the league, they reportedly asked him stay out of their group’s meetings.

ESPN’s Outside the Lines reports that its sources say “four or five owners” stand with Jones in opposing Goodell’s extension. ESPN noted the existence of about a half-dozen “fence-sitters” beyond the definite “no” votes. Given that the commissioner requires two-thirds of the owners to approve his deal, his job appears in some jeopardy. Jones need only convince those fence-sitters of Goodell’s incompetence, a service Goodell himself periodically provides for his critics, to stop the extension and shop for a new [commissioner].

Many are the crimes of Goodell against Jones’s franchise: lowering the team’s salary cap as punishment for excessive spending in an uncapped season, suspending Ezekiel Elliott six games after the league’s investigator recommended no suspension, and blocking the team’s effort to honor slain Dallas cops with a decal all come to mind. But Goodell’s weakness against the anthem kneelers, rather than any offense against the Cowboys, that seems to primarily motivate Jerry Jones.

Jerry Jones is arguably the most influential owner in all of American professional sports. If Goodell has lost his support, it may be prudent for him to update his resume.

Unlike Goodell, the owners won’t sit idly by and watch their billion-dollar investments go down the drain because the commissioner is afraid to act.

I figure this, if y'all call yourselves an American, and want to be respected by Her, then you need to thank her for giving y'all a life that you want to live. Stop living in the past, and live for today. America is a proud and honorable country, as is our Military, those who fought for this country and it's people, and the troops who still are fighting. Our Flag"Old Glory "is a symbol of pride and dignity, and it should be respected.Take your protest home and not on our sports fields. As a Veteran and former US Navy Nurse from the Vietnam War,i want these rich asses and greedy players to pledge to the National Anthem, and stand tall for the place they call home.It is sad that a lot of folks have stopped watching our teams, but they are sick and tired of all this Crap!!!!!.

In a break with the Clinton-loving American establishment media, the UK’s Daily Mail recently detailed how Marc Elias, a Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer who launched what would become known as the anti-Trump “dirty dossier” denied involvement in the project for a year, even as reporters pressed him for information.
But a pair of New York Times reporters said Tuesday night on Twitter that Elias and others involved had lied about their ties to the arrangement.
“Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year,” Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted after The Washington Post linked the dossier to Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie.
Kenneth Vogel, another Times journalist, tweeted: 'When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying "You (or your sources) are wrong".'
This kind of lying has become par for the course in Washington, but it is especially prevalent about anything that involves the Clintons.
The Uranium One scandal that has broken wide open this week isn’t new – it goes back to 2010 – and the relationship between foreign government contributions to the Clinton Foundation, Bill Clinton’s speaking fees and policy-making by Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State were all detailed in Peter Schweizer's book “Clinton Cash.”
As our friend Matt Boyle put it in his 2016 coverage of Peter Schweizer’s appearance on ABC News’ This Week with George Stephanopoulosabc,
During the show’s roundtable panel after “Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer appeared for a lengthy interview, Stephanopoulos teamed with Democratic strategist Donna Brazile in an attempt to discredit Schweizer.
This, by the way, is the same Donna Brazile who lied about trying to tilt the Democratic primaries to Hillary Clinton and lied about feeding debate questions to the Clinton campaign.
Brazile admitted she hadn’t read “Clinton Cash.” Yet, without having read it, she proceeded to drop a series of rhetorical attacks on Schweizer. She also offered the Clinton campaign advice on how to attempt to get past Clinton Cash.
“You had a sitting Secretary of State [husband] who radically increased his speech fees and there is a whole series of dots on the wall now where people gave millions of dollars who oh, by the way, happened to get taken care of by the State Department. You raised a good standard.
“And of course, having been on the Watergate Committee, she knew exactly what to do. She erased 33,000 emails. Richard Nixon only erased 18 minutes. So, you’re going to have a prima facie case that any jury would look at…”
Stephanopoulos and Brazile flatly refused to countenance any notion that what Hillary and Bill Clinton did was not just potentially illegal or presented a prima fascia appearance of illegality; they refused to even accept that it was wrong for a government official to accept money from a foreign government.
To his great credit Gingrich continued to press the point. “My point is they took money from foreign governments while she was Secretary of State—that is clearly illegal,” Gingrich said. “This is not about politics. It’s illegal. It’s dangerous to America to have foreign governments get in the habit of bribing people who happen to be the husband of the Secretary of State or next president of the United States.”
“I think there’s a very simple case here—the Constitution says you can’t take this stuff, we have federal laws that say you can’t take this stuff,” Gingrich said. “If this was any person but Hillary Clinton, they’d be under indictment right now for a clearly straightforward problem.”
Fast forward to 2017, House Republicans announced on Tuesday that the House Oversight Committee will investigate how the Obama administration’s Justice Department handled the deal that gave Russia control over 20 percent of the U.S. uranium supply.
Parroting the same tactics Democrats used when these allegations surfaced in “Clinton Cash” back in 2016, Democrats today were quick to charge that the GOP-led probes were “designed to distract attention” from the various investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, including alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
The Uranium One deal took the cooperation of dozens of high-level Democratic appointees, the acquiescence of the FBI and various intelligence agencies, and then the active interference of the FBI and Obama Justice Department to cover up the bribery and pay-to-play by stopping the informant from testifying.
Now, as far as we can tell, as of today none of have come out publicly and said the conduct of Bill and Hillary Clinton documented by Peter Schweizer in “Clinton Cash,” and now apparently confirmed by an FBI informant is wrong, regardless of whether it proves to be illegal.
Democrats have become so corrupted by Hillary and Bill Clinton that the ability to speak for the truth and reject what Diana West calls “normalizing the abnormal” has died. Until Democrats rid themselves of the Clintons, and stop covering for them, the Democratic Party cannot be considered a legitimate political party; it is merely one cog in a vast conspiracy to justify and cover up the Clintons' crimes.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmm?

Children raised in fatherless homes, especially black children, are far more likely than children raised in two parent homes to engage in criminal behavior and thus, have contact with police.
When these football players father a child with a woman to whom they are not married - or at least living with - they are contributing to the problem against which these football players are taking a knee.

If you look at many of these players' records on out-of-wedlock children, you find that they are contributing significantly to the problem against which they are protesting.

For example,
Antonio Cromartie has 12 children by 9 different women. Apparently the NFL had to shell out $500,000 before he could even play football for them.
Travis Henry has 11 children by 10 women,
Willis McGahee has 9 children by 8 women,
Derrick Thomas has 7 children by 5 different women,
Bennie Blades has 6 children by 6 women,
Ray Lewis has 6 children by 4 women and
Marshall Faulk has 6 children by 4 women.

Before these guys take a knee they should take a good look in the mirror.
It appears that their problem is not the knee after all.

Hillary Heard Five Words That Means Prison Is Right Around The Corner

Hillary Clinton cannot run away from her scandalous past.

Every day more news breaks about her corrupt deals with the Russians that sold out America.

But now she just heard the five words that means prison is right around the corner.

Donald Trump is fed up with her skating through her scandals without being held accountable.

And he’s revving back up on his campaign promise to “lock her up.”

Clinton has been exposed for engaging in pay-for-play behavior regarding the sale of twenty percent of America’s uranium stock to the Russians, and for colluding with Moscow by paying for the fake news Christopher Steele “Trump-Russia” dossier.

So Trump took to Twitter and demanded the FBI and Justice Department investigate her because “the American public deserves it.”

With Clinton’s scandals – and evidence of wrong doing piling up – the American people are wondering why she isn’t being held accountable.

Do you agree that Hillary Clinton should be investigated?

An Entire Team Knelt For The Anthem And You Won’t Believe What Happened To Them

The NFL national anthem protests are out of control.

One team took the demonstrations to the next level.

And you won’t believe what happened to them.

The Houston Texans got in on the protest act.

All but ten players took a knee during the anthem before their game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Texans players were reacting to comments made by Texans owner Bob McNair who opposes the anti-American protests.

He was quoted as saying, “we can’t let in the inmates run the prison.”

The Texans players’ sense of political correctness overwhelmed their sense of reason to the point where a commonly used figure of speech morphed into a racist dog-whistle because social justice warriors in the NFL and social media have all lost their minds.

Players threw down the race card even though McNair quickly apologized and didn’t actually do anything wrong.

But patriotic fans – and those still maintaining their sense of reason – got the last laugh.

After the Texans threw their America-hating hissy fit during the anthem, they lost the game to the Seahawks 41-38.

Clarence Thomas Shut Down The National Anthem Protests With These Eight Words

The NFL national anthem protesters never saw this coming.

They were used to being coddled by their owners and praised by the liberal media.

But Clarence Thomas shut down their racist and anti-American protest with just eight words.

Thomas was being interviewed on Lauran Ingraham’s new Fox News program when he was asked about the protests.

He ripped the America-hating players and rhetorically asked, “What do we all have in common anymore?”

The Daily Caller reports:

“Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas appeared on Fox News for a rare television interview Wednesday night, where he expressed concern about societal cohesion in view of protests staged by professional athletes during the national anthem.

“What binds us? What do we all have in common anymore?” Thomas asked.

The justice suggested that the player protests erode public faith in symbols and shared commitments, exacerbating existing tensions along various social lines.

“When I was a kid, even as we had laws that held us apart there were things that we held dear that we all had in common,” he added. Thomas was born in Georgia’s coastal lowlands among Creolite gullah-speakers, and was raised by his grandparents in Jim Crow Savannah.”

“What do we all have in common anymore?” -Justice Clarence Thomas denounces national anthem protests (via ‘Ingraham Angle’) pic.twitter.com/TO4nTe1QQz

— FOX & friends (@foxandfriends) November 2, 2017

Thomas grew up in the Jim Crow south.

If anyone understands institutional racism and discrimination it’s Thomas and not millionaire athletes who have received every privilege society offers ever since their talent was identified.

Thomas was lamenting the fact that the anthem used to be a unifying event.

Both teams and their fans would all stand as one and honor America and those who made the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of us could enjoy the freedom this nation has to offer.

But that has been swept aside by petulant millionaire athletes who believe that a system where they want for nothing because of their ability to play a child’s game oppresses them.

So they kneel for the anthem and raise racist black power fists in the air.

Americans are disgusted.

Ratings are down.

Sponsors are furious.

And stadiums are empty on Sundays.

It’s all because these anti-American players refuse to show respect for what we all have in common in an effort to divide us through race-baiting tactics and anti-American language.

Do you agree?

Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

Whew: Republicans Will Not Grant DACA Amnesty With Spending Bill

While there is still an unseemly amount of enthusiasm among Republicans for some kind of amnesty deal for Obama’s Dreamers, conservatives can at least breathe a small sigh of limited relief – it doesn’t appear that such amnesty will be included in the upcoming must-pass December spending bill. There had been some talk – even among Republicans – about including the deal in the bill and getting it off the table entirely. Thankfully, that won’t be the case. That would have given Democrats an enormous amount of power and it’s unclear that it would have given national-security minded conservatives anything meaningful in return.

In an interview with Laura Ingraham last week, President Trump said he wasn’t interested in signing any amnesty bill that didn’t make a dent in legal immigration practices.

“I don’t think any Republican would vote for anything having to do with leaving chain migration in place,” he said. “Chain migration is a disaster for this country and it’s horrible.”

Chain migration has become the topic of the day, apparently, in Republican circles. When Sens. John Cornyn and David Perdue spoke to the press last week to announce that the spending bill would not include a permanent DACA amnesty clause, they too brought up the issue.

“This should be debated on its own merit,” said Perdue of Trump’s feelings about amnesty. “He also talked about that any solution to DACA has got to include ending chain migration and some features of border security, so that is a very tight window that he is laying out about what he will sign. So I’m very encouraged by that.”

Rep. Jim Jordan, the founding member of the Freedom Caucus, said he was pleased to see the GOP back away from the idea of including amnesty in the spending bill. “That’s great news,” he said. “We’ve got to do what the American people sent us to do on immigration, and I just don’t see that happening on the spending bill. Attaching DACA and something else to a spending bill – you don’t want to go there.”

Republicans, including Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are convinced they can extract something significant from Democrats in exchange for DACA amnesty.

In an interview with Hugh Hewitt over the weekend, McConnell said, “The Democrats desperately want DACA. Republicans are not necessarily opposed to that. The president has set it up in such a way that we have an incentive to act here because he’s given us six months to come up with a proposal.”

Here’s the thing. Amnesty does nothing but encourage more illegal immigration. We’ve been through this before – once in 1986 and once after Obama signed the original DACA order. This is not a lesson we need to learn over and over again, is it? So if we’re going to allow these Dreamers to stay in this country, we need to make sure Democrats are paying an extraordinarily steep price for it. Republicans need to go to the mat for American citizens with every bit the same vigor as Democrats are going to go for non-citizens.

They can damn well be sure that voters are watching.
