This was on my mind today, due to another thread called "walmart hates me" Well this is not funny, I really hate Walmart.
I'm a capitalist, not a snob, but I hate going there, it represents much of what is wrong with America. How does a bunch
of junk become better just because there's alot of it. I mean I won't buy socks there, as all the clothes are pretty much disposable.
The food is of questionable origen and freshness. The "value packs" are of quantities that only an overeater could love and
a stroll or should I say , trying to sqeeze through the aisles is dangerous as whole overfed foodstamp families may crush you.
On top of that they never have enough registers open and the few harried employees are unble to help. It is a giant stuffmart
made to satisfy a compulsion to have, more, more, more. And it all ends up in the trash. Anyone here love Walmart?
Then there is the fact that all the good local shops can't compeat and are gone. And the bathrooms are gross.

My best friend is a VP of a company in Chicago. One of his workers worked for Walmart a few years ago.He told my buddy they import in the neighborhood of 800,000 shipping containers yearly from China. It was near $50 billion.Sickening when you think of all the lost jobs and money involved with that if those numbers are true.

News blackout on refugee boys who sexually assaulted Idaho girl
As if the sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl by refugee boys were not enough.

Now the American judge says no one involved can say a peep about the case, not even the victim's parents who are chomping at the bit to voice their outrage ...

I think once muslim attacks grow here there may be a backlash of some vigilante type actions from fed up Americans. Can't say it wouldn't cross my mind if someone I loved or knew was a victim of a heinous crime as that innocent child.

Cowardly is the only word to describe these two things, the Patriot Act and Waterboarding, that we have allowed to infect the soul of America. Fear is the dictator, the thinker, the decider for too many in this country. It elected Trump. It divided our nation. It will kill this great country eventually. But here is the difficulty: Fear is an excellent persuader. His arguments are unassailable to most with fear at their base. Those with Fear at their base are blind to that fact. The imperatives of reasoned survival, flowing naturally with their basic instinct to survive, makes their views life or death. It is a mental disorder that they see as simply common sense stances that are inviolable. To accept anything different in consideration is seen almost literally as a death sentence. The Liberals may have a point in this area? No way! Can't be! America will die if we yield. Look at the posts by most on the Right and tell me this assessment is wrong.

Obama divided our nation, not Trump. What will kill this country is a massive swarm of radical muslims allowed to invade us under the guise of oppressed refugees. At some point very soon you will see acts of terrorism here just like England is seeing.Get off your high horse and think about the safety of your friends and family.I'd much rather our military deal with these savages with a little bit of water boarding and anything else it takes to stop this assault on our way of life than to face these nut jobs while walking down the street or sitting at a concert venue.Sometimes morals and war don't mix.

Our lives have always been filled with pets, primarily dogs, but a cat or two, several pet snakes, a number of birds, and for short periods of time many toads, goats in the bathroom and a number of orphaned baby birds. All have helped fill our hearts with joy and peace, not just for themselves, but for the joy they bring to the boys who have been part of our lives.

NPP and SWMBO

I think it was George Carlin who said "life is a series of dogs."The joy they give fulfills the heart.

Thanks.Sometimes the normal political topics become ever so redundant. There is nothing more special to some people than the bond they share with a dog or pet.
