On Apr. 17, 2024, Iran’s president said Iran would completely destroy Israel if Israel proceeds with even the tiniest invasion of Iran.

A few hours later, Germany’s Foreign Minister tried to persuade Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu not to retaliate against Iran for attacking Israel with hundreds of drones and missiles.

Netanyahu said,

Israel will do whatever it needs to defend itself.
I appreciate the advice, but I want to be clear: Our decisions we will make ourselves.
I admire Netanyahu for what he has done and said, but according to Bible prophecy, Israel will not do the most important thing it needs to do (accept Jesus as their Messiah) for at least 7 more years.

Here is a short list of Bible prophecies about Israel.

Israel had to become a nation in one day before she travailed (before the Tribulation Period; Isa. 66:5-9).
Israel cannot be destroyed again (Israel’s enemies need to pay attention: Amos 9:15).
Israel must complete 490 years (70 weeks of years, including the 7-year Tribulation Period) before the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah (Dan. 9:24-27).
The 7-year (2,520 days on the Jewish calendar) Tribulation Period will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant with many for one week of years (Dan. 9:27).
God will make Jerusalem a problem for the entire world during the Tribulation Period (Zech. 12:2-3). He will defend Jerusalem and destroy every nation that attacks her (Zech. 12:6-9; 14:12).
God will pour out His Spirit on Israel at the end of the 7-year Tribulation Period, Israel will accept Jesus as their Messiah (Jer. 23:5-8; Ezek. 36:24-28; Zech 12:10-14), He will come back, and all Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:26).
Israel needs to understand that she cannot defend herself, but God can, and Israel’s troubles will continue until the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah (and they will).

Here are some events that appear to indicate that we are close to the end of the age.

One, concerning God’s protection of Israel and Iran’s attack on Israel: Rabbi Meir Lau (Rabbi of Tel Aviv) said, “God did us a great favor that 99% of all the UAVs were destroyed without harming us. There was only some damage to places and no harm to people. This whole story was a great miracle, but we still have not appreciated its magnitude. We experienced God’s true protection and this connection with the superpowers and our neighbors, as well as other details that are confidential, all I can say is that this was a great divine miracle.”

Two, on Apr. 22, 2024 (Passover day in Israel), two armed terrorists drove a car into pedestrians in Jerusalem (slightly wounding 3); they emerged from their vehicle trying to fire makeshift submachine guns at their victims and others, but their weapons failed, and they ran to escape. They were spotted by a police helicopter and arrested.

Officials called the minor injuries and failed guns a “Passover Miracle.”

Three, concerning the Israel-Hamas war: on Apr. 17, 2024, Israel said, “IAF planes conducted airstrikes against terrorists and terror infrastructure (in northern Gaza), hitting more than 40 targets over the past day, including underground launching posts, booby-trapped structures, military structures where armed terrorists operated, observation posts, underground terrorist infrastructure, and additional terrorist infrastructure.”

Israel also struck several targets in Rafah.

Four, concerning inflation, the decline of America, and the emptying of America’s strategic oil reserves: on Apr. 19, 2024, the Department of the Interior announced that it will prohibit any new oil drilling project in the U.S. Arctic Ocean as well as on 11 million acres of Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve and nearly 3 million acres of Alaska’s coastal waters.

Five, concerning a borderless world and illegal immigration: on Apr. 19, 2024, it was reported that illegal immigrants in New York complained that the amount of (free) food they get, their housing, (free) services, and other benefits they are getting are not enough and that this is unacceptable.

Six, concerning corruption in Washington and the belief by many that we can no longer trust the elections: I cannot count the times I have heard someone say that they do not believe the globalists will let Trump win the next election even if it becomes necessary to assassinate him.

I hope it is not true, but on Apr. 19, 2024, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives proposed legislation to strip Pres. Trump of his Secret Service protection if he is convicted and sentenced for a felony.

Seven, concerning Biden’s efforts to force Netanyahu and Israel to obey him: on Apr. 21, 2024, it was reported that U.S. officials have confirmed that Biden intends to impose sanctions on an Israeli military unit on the West Bank of Israel (Judea and Samaria) for violating the rights of Palestinians.

Netanyahu said, “At a time when our soldiers are fighting terrorist monsters, the intention to sanction a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low.”

Eight, concerning America’s unstainable national debt and the economic collapse of the U.S.: on Apr. 3, 2024, it was reported that the White House intends to use funds appropriated to advance America’s national interest (democracy, freedom freedom of speech, free market values, etc.) to train at least 200 LGBTQ+ activists to spread transgenderism in India.

Nine, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age: on Apr. 22, 2024, a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said military spending is soaring across the globe and it reached an all-time high in 2023.

Ten, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Apr. 23, 2024, Iran vowed to annihilate Israel if it launches a major attack on Iranian territory.

Iran’s Pres. Raisi said there will be nothing left of the Zionist regime (Israel).

Eleven, concerning hatred for Israel at the end of the age: on Apr. 22, 2024, U.S. Senators Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton asked Pres. Biden to mobilize the National Guard to protect Jewish students on college campuses.

Hawley sent a letter to Biden that said:

“On college campuses across the United States, Jewish Americans are at risk. … In your statement on Passover, you stated that “in recent days, we’ve seen harassment and calls for violence against Jews. This blatant antisemitism is reprehensible and dangerous — and it has absolutely no place on college campuses, or anywhere in our country.’ Now you must take action to match those words.”

Thursday, Apr. 18, 2024 (Day 195): The one-hundred-fortieth day of the resumed war.

It is being rumored that the U.S. will impose severe sanctions on Iran for attacking Israel, approve Israel’s actions on Rafah in the south and Hezbollah in the north, and transfer financial aid to Israel, if Israel will not retaliate against Iran.
The U.S. vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that would open the door for Palestine to become a state in the UN.
Israel used missiles to launch a limited strike near an airport and a major military base next to Iran’s nuclear reactor. There were simultaneous explosions in Iran, Iraq, and Syria.
Israel killed a senior Hamas intelligence official.
Israel captured several terrorists that were hiding in a school in Gaza.
Friday, Apr. 19, 2024 (Day 196): The one hundred-forty-first day of the resumed war.

Iran played down Israel’s strike on the previous day and signaled that it will not retaliate.
Israel’s strike on Iran accomplished what Israel set out to do – destroy the Russian anti-aircraft system that was installed to defend Iran’s nearby nuclear facility.
S. officials confirmed that Israel attacked a terrorist base in Iraq (base destroyed, one terrorist killed, 8 terrorists injured).
Saturday, Apr. 20, 2024 (Day 197): The one hundred-forty-second day of the resumed war.

Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan urged Palestinian Arabs to unite against Israel.
Sunday, Apr. 21, 2024 (Day 198): The one hundred-forty-third day of the resumed war.

Israel indicted the sister of Hamas’ top leader Ishmail Haniyeh on charges of inciting Muslims to kill Jews.
Netanyahu said he will fight sanctions the U.S. imposes on the Israeli military unit on the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).
Netanyahu said Israel will inflict painful blows on Hamas in the coming days to free the remaining hostages. He compared Hamas to Pharaoh, “It hardens its heart and refuses to let our people go; therefore, we will bring it more painful blows—and it will happen soon.”

Israel struck 3 villages in Lebanon, and Hezbollah fired about 35 rockets into Israel.
An independent Palestinian news anchor reported that Hamas deliberately killed numerous aid workers and stole shipments of food sent to Palestinians because Hamas wanted to be the only entity in Gaza in control of the warehousing and distribution of food.
Tuesday, Apr. 23, 2024 (Day 200): The one hundred-forty-fifth day of the resumed war.

Israeli intelligence learned that Hamas was loading several launchers in Gaza to fire rockets into Israel. Israeli jets struck the launchers before the rockets were fired.
Hamas urged Israel’s enemies to attack Israel on all fronts.
Wednesday, Apr. 24, 2024 (Day 201): The one hundred-forty-sixth day of the resumed war.

Per Biden’s demands to protect Palestinians, Israel will evacuate about 1.4 million civilians from Rafah in preparation for an attack starting about 3 weeks from now (Israel estimates that it will take about 3 weeks to eliminate Hamas in Rafah).
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Alarge autistic Florida teenager who violently beat his teacher's aid unconscious over a video game was reportedly a "ticking time bomb," the boy's attorneys said in a petition filed against the student's school earlier this week.

Brendan Depa's legal team blamed the Flagler County School District for not meeting the boy's needs before the attack, which took place in February 2023, according to the New York Post. The brutal attack left paraprofessional Joan Naydich with five broken ribs, a severe concussion, and hearing loss.

As a consequence, Depa now faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading no contest to the beatdown that was caught on camera inside the school building. However, the boy's attorneys claim that the incident only happened because the district committed a series of violations resulting in "significant harm" to the teen.

“The district should be held to account for its failures which have forever changed the trajectory of this young man’s life,” the petition states, which was obtained by Flagler Live.

Not only did the attorneys blame the school district, but they also suggested that Naydich asked for her own beating after she reprimanded Depa in front of his classmates. She proceeded to threaten to take away his Nintendo Switch that ultimately turned into a verbal fight.

Afterward, Depa spit on Naydich. The paraprofessional left the classroom to report him for assault, prompting him to follow her and launch the horrific attack.

“The school did not seem to have any control over B.D. and B.D. was allowed to do whatever he wanted with little to no intervention or consequences,” the petition stated, adding that the school had a responsibility to intervene.

“To allow B.D. to continue to escalate only led to the incident where the paraprofessional was harmed and B.D. was arrested,” the petition went on.

“Had these issues been addressed in real time, B.D. would not have harmed the paraprofessional and would not have been arrested and facing significant time incarcerated.”

“B.D. was a ticking time bomb,” the petition added.

Depa's legal team — who also said the teen failed to receive education while he was behind bars — is requesting "compensatory education" and payment for his admittance into a behavioral therapeutic school for students with disorders.

Depa is set to appear in court on Wednesday for sentencing.

Communists Betray Workers, Teachers Unions Betray Students, Civil Rights Organizations Betray Blacks -

The modus operandi of every left-wing group everywhere.

The Communist Party of the Soviet Union — like most communist parties — came to power as the great defender of workers.

In reality, the Soviet Communist Party didn’t give a hoot about Russian workers. The party was nothing more than a totalitarian organization that used workers to gain power — and then suppressed the proletariat, just as it suppressed every other group. One of the first things the Communist Party did after attaining power was disband independent labor unions and prohibit workers’ strikes. Yes, the “workers’ party” banned strikes.

The one major exception was the Chinese Communist Party, which came to power as the great defender of peasants. And the CCP slaughtered about 60 million of them.

This has been the modus operandi of every left-wing group everywhere: Claim concern for some group, and use that group to fool people — specifically, naive liberals, who share few values with the Left but have frequently served as useful idiots for the Left. Liberals do so to this day.

Teachers Unions

Teachers unions are nothing more than left-wing groups that use alleged concern for students to attain and retain power. The reality, however, is while they care about teachers, they harm students far more than they help them.

One example is teachers unions’ opposition to school choice. Those who actually care about students support the right of parents to choose their children’s schools — just as many teachers do when they send their own children to schools of their choice.

A second example is teachers unions’ making it nearly impossible to fire incompetent teachers.

A third example was teachers unions’ demands that schools lock down for nearly two years during the COVID-19 era. The unions did so despite there being no scientific evidence in support of school lockdowns and despite ample warnings that many children would suffer intellectually, scholastically, emotionally and psychologically.

Moreover, wrote John H. Cochrane of the Hoover Institution in the Wall Street Journal, “When schools went remote, parents found out what was actually going on inside the classrooms. Teachers were coaching students to hate themselves, their country and their religious traditions and sexualizing young children.”

The last point brings us to a fourth example: Teachers rob young students of their sexual innocence with premature talk of, and books that deal with, overt sexual activity, and the infamous use of drag queens to perform in front of children as young as 6 years old.

Just how left-wing teachers organizations are was made clear by the sympathetic left-wing magazine The Nation in January:

“A rank-and-file campaign inside the National Education Association is demanding the president stop ‘sending military funding, equipment, and intelligence to Israel.’ … But the rank-and-file campaign goes beyond (that). … Members want the NEA (National Education Association) to revoke its endorsement of Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential race until the president … stops ‘sending military funding, equipment, and intelligence to Israel.'”

That was only two months after Oct. 7.

Civil Rights Organizations

Most civil rights organizations are also essentially left-wing groups. They use alleged concern for blacks to attain and retain power, but they harm blacks considerably more than they help them.

A glaring example is the near-universal opposition of civil rights groups to school choice despite the fact that black Americans overwhelmingly support it. According to a 2023 RealClear Opinion Research poll, 73% of blacks support school choice — two points more than whites. They do so because large majorities of black students in public schools perform far below grade-level standards.

The reason the largest civil rights organization, the NAACP, opposes school choice has nothing to do with concern for blacks. It is that the left-wing position — again, the NAACP is a left-wing organization — on school choice is dictated by teachers unions.

Other civil rights organizations’ positions that harm blacks include labeling as “racist” the most effective solution to racism: widespread colorblindness; supporting separate dorms and graduations for black college students; and support for lowering academic and professional standards to facilitate black advancement.

Feminist Organizations

Feminist organizations are additional examples of essentially left-wing organizations. The group they use to attain and retain power is women. Just as other left-wing interest groups, they harm the group on whose behalf they allegedly fight — in this case, women — far more than they help them.

The most obvious example is the support of major feminist organizations for men who say they are women participating in women’s sports.

“The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) unequivocally supports the inclusion of trans women in women’s sports. And if you call yourself a feminist, you should too.”

From the website of The Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF):

“The Women’s Sports Foundation supports the right of all athletes, including transgender athletes, to participate in athletic competition. …”

In 2022, the WSF wrote a letter to the NCAA protesting any diminution of the right of biological males who say they are females to participate in women’s athletics. The letter was cosigned, as expected, by LGBTQIA+ organizations but also by two major feminist organizations in addition to the Women’s Sports Federation: the National Organization for Women and the National Women’s Political Caucus.

Damaging women has been the primary legacy of organized feminism for the last half-century. That there are more depressed women, especially young women, today than at any other time in modern American history is directly attributable to left-wing influence generally (no religion, no country, no future) and to feminist doctrines specifically: Career is more important than marriage and family, and women can do just fine without a man to love and be loved by.

LGBTQIA+ Organizations

Perhaps the ultimate example of left-wing contempt for the groups they claim to represent is “Queers for Palestine.” Palestinian queers have no rights; they face persecution and even death if they expose themselves to their society. Israeli queers are by far the safest, happiest and freest in the Middle East. But hating Israel is the left-wing position. At any cost.

Most of this is off the web but I am including some of my thoughts too at the end.

Classical liberalism is a political ideology that emerged in the 17th and 18th centuries, rooted in the work of philosophers like John Locke and Adam Smith. It emphasizes individual freedom, limited government, the rule of law, and the belief in free market economics. The core idea is that individuals should be free to pursue their own interests as long as they do not harm others, with the state's role primarily to protect those freedoms and maintain order through a legal framework.

Over the past 100 years, liberalism has experienced significant transformations, adapting to changing social, economic, and political contexts across the globe. This period saw the emergence of social liberalism, which modifies classical liberalism's strict laissez-faire stance, advocating for a more active role of the state in addressing social injustices and providing a safety net for the less fortunate. This shift has been partly in response to the challenges of industrialization, the Great Depression, world wars, and the evolving needs of modern societies.

The 20th century further complicated the political landscape with the advent of neoliberalism in the late 20th century, which, despite its name, diverges from classical liberalism's foundational principles in several ways. Neoliberalism calls for deregulation, privatization, and a reduction in government spending, emphasizing the efficiency of the free market while often sidelining concerns about social equity and environmental sustainability.

Moreover, liberalism today is confronted with new challenges such as globalization, technological changes, and a resurgence of nationalist and populist movements. These developments have sparked debates within liberal thought about issues ranging from global governance and climate change to the role of technology in democracy and privacy.

While classical liberalism laid the groundwork with its emphasis on individual liberty and minimal state intervention, the past 100 years have seen liberalism evolve to incorporate a broader concern for social welfare, equality, and addressing complex global issues, reflecting the dynamic nature of political ideologies in responding to the changing realities of the world.


Here are my thoughts.
Today’s liberals tend to embrace a very secular approach to politics and social issues. They completely ignore spiritual beliefs and if they do address spiritual issues they make sure to demean or relegate them to a corner. Today’s liberals are subject to embrace the most absurd ideologues like transgender rights. Any discussion seems to end up with them asking a lot of questions framed in accusations.
They are like spoiled children having to get their way.
Today’s liberals in general have drifted so far to the left that actual conversations are almost impossible.

My long-standing commitment is to “the value of human life”, “the criminalization of war” , “peaceful co-existence” between nation states and “the future of humanity” which is currently threatened by nuclear war.

The World is at a Dangerous Crossroads. We are no longer dealing with a hypothetical scenario.
