A Poacher's Worst Nightmare Unfolds as K-9 Trots Into the Turkey Woods

When there’s a job that needs to be done, give it to a dog.

In Miami County, Kansas, a K-9 named Indy, with a bit of help from Game Warden Mitch Falls, busted turkey poachers on April 20.

“Indy was at it again Saturday evening! Just after 6pm, a landowner in Miami County reported turkeys being poached off his property in rural Miami County,” Kansas Wildlife & Parks — Game Wardens posted on Facebook.

Deputies from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office responded as well.

After finding the vehicle they wanted to stop, “Deputies and Warden Falls spoke with the two individuals at the scene and worked through a language barrier.”

“Two turkeys (one Tom and one Hen), three .22 rifles, and an air rifle were seized by Warden Falls. The shooter was arrested for multiple wildlife violations,” the post said.

When the humans were finished, Indy was not.

“After the scene was cleared and everyone had left, Indy started into an area search for any more evidence. Shortly after that, another suspect came out of the woods with his hands up. That suspect was also arrested and taken to jail,” the post said.

“Indy was sent back out to search and located another freshly dead hen turkey in the woods,” the post said.


“Essentially, some guys were driving down the road, they saw some turkeys, the passenger shot turkeys from the vehicle with a rifle,” Falls said, according to Outdoor Life.

Earlier in April, the black Labrador retriever and Falls investigated another out-of-season turkey hunt.

“Indy located several pieces of evidence, including this .410 wad used to harvest one of the turkeys. Kansas Game Warden K-9’s are trained and certified in locating evidence with burnt gun powder residue,” Kansas Wildlife & Parks — Game Wardens posted on Facebook.

Two suspected poachers were charged in that incident, according to Outdoor Life.

According to the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation since 1997, K-9 teams have participated in more than 7,500 cases involving poachers.

The K-9 teams find game, guns, and other evidence that can be used to secure convictions.

Poachers of endangered animals should be killed and left for scavengers to give'm their last rites.

Three bodies have been found in Mexico near where three tourists had been reported missing, according to Reuters, which cited a local prosecutor’s office in the Mexican state of Baja California.

The bodies will undergo forensic testing to determine whether they are indeed those of Australian brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and American Carter Rhoad, 30.

Authorities also reportedly found a burned-out white pickup truck that the New York Post said was “similar to the white Chevrolet Colorado pickup the men were driving” that had been shown on a missing persons poster.

Tents were also found abandoned in the same area.

Authorities were searching the area near the location of the bodies for additional evidence, according to a statement from the prosecutor’s office.

The three friends had been on a surfing vacation about 90 minutes south of the U.S. border near Ensenada, a popular tourist destination.

The men had been missing for about a week, having last been seen on April 27, Reuters said, but they had not officially been reported as missing for several days after that — on Wednesday, according to multiple outlets.

“On Thursday, state prosecutor Socorro Ibarra said that three people were being investigated in connection with the case,” the outlet reported. “Her office noted on Friday that arrest warrants have been obtained for the crime of forced disappearance.”

It was unclear whether the warrants were for the three individuals being investigated, or for others. It was also unclear whether the three mentioned were suspects or merely witnesses.

The three being investigated are citizens of Mexico, according to The U.K.’s Telegraph, one of whom had in her possession drugs as well as cellphone with an image of the three missing men as its wallpaper.

Reuters said that even though Baja California is considered “one of Mexico’s most violent states,” the area around Ensenada is generally considered safer.

The U.S. State Department in August issued a travel advisory listing six Mexican states under the category of “Do Not Travel To,” but Baja California is listed under the next category, “Reconsider Travel To,” because of the levels of “crime and kidnapping” in the state.

“We are aware of those reports and are closely monitoring the situation,” a State Department spokesperson told Reuters when asked about the three bodies found in Baja California.

The three men had made a number of social media posts during their trip, but those stopped on April 27, according to the Post. They were also scheduled to show up at an Airbnb that day, but never arrived.

“There is a lot of important information that we can’t make public,” Baja California’s chief prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez said, according to the Post.

“Baja California has long been a hub of drug cartel activity,” The Telegraph reported Friday. “The state’s largest city, Tijuana, which is separated from San Diego by a wall, is notoriously violent. It also hosts raucous nightlife and offers cheap plastic surgery for Americans who often take a daytrip across the border.

“The drug gangs usually avoid targeting tourists, something that is not part of their lucrative core operations and would trigger repercussions from Washington,” the outlet added. “But Baja California is awash with guns bought north of the border and foreigners there can often fall prey to common crime.”

Apparently, Zoo officials had trimmed the dogs’ fur and dyed them black and white to resemble pandas, as they couldn’t provide real pandas.

Columbia University is in the headlines day and night- and not for good reasons. For me, in the words of the great NY Yankee Hall of Famer Yogi Berra, “it’s déjà vu all over again.”

Are you shocked at the scenes of radicals taking over Columbia U with signs and chants showing their hatred for America, capitalism, Israel, even the Jews? Don’t be.

Nothing much has changed in 41 years.

I spent four shocking, miserable years at Columbia back in the early ‘80’s. I graduated Columbia U, Class of ’83. My classmate was Obama. I’m here to tell you nothing has changed.

Let me tell you about my experiences.

I am a S.O.B. (son of a butcher). But my dad the butcher (David Root) was a great father and patriot. He taught me to love America and live the American Dream.

My dad used to say, “The Republican Party isn’t the party of the rich, it’s the party of anyone who wants the opportunity to be rich- or wants their children to have the opportunity to be rich.” In 2012 I repeated that phrase on Fox News and the next day Mitt Romney used that exact phrase at his presidential rally. From a butcher’s mouth to a presidential candidate’s lips.

I’m sure my dad was looking down from heaven with great pride and saying, “Only in America.”

My dad relentlessly taught me 24/7 that I would someday attend Columbia University. He said, “In America the streets may be paved with gold, but only an Ivy League degree gets you onto those streets!”

I listened to my father. I studied, got straight A+’s, graduated as Valedictorian of my class, and in 1979 I was accepted at Columbia University. A butcher sent his son to the Ivy Leagues.

I was bursting with pride as I stepped onto the Ivy League campus at Columbia. I thought “My dad was right. Only in America. How lucky am I to be living in this country?” I credited God, faith, family, freedom, America, and American exceptionalism for my achieving the American Dream.

Boy was I about to experience culture shock.

When I walked into my first class at Columbia, I found the best and brightest. But there were no SOB’s. None of them were sons or daughters of butchers like me.

I met the luckiest, richest, spoiled brats in America.

Everyone was filthy rich and heirs to fortunes. These were the children of the richest and most powerful businessmen, CEOs, Wall Street titans, investment bankers, lawyers, doctors, judges, and politicians.

They all drove Mercedes and BMW’s at age 18. They had mansions waiting in Scarsdale or Great Neck, and summer homes in the Hamptons, or Martha’s Vineyard. They had all been on many vacations to Europe.

My dad drove an Oldsmobile. My family got two weeks a year vacation- in July to a motel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I’d never been to Europe. Heck, I’d never been out of New York or New Jersey.

I was in culture shock. But it was soon to get much worse. Because all these filthy rich, white, spoiled brats, who were born into “the Lucky Sperm Club,” who never did one thing in their lives to earn their privileged lives, HATED America.

They hated our country…hated the idea of American exceptionalism…hated capitalism…hated white people (even though they were almost all white)…hated Israel (even though many of them were Jewish)…hated God and religion (they were almost all atheists), and they wanted to destroy America and bring the system crashing down to create “equality.”

They told me this all day, every day, for four long years.

They hated the three things in life I respected most- police, military, and small business (my dad owned his butcher store).

They hated my hero Ronald Reagan (just as today they hate most President Trump).

But most of all, they hated white, straight, male Republicans.

Does all of this sound familiar?

Even more of a bullseye with today, my Columbia classmates almost to a man and women, called themselves “communists, socialists, or Marxists.” They bragged about this all the time.

I was in shock. Here I was a blue-collar kid from a dead-end street on the Bronx borderline- and I loved and appreciated America. I credited America for my success. I loved God. I loved my parents. I was living the American Dream and proud of it

And my classmates already had everything I hoped to enjoy twenty or thirty years down the line, from the moment of their birth with a silver spoon in their mouths. And yet they hated America and wanted to destroy it. And they hated God.

And the one thing that actually shocked me the most- they hated white people.

How could you be white and hate white people? How bizarre. How could you be so filthy rich and hate rich people? How could you be Jewish and hate Israel? What was wrong with these people.

I grew to hate my communist classmates. I grew to hate Columbia. I spent four miserable years there, earned my degree and escaped. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I graduated 6 months early and went straight into business. I skipped my graduation ceremony- because I despised my radical, “Lucky Sperm Club” communist classmates so much, I never wanted to see any of them again.

Fast forward to 2008. I knew America was in trouble when I heard a Columbia U Class of 1983 grad was running for President. Barack Obama. I knew instantly that we had a radical communist scumbag trying to destroy America from within.

Boy was I right.

It’s 41 years later. Nothing has changed. The students at Columbia are exactly the same- radical communist spoiled-brats who hate America, American exceptionalism, capitalism, God, Judeo-Christian values, and Israel.

And I believe my communist Columbia classmate Obama is still in charge, still the de facto president, giving the orders, trying to destroy America and everything I believe in.

"I heard she kept trying to get access to the stables and told security ‘It's totally fine, I've got plenty of ammo.' I even overheard her telling a jockey to send her a text if his horse didn't perform well in the race. She seemed pretty serious about it."

At publishing time, Noem had been escorted off the property by security personnel but was last seen setting up a perch on a nearby building and assembling a sniper rifle.

In an interview with Bill O’Reilly years ago, Barack Obama promised to fundamentally change (transform) America. At the time, he followed his preacher Jeremiah Wright in Chicago with, “God D*mn America.” Obama also hid the fact that he was a practicing Muslim because he knew Americans would not vote for anyone following the Islamic religion after 9/11.

Then he wrote a book where he admitted when the winds blew hard against him, he would stand with the Muslims.

If you haven’t seen it, let’s look at what’s happened to Great Britain. Once the most powerful nation on the planet, London and 20 other cities find themselves being led by Muslim mayors.

Out of 67 million British citizens, and only 4.0 million imported Muslims, Great Britain finds its own Christian religion being replaced by 3,000 mosques, 130 Sharia Courts and 50 Sharia Councils.

For the record, Sharia Law is the most brutal, deadly, insane, and totally anti-Western religion on the planet. It degrades women as ½ the value of a man. There are no rights to women’s dress or choice of spouse. Children lack any rights. Honor killings of women are lawful and carried out to the tune of 20,000 annually according to the United Nations. Female genital mutilation is mandated and lawful. Women cannot swim in a pool with men. Women cannot wear a bathing suit unless it’s a full pajama suit and only with other women. Women can be beaten without cause. Women must cover their entire bodies and wear hijabs or burkas, which turn them into “non-persons.” Women cannot drive a car or ride a bicycle. They have no say in the politics of a country.

“A whopping 78 percent of Muslim women do not work, receive state support, and free accommodations. Another 63 percent of male Muslims do not work, receive state support, and free housing. State supported Muslim families with an average of 6 to 8 kids receive free accommodations. In other words, Great Britain pays for a religion that displaces its own citizens. What few understand is this face: Islam works toward total world dominance. So, when Muslim Barack Obama said that he was out to “change” America fundamentally, he meant it.

If you look around you, we jumped from 300 Mosques and 100,000 Muslims in 1990, to well over 4.0 million Muslims in America in 2024. Their goal is to reach 20 to 30 million by 2050. With THAT many numbers, they can and will take over entire cities. They will form Islamic caliphates within American that have nothing to do with America.

One look at Detroit, Michigan in the past month with their 300,000 imported Syrian Muslims, they have been chanting, “Death to America” in meetings to support the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered 1,200 women and children on October 7, 2023.

If you look at the audacity and violence of Muslims at our major universities, you’re seeing a “fundamental change” in America. What is that change? We’re being changed or devolved into a third world country. We’re being driven back to the 6th century when Mohammod the Prophet raped, killed, beheaded and generally created the savagery of Islam.

If you look at “Somaliland” in Minneapolis, Minnesota, you see 125,000 Somalian Muslims living off American taxpayers’ dollars for food, housing, medical care and more. Because they carry an average IQ of 68, they have totally trashed the school systems. Why? Anyone with that low an IQ, lacks any interest in educational pursuits. Additionally, they simply cannot perform or pass tests in math, science, physics or any STEM subjects.

If you look at George Washington University, those same Muslims draped the Palestinian flag over a statue of the “George Washington,” the Father of Our Country. They desecrated it beyond recognition. Do they care about our country or about any Americans? What do you think?

If you look at the history of Islam from the 6th century, it has not changed into a civil or intelligent religion. It’s based on a political religious system that tolerates no other religions and no other thought processes. If you look at Iran, that country provides the most terror in the world. One look at Europe shows you a total disintegration of Western Ideals, laws and civility.

Obama wants to “fundamentally change” by importing more Muslims. If you look at what his “stepchild” Biden has done, look no further than our southern “border”, which is no longer a border. Biden invited 12 million illegal aliens, terrorists, drug cartels, criminals, nut cases and worse into our country in the past 41 months.

How do you think they will “fundamentally change or transform” our country?

While we’re seeing our country turn into a cesspool of criminals, Congress does NOTHING to stop the president or the illegals.

You must ask yourself, “Would I want my wife and children to live in Detroit, Michigan to be forced to read the Qur’an at school, obey Sharia Law, watch honor killings, have my female children suffer female genital mutilation, wear Burkas or hijabs, be unable to swim with boys, wear a pajama to swim, be dubbed at ½ the value of a male, and another dozen atrocities beyond comprehension?”

If I were an American woman, “Would I want my husband to take four wives? Would I like him to beat me at any whim? Would I like being forced to stay in the house unless accompanied by another male from my house? Would I like myself to be forced into female genital mutilation? Would I like my daughters going to school with classes dominated by Somalian students? How much education would my children receive?”

How did it feel when you heard the news report, “Death to America” from all those pro-Hamas Muslim supporters? Did you ask yourself, “How could they say that inside the greatest and freest country on this planet?”

All Americans better start asking themselves these questions because the citizens of Great Britain didn’t. Now look where they find themselves.
