Trump’s Revenge: Break Up The 9th Circuit Court!?

The Horn News ~ Feb 10, 2017

Democrats are celebrating a victory over President Donald Trump after the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled unanimously to uphold a lower court ruling suspending the president’s travel ban’s enforcement.

But it’s Trump that could get the last laugh. There’s an effort by conservative lawmakers — led by a vocal Trump rival — to permanently break apart the liberal court.

It’s been in the works for over a month… and it’s led by Arizona Sen. John McCain.

The federal appeals court has long been ridiculed by conservatives as the “nutty 9th” or the “9th Circus.”

No one familiar with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals should be surprised at today’s ruling. The 9th Circuit has a well-earned reputation for being presumptively reversible,” South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy said.

According to The Daily Caller, over 80% of the appeal court’s rulings have been overturned when challenged in front of the Supreme Court.

Covering a huge swath of territory — nine western states plus Guam — the San Francisco-based court handles far more cases than any other federal appeals court, including some rulings that have invoked furor from conservatives over the years. Among them: finding that the phrase “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional and ruling that states can force Christian pharmacies to sell abortion pills.

Now, “a Republican push to split up the controversial court — and shrink its clout — is gaining steam on Capitol Hill,” Fox News reported Thursday. “Republican Sens. Jeff Flake and John McCain of Arizona introduced legislation last month to carve six states out of the San Francisco-based court circuit and create a brand new 12th Circuit. They argue that the 9th is too big, too liberal and too slow resolving cases. If they succeed, only California, Oregon, Hawaii and two island districts would remain in the 9th’s judicial fiefdom.”

This isn’t the only such bill aimed to take down the “nutty” 9th, either.

A House version previously introduced by Reps. Andy Biggs and four other Arizona Republican representatives would leave Washington in the 9th Circuit.

In a news release, Biggs said his aim was “to free Arizona from the burdensome and undue influence of the 9th Circuit Court.”

“As a promise to my constituents last year, I introduced this bill to protect Arizona from a federal circuit court that does not reflect the values nor laws of our state,” he said. “The Ninth Circuit cannot handle the number of states currently entrapped within its jurisdiction, causing access to justice to be delayed.”

ANTHEM, AZ - Two Valley administrators have been suspended after their video parodying President Donald Trump went viral.

The January video features Boulder Creek High School Principal Lauren Sheehan and Vice Principal Jay Kopas as President Donald Trump and Trump spokesperson Kellyanne Conway, and what they might say if they were in charge of the school.

Letters of suspension sent to Sheahan and Kopas from the Deer Valley Unified School District say the administrators will each be suspended for 10 days without pay.

The skit was initially shown to Boulder Creek staffers at a January 19 meeting, and a video of the performance was uploaded to YouTube and made public the following day.

The video labeled parents as "morons", and referred to students and "weak, loser, stupid, lightweights".

"The story caused controversy in the community resulting in hundreds of calls and emails to the District office, Governing Board Members, and BCHS, both against and in support of the BCHS administration and District," the letter read.

Supporters of the Calexit should look to the east to see the consequences of that decision. Its OK to disagree with the political situation but eventually reality of the situation of becomes evident. A similar situation exists in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. The locals politician decided on establishing their own government and leave the authority of Kiev. The local military seized the local Ukrainian government to establish their own separate government, the DNR. The locals had an unsanctioned election to decide the issue. Now what. The transition was very painful to the residents. The pension payments to retirees was reduced to one third, Rail and air travel became a memory. The DNR sold the assets of local manufacturing to Russia in exchange for weapons. Now the jobs are gone. Unemployment is the highest in history. The cost of living has risen 3 to 4 times the previous cost of living. Medicine and food are in short supply and is so expensive it is almost impossible for a retiree to obtain. The price of gasoline is nearly $10. It is a shame because that region was the industrial heart of Ukraine that has been raped and traded for weapons. The only ones for which this turned out well is the new self-appointed politicians.

If California decides to become foreign country. They have much to lose. Federal social security payments and medicare will no longer exist and becomes the responsibility of the state. Federal banking regulations will be gone. The use of US dollars may no longer exist and California will have to establish its own currency and treasury. Eastern Ukraine's currency converted to the Russian Ruble and is under the financial control of Moscow. Travel to the US will under control of the US state department. California residents may be required to have a visa to go to Las Vegas. That will include the entertainers and the celebs. The food stamp and housing subsidies from USDA and HUD will become the responsibility of the state. The "Rose Bowl"and Disneyland may become history. It is doubtful that major professional sports will thrive. The major California universities will become foreign universities and could possibly lose acceptance in the US. If a California resident decides to
move to New York they would have to make a application for to the Department of State. The US would no longer be responsible for military protection. California will have a nice high speed rail system that no one will ride unless it is free. If California decides to leave the US, the US economy may profit from this mistake.

01/25/2017 The US Is No Longer A "Full Democracy" According To The Economist

While the Economist's endorsement of Hillary Clinton - and its antipathy toward Donald Trump  - is no secret, we are "confident" there is little connection between the economic publication's ideological leanings and the just released report by the Economist's in house Intelligence unit, which has officially demoted the US to a second-class democracy.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, the US has lost its status as a “full democracy” and is now what the research group calls a “flawed democracy,” as a result of an erosion of public trust in political institutions which, luckily, pre-dates Trump’s victory.

Does Trump win mark the end for liberal democracy?
https://qz.com/894362/america-has-been-downgraded-to-a-flawed-democracy-but-not-because-of-trump-economist-intelligence-unit-says/

In the EIU’s ninth annual Democracy Index, the number of full democracies around the world fell to 19, from 20 the year before. http://www.eiu.com/public/topical_report.aspx?campaignid=DemocracyIndex2016

America’s downgrade puts it at 21 in the rankings, below Japan and even with Italy.

The US has been “teetering on the brink of becoming a flawed democracy” for years, the report says quoted by Quartz.

The US has been downgraded to a “flawed democracy,” but not just because of Trump
https://qz.com/894362/america-has-been-downgraded-to-a-flawed-democracy-but-not-because-of-trump-economist-intelligence-unit-says/

Regardless of the result of the 2016 presidential election, the US was due a downgrade.

Trust has been declining in the US for decades, leaving the country’s institutions battling a “legitimacy crisis” and struggling to sustain representative democracy in its current form, the report says. http://www.people-press.org/2015/11/23/beyond-distrust-how-americans-view-their-government/

“Democracy is in trouble in the West, in the mature democracies of western Europe and the US, which are no longer obvious beacons for those striving for democracy in the nondemocratic world,” the EIU said.

The decline started in the late 1960s with the Vietnam war, civil rights movement, assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy, and the Watergate scandal.

It got worse over the past decade, especially the wars in the Middle East, the financial crisis, and persistent gridlock in Washington.

And then Trump:

By tapping a deep strain of political disaffection with the functioning of democracy, Mr Trump became a beneficiary of the low esteem in which US voters hold their government, elected representatives and political parties, but he was not responsible for a problem that has had a long gestation.

According to the EIU, the decline in public trust in institutions also helps explain the UK’s Brexit vote and the rise of populist movements around the world.

However, unlike the US, the EIU judged that democracy improved in the UK, with the country’s index score rising from 8.31 to 8.36.

The Brexit referendum drew a much higher turnout than in other recent votes, boosting the country’s political participation score.

In total, democracy, as measured by the EIU, declined in 72 countries and increased in 38 countries last year.

Almost half of the world’s population lives in a democracy of some sort, but only around 5% live in a “full democracy.”

Meanwhile, about 2.6 billion people live under authoritarian rule.

Norway topped the list while North Korea came last.

Here is simple way to not give the IRS money in advance. Now, it takes some planning, but, if you are accepting a wage job, you can claim deductions on your W4 form. Take as many as is reasonable. Now, you have greater take home pay. Of course, you have to figure your tax, but, you don't gain anything by expecting a refund. Think about it. I know people always look forward to getting a check from the treasury.....But it was your money....You gave it to them. They pay you nothing for using your money. Nothing. And you are happy to get it back when you could have used this money?

It's different for corporations. I have had a few, and you have to pay quarterly....And it doesn't matter if you made money...You still have to pay. Then, you settle at tax time. It's called imputed income. The government assumes you made the same amount from the previous tax period. Whether you made it or not, you pay.

Understanding the taxation system, you can maximize your income.

The system is too complex. Did you know the tax code is 72,000+ pages? How is anyone to understand this?
It's like reading the Holy Bible ten times!

Like Dumped on Prom Night

In response to the famous question "What difference, at this point" could it possibly make?"... I think she now understands the answer.

Hillary Clinton’s post-election celebration plans included hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of fireworks, live performances by various celebrities, such as Cher, who came believing that Hillary
was going to win the election, a five-hundred-thousand-dollar special effect glass ceiling that she would break through in a dramatic display once she walked out on stage at her H.Q., among millions of dollars' worth of other celebratory preparations, all
paid for by the Clinton Foundation in full.

The most notable damage was located deep in the VIP room of the Clinton camp. A custom 150 inch ultra HD TV, a gift from the Saudi Arabian government, was found with a broken screen. The damage was caused by a $950,000 bottle of champagne that was believed to have been thrown at the screen by the former presidential candidate sometime during the election.

Early in the morning, the custodial staff were greeted by flipped-over tables as the floors were covered with expensive food, drinks, and appetizers. Broken champagne flutes and gilded silverware were also seen scattered around the would-be party room.

The most telling sign of a massive meltdown was the cake. The pastry that had once proudly displayed the presidential seal, was violently flung against the walls in chunks. A broken topper from the cake in the shape of the white house was discovered lodged
firmly into the drywall near the dessert table.

Clinton’s splurge on party supplies was merely an echo of all the left-leaning polls and hype that "confirmed" Hillary Clinton's indubitable win. Misled by just about every prediction, Hillary Clinton personally planned one big party for her assumed victory.
Once it became clear that it would not be Clinton’s night, however, the mood of the party soured rapidly.

A former staffer, who was fired during the rampage, said that the atmosphere around Clinton went from "queen of the hour" to "the girl who was dumped on prom night" in only a few moments.

Hillary Clinton reportedly became “physically violent” towards her own campaign staff after she realized she had lost the presidential election, according to radio host Todd Kincannon. “CNN reporter tells me Hillary became physically violent towards Robby Mook and John Podesta around midnight;” had to be briefly restrained,” tweeted Kincannon.

It was Podesta who was sent out to talk to Hillary’s dejected supporters shortly before Hillary called Donald Trump to concede, with Clinton nowhere to be seen until the following day.

When asked about rumors that Hillary was drunk on election night, Kincannon responded, “She was. I posted about that too. She was in a “psychotic drunken rage” according to my reporter friend. Doctor added sedatives to the mix.”

Kincannon then claimed that CNN blocked the reporter from publishing what would have been a bombshell story. “The CNN reporter didn’t fail to report it. His editors will not let him. CNN has banned all “Hillary in the bunker” stories,” he tweeted.

Secret Service officials and other staff who worked closely alongside Hillary have previously reported her problems with angry tantrums on numerous occasions. Last year it was also reported that Clinton’s own campaign staffers feared she could have a serious meltdown and that Hillary had “been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left staff members in tears and unable to work.” In addition to claims that she became irate, author Ed Klein said a source told him Hillary cried inconsolably to a friend after the results came in, blaming FBI director Comey and President Barack Obama for not doing enough to stop the FBI investigation into her email scandal.
