Even better would be a limitation of campaigning to 6 weeks prior to the election requiring political parties to convene 1 week prior to the 6 week date. Only television and radio ads. Full vetting of all candidates to include 10 years of tax returns, all voting records for the previous 10 years, all school records, passport records, complete business history for 10 years, complete medical records for 10 years. Required debates of all candidates weekly for the 6 week period. Full disclosure of all financial contributors which would be limited to one PAC per candidate. Then we would know exactly who and what is running for office.
