It is an egregious and thoroughly immoral attempt to justify the claim that the Jan 6 assault on the Capitol building was the "greatest assault on American democracy in history". And, the idea that president Trump was the prime mover and instigator of the violence is an unforgivable LIE. The media cooked that one up and a generation of ignorant hateful fools fell for it.
The bombing of Pearl Harbor killed and injured 3500 military and civilian personnel, sank 20 ships, destroyed over 100 aircraft and started a protracted war that killed millions, obliterated entire cities, and caused unimaginable suffering throughout the war and long after.
The 9/11 attacks also resulted in heavy loss of life and billions in financial losses and property damage, not to mention crashing the market and shutting down Wall Street and all commercial aviation for an entire week.
Anybody who even hints that the Jan 6 violence was the "greatest assault of American democracy" is a deluded moron.
