Your dead wrong, I do not have a party! I look around and states with republican governors are doing better than those controlled by democrats.

Seriously, you need to come out of your "Republican bubble" and start learning which states are governed by Republicans and which ones by Democrats because the poorest state in the union is Mississippi where Republican Phil Bryant is the governor. The poverty line is 22%, and the average income is $37,095. Experts say if MS was an individual country it would be a Third World.

The richest state in the union is Maryland where Democrat Martin O'Malley is governor and the median income is $71,221, almost twice that of MS, and the poverty level is 10%. Now, which state would you want to live in?

If you are referring to the blue states sending money to the red states, yes they are really stupid. If they stopped the red states would have to start taxing the rich or go bankrupt, and you really should give those blue states more respect.

Your party is Robin Hood in reverse, taking from the poor and giving to the rich. Seriously, you think $10 thousand is more than $1 million, now that is really "stupid on steroids".

Facts are facts. People are being lied to, and it is easy to lie to them when you keep them uneducated, poor and dependent. I have lived in red and blue states, and I would take Massachusetts over Missouri any day. I could not get over the stupidity, or maybe just ignorance. Maybe it's just me, since growing up in Boston I had access to some of the best schools in the nation, but most people I met down south lacked even basic knowledge. Most even believed that Earth is only 6k years old despite all evidence and facts stating otherwise.

Right on! You know you're in a blue state when you are giving welfare to the red states because they are taxing the poor and giving tax breaks to the rich. Then the red states expect a government handout, but the poor people who need food stamps will have them cut. That is why the blue states should cut their funding to the red states -- and watch them figure out a way to survive.

Oh, Shut up about Pres. Bush, will you? Those lies have been debunked so many times even you should have read about it. Besides, the problem is Obama, not Pres. Bush. I'd like to see happy faces again--not the scared, worried faces I've witnessed the last 5 years.

Ouch, you are really outraged. Why? Because Bush was a "war criminal" or because 4,486 men and women died because of his lie about WMD? So far no one had died because of Obama's "lie", but they will under the GOP governors who refused to let their constitutents have healthcare. They must be playing God.

Okay, since you think President Obama is the only politician who has lied, I will prove you otherwise. I will post about today's GOP governors and administrators who tell lies about women's bodies. Yep, GOP governors who have absolutely no medical training, no training in gynecology are more than happy to justify their rights to control women's bodies against their will and tell lies about them.

Birth control causes prostate cancer, this is for real, NH state Rep. Jeanine Notter knows everything she needs to know about birth control causing prostate cancer. Medical doctors say otherwise.

NH House passed a bill requiring doctor's to lie to their female patients saying abortions cause breast cancer. Medical doctor's say otherwise.

Rick Santorum says birth control is a sex pill, saying it encourages bad kind of sex. Now, what kind of sex is bad, and why would a man complain about an oversexed woman?

All politicans tell lies, you can tell when their mouths are moving, but your GOP governors are working overtime.

You know you can write so much in your posts, and say so little, once one filters out all the bullsh*t.

We do not commit suicide, we retaliate. Seriously, you are defending a group of people, know as the GOP, whose sole purpose is destroying other people's rights, but that is your perogative. Even Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts main agenda was to destroy people's civil rights after being nominated by George W. Bush.

Where is "W"? He is in Dallas doing just that. He is trying to convert Jews to Christians to encourage the second coming of Chirst. This, BTW, has the Jewish Communities outraged.

We have a document in the country know as the Constitution, the 1st Amendment is the freedom of religion and the rightwinged Christian religion should be out of our politics, it is destroying our rights. We are fighting this in the SCOTUS and the rightwings are crying we deserve to take over America. NOT ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION.

When dumb people vote, poverty and ignorance happens. That is what the Republicans are rooting for, "do not raise the minimum wage" equals more poverty, "cut billions from education" equals ignorance.

Turns out--Bill was barry's mentor when it comes to lying.
Did you by any chance scroll down to the Michael Moore Twitter quote? What a Boor!

So, Bill Clinton is "Barry" Obama's lying mentor, who was Bush's? Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, or their legal team, John Yoo, Alberto Gonzoles, William Haynes, Jay Bybee, or David Addington? All of whom were tried in Malaysia in absentia. Yep, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their legal advisors are "war criminals". None of those people can leave the United States of America for fear of being arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned for torturing victims who suffered at the hands of US soldiers and contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Seriously, we went to war over WMD's that did not exist and 4,486 American's died and you are calling President Obama and President Clinton liars. It is true that Clinton should not have said what he did because it making it harder for the WH. Those insurance policies were cancelled, by the insurance companies, because they were "junk policies" and were "sub-par" to the ACA. If any of the people tried to use them they would have been cancelled. They were a way for health insurance companies to become richer, and I know Republican's support that. The hell with the 45,000 people dying every year because they do not have health insurance.

Now, the House Republicans want to write a bill that will allow those people to keep their policies no matter how "crappy" they are just to prove a point. Just like Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, they do not care about people who are dying.

What is even more over-whelming is that over 600,000 veterans live in the GOP controlled states that are refusing to accept the ACA. And just like Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, the are "devoid of a soul". Send American's off to war to "fight for our freedoms" and when they return home they become "cellophane people." That, in itself, should be a crime.

Those "death panels" that I hear so much about are actually the GOP governors who are telling their constitutents that they can't have medical insurance and they have to face the possiblity that they will have to die because they can't have a doctor's care.

Your typical B.S. posting...blah, blah, blah...

Christie is a liberal left-wing moderate Republican! Period! As usual, you're full of crap.

Hey, you called this topic "Chris Christie Circus" and what can get more bizarre than what I just posted? Besides, I love dumping "liberal crap" on your feet.

Look, Christie has not left the Republican party and joined the Democrats, so he is not that "left-winged". Montana's former Republican Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger did. He says that most of the Montana Republicans, who consider themselves "moderate" are becoming either Independents or Democrats. I keep hearing that the Republican party will be "done for" within 20 years, I just didn't know they would be joining us.

Even more puzzling facts about the New Jersey voters, they viewed Christie favorable 64% - 33%, and at the same time they viewed GOP negatively 39% - 57%. They approved of Obama's job performance 51% - 49% and would vote for Hillary Clinton 44% - 34%. If you ever learn why or how Christie won as NJ's governor for a second term, just let me know.

So, you are going to cling to the Tea Party, uh? They did lose big during the 2013 elections, Steve Lonegan lost the bid for NJ's U.S. Senate. Ken Cuccinelli lost his run for governor of VA, and E.W. Jackson lost a bid for VA's Lt. Gov. And Dean Young lost a seat when he ran against a Republican for AL's 1st District.

Everytime I see E.W. Jackson he makes the hairs on my neck stand up, he just gives the creeps. When he first came on the scene the GOP thought they had a Conservative version of Obama. That is seriously "stuck on stupid".

Seriously, it seems that you are voting for losers, and anyone who would vote to take down the United States economy $24 billion and cause the loss of 800,000 jobs can not care that much for this country. I have a list of 37 Republicans who could lose the seats because of the government shutdown and Darrell Issa and Paul Ryan are 2 of them.

Oh, I just love it. Just keep on believing what you do. I know that only 23% of the House GOPer's want more women in Congress and in the 113th Congress they only have 19, and only 4 in the Senate. However, the Democrats have 62 women in Congress and 16 in the Senate.

I know that the rightwing Christians do not believe women need to know anything about government, in fact they are known to carry their wives around the house just to show them who is boss. Yep, in the 21st Century, there men who still think that women belong in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.

Hillary Clinton was excellent in all areas, as a matter of fact, those New Jersey Democrats who voted for Chris Christie will vote for Hillary Clinton.

The inevitable speculation regarding Chris Christi... (show quote)

Chris Christie is no "left-wing moderate", he is for everything Democrats are against. That is why we can't believe that he won Dems by 32%. There is really something very "malodorous" in New Jersey.

When Christie ran for his first term he ran on jobs, jobs, jobs and reducing the property tax. He raised the property taxes to the highest in the nation, the unemployment rate is 8.5%, he is anti-union, gave tax breaks for corporations/wealthy, taxed the poor, killed infrastructure projects that would have created thousands of jobs, cut education by $6 billion, laid off 15,000 teachers, closed schools, against gay marriage, cut women's health care, and is pro-life.

Chris Christie endorsed Tea Partier Steven Lonegan for the U.S. Senate, so he is no "left-wing moderate". In fact, he is one of the most dangerous politicians there is. He governs by "fear and loathing" and does the opposite of what he says he will do. He loves screaming at women, especially teachers, so no one can understand how he won women by 57%.

And even though Christie won a second term in NJ, there is a warning for the GOP, voters age 18-29 voted for Barbara Buono. The future of America is liberal, anti-gun, pro-choice, the most diverse generation in our history, Asians, Hispanics, inter-racial, and blacks. They see people for themselves, not the color of their skin or their life style.

One thing that Christie hasn't started doing is wielding his "vaginal ultrasound probe" or hanging out his "ban on birth control" sign. That was one of the reasons Ken Cuccinelli lost, not only did Cuccinelli want to change Virginia's sex lives he wanted to ban birth control, and Christie stayed away from Virginia.

One thing no one seems to be talking about is what happened to the $60 billion that Chris Christie received from the Federal government for Sandy Aid. It seems that $36.6 billion of it went to the people who are trying to rebuild their homes, but $24 billion is missing in action. No one seems to know where it went, and there will be an investigation.

You are ignoring the fact that every time the minimum wage increases, so do consumer prices. It may take three or four months, and it is a gradual thing, so it is not as noticeable, but within a few months of a minimum wage increase, minimum wage earners are effectively no better off, and the majority of wage earners who make more than minimum wage are worse off, because they did not get a pay ralse. These are the people with disposable income, not entry level minimum wage earners. What then? Raise minimum again, another round of consumer price increases, and once again, the average worker who makes more than minimum is screwed again, for what amounts to only a temporary fix for the lower wage people. When I was in a management position, minimum (which none of my staff made) went up. So did the cost of living. I got part of my staff a small increase in their pay, but less per hour than the minimum went up, so my people, who made more than minimum, saw their buying power decrease. The owners would not go for a wage increase for my staff of around two bucks an hour. So my guys, who made much more than minimum due to their initiative, skill, and experience, get screwed so unskilled labor can benefit.

Higher starting mean less NEW jobs and there's nowhere near enough jobs created now.

Stop with the poverty, that's bull. Flat screen, cellphone and 3 year old car is not poverty. Most poverty is created by poor choices, take responsibility!

Bill Clinton raised the minimum wage from $4.75 to $5.25 in 1996. The Republicans said it was going to cause job loss and 23 million jobs were created. No one laid off employees and no one cut back on the number of employees.

George W. Bush raised the minimum wage from $5.25 to $7.25 in 2007.

Who do you know with a flat screen TV, cellphone bill, a 3 year old car, mortage, utility bills, credit card bills and grocery bills earning $15,000? That is $7.25 and hour.

The poverty line for a family of 4 is $23,283, seriously they must be living in a tent in someone's back yard.

COSTCO is doing just fine and they pay their employees $11.50 to start and if someone stays 3 years they can earn $20.00 and hour or $40,000 a year for just being a cashier.

You are "stuck on stupid" if you believe poverty is a choice, no one chooses to live in squaller. That is probably your GOP governors excuses for not doing anything about it. Just keep taxing the poor and giving tax cuts to the rich, that does not improve poverty either.

How is Washington Still Not Talking About Poverty?
http://readersupportednews.org/opinion2/287-124/20353-how-is-washington-still-not-talking-about-poverty

The solution for poverty is a good education and livable wages. Anything less equals more poverty.

Harry Reid may soon introduce legislation to hike the minimum wage. This is a terrible piece of legislation that will do nothing to end America’s recession.

Economists agree: if you raise the price of something, you get less of it. That’s Economics 101.

Progressives say a minimum wage hike will help the poor, but in fact it will do the exact opposite. The minimum wage effectively outlaws those jobs that act as a foot-in-the-door for low-skilled workers.

If you think the unemployment rate is bad now, it will climb even higher if the minimum wage goes up.

Harry Reid wants to bring a minimum wage bill to a vote soon. Supporters of economic freedom and limited government should be opposed to this legislation.
Harry Reid may soon introduce legislation to hike ... (show quote)

Raising the minimum wage has never caused job loss, that is just a figment of your imagination and that is what your governors say to let the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. They just love poverty, it is the badge of honor.

Hiking the minimum wage a terrible piece of legislation? That way of thinking is the same as your GOP governors, it equals poverty. How many times have I posted articles about the poverty in Red States, the states that have the "right to work" laws. They are the "right to work for less" laws. More money for the big rich corporations and less for the workers and that is a pathway to indigence.

Those big wealthy corporations would not have their riches if is wasn't for their workers and consumers. When Walmart was popping up all over the country the stores close to them went out of business. Why? Because, the consumers left and started shopping at Walmart. If Walmart's consumers left them and started shopping at Target -- poof, no more Walmart. It really doesn't take a lot to put a big corporation out of business. Just stop buying their products.

Chris Christie turned down a minimum wage increase in NJ, but the Democrats took it to the voters and increased the minimum wage to $8.25. And that is not enough to get people off of SNAP and other government subsidies.

It is the right who complains bitterly about people being on SNAP and complains that they should be working, the problem is they are working. They are the working poor and 80% of them are on food stamps including Walmart employees and other fastfood employees. McDonald even encourages their employees to get food stamps as does Walmart. So, we the taxpayer are paying for Walmart's and McDonald's employees meals. And that is just not right.

With everyone working and earning a livable wage they can purchase more and the rich corporations can enjoy more profits.

SeaTac, WA voted to raise their minimum wage to $15.00 with just about every Conservative billionaire fighting against it. When you fight against higher wages, you fight for poverty. It really is pitiful when you have millionaires and billionaires fighting against people earning a livable wage. They have absolutely no problem with buying items they need, so why should the American worker?
