Texas has always been Red, however since folks from California & New York have been moving to Texas lately to escape the political economic & social incompetence in those states they are bringing their BLUE values with them.
Are they so blind that they are now trying to destroy the very state, Texas, that they admired enough to uproot their families?
I'm from NYC, & believe me our progressive Mayor DeBlasio is a nightmare. If I moved to Texas it would be to escape the ultra liberal progressive NYC agenda.

The truth is that women who cannot afford to raise a child will find a way to abort a pregnancy. Years ago women took a drug called thalidomide to help with pregnancy. It turned out that the drug caused horrible birth defects.
Women had to go to Europe for an abortion if they wanted to end the pregnancy. My point, women will find a way to have an abortion.
There have been cheap, back alley abortions that were dangerous. We are not living in the Middle Ages, but there is no getting away from the fact that abortion is murder. The fetus is not given the right to speak for her/himself and say, "I want to live." The states should decide the abortion issue. We can name several states easily that will allow abortions. And orher more evangelical states will vote for No abortions.
But as a country we can find that middle ground. At the end of the day the woman will answer to her God.
I feel bad for a man involved with a woman who aborts his child against his will. Does a man have no say in this murder of his child?
I wonder how many men on this site have heard of this twist on abortion?

South America had the same opportunity to be as Great as its northern neighbor, United States.
We were "discovered " at the same time.
The one difference was in our early leadership: our Founding Fathers. We were truly blessed to have such genius at work writing our new laws.
These were White men of the Enlightenment.
Our Southern invaders were not as fortunate. Their Southern countries each remained separate country. They did not have such talented & educated men to lead them.
Today 2018 is a different story. These neighbors and Democrats call our Founding Fathers "dead white men." They were oppressive of everyone.
Trump is racist. Anyone who is white & successful ia racist, but everyone wants to come to North America, land of the White Man! The only place left on earth that is free & safe.

To Lonewolf: I'm female & Catholic, & I totally agree with you. Abortion should never have been brought before the Supreme Court. Abortion is a state's rights issue. Abortion is as old prostitution, but in the past it was very dangerous. Modern medical abortions helped desperate women. There must always be a safe place for limited term abortions, but not all states need to supply such places. Just as we are Red & Blue in this country, there will be abortion states & non abortion states.
Just like legalized gambling or legalized marijuana, or legalized euthanasia.
One note: too many women use abortion as a form of birth control. I'm not judging, but that's not healthy birth control.
Ideally, we should live & work in the state that is the best fit for us.
I would not have an abortion, but I would not take away another women's right to have one, and I would also not take away states rights.

The left is worried that Kavanaugh might show some bias. Ha! Ruth Bader Ginsberg actually spoke aloud about her distaste for Trump the Republican nominee. And if you happened to see the front page photo in Tuesday's WSJ of the swearing in of Kavanaugh, you'll never see a more unhappy & biased looking face than Ginsberg. She should remove herself immediately. She is full of hate, probably weary of the workload and knows she will never win another ruling to ruin America.
