AuntiE, you mistake complaint for simple observaions. I mentioned the total denial of many conservatives in regards to pollsters, fact-checkers, etc. around the 2012 election as a segue into the fact that, it seems, no amount of facts wil deter or even dent what many conservatives want to believe. Any facts or supporting fact-checkers I might provide will, as I have experienced over and over and over again the last four years, only result in being on the seeming conspiracy and a low down dirty liberal.

dutchman (too bad, no easy and insulting perversion of your name to appear clever or superior; oh, well, on to the point), I am not the enemy. Divisiveness, and no other issue or concern, is killing America.

Jesus H. Christ, you guys are so mired in hatred, self-righteousness and retaliation that you can't see your chains.

What was central to decency, according to Jesus: "getting the eyes to see." Being one-sided in your views or your worldly allegiance is the bindness Christ spoke of.

auntiE, get a grip. You want a link, google income disparity: read it and weep.

I am not looking to prove any case, so I have no need of links to support my statements. But you do to dispute them. Name-calling is not discrediting what I said. As far as links go, provide those that support your insults of me.

Proof, please, CrazyHorse. Your post sounds very similar to a contribution letter sent out by Rand Paul, stating that the NSA was using their records to track "gun-owners," using the GPS devices in our cell phones to pinpoint gun purchashes. An outright fabrication but great for the paranoid to send money.

You are confabulating also. You don't have to. Why lie when the truth is far more convincing and worse.

lol, you totally misinterpreted what I was saying (as well as a serious typo in my name).

You said,"These guys are hard working tax paying Americans and Never took a handout in their lives!" Did i ever suggest differently? But curiously, why defend them in that manner? Would you mount the same defense for a white friend? Either you are saying that your Black friends are exceptional or they are not the usual average.

My point was that being different substantively, as in an easily and clearly recognizable color or trait, makes you subject for the "stranger syndrome." Blacks cannot ever escape this place. Their skin in neon advertizes it. Yet attitudes have greatly evolved since I was a teenager in the 60s.

I was raised without prejudicde for this race: I did not see any difference. Although brought up in a completely segegated community, whites only until the early 70s, I was drawn, simply as an athelete, to their apparent atheletic prowse. My idol and mentor was Tommy Davis, the best guy on our track team. The only other Black runner showed open disdain for the rest of team, all white. I did not understand why for almost five years.

There are plenty of Irishmen who continue to hate the Brits with all their hearts and blame them for their failures. Yet the advantage of being white-skinned, once the brogue had been lost, were the same as any WASP. But not even close to being the same as any Black.

Lol, I need a translator with your exchanges, auntiE and WFOC.

The ACLU was founded to represent the Constitution, whether we like what they are pursuing or not. It is very curious that this breach of our privacy by the NSA is defended and attacked by both sides of the aisle. The "leaker" is both a traitor and a patriot.

What is wrong with the NSA probing and keeping of records? It is the lack of oversight by Congress and clearly defined parameters. The law regarding these operations should not be kept secret from the citizenry.

The FISA bill was far too vague or easily manipulated to suit "necessary" security measures. It seems this vagueness made what appeared intended for a particular phone line be re-interpreted for all those in a office or building. Crazy!

Why, AunTie? In my short experince of this site, trying to point out discrepancies of facts about things which can be easily verified, has only led to either disputing the facts via right wing conspiracy sites and insult me, or ignoring the facts as "left wing media propaganda" and insult me.

In the last election, we saw pollsters and fact-checkers and reputable government institutions with decades of impeccable reputations be openly accused in being part of a liberal conspiracy. The only "truth" became for the conservative what they heard on Faux News or conspiracy theory sites, like Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. Anything that did not tell the same theme that the neocons wanted to hear was distrusted and attacked.

Hatred is so pathetic, dutchman. You spew all these vile things about liberals and it does squat about anything. What has changed? Have we progressed? Tearing down is for the weak-minded and careless. Dutchman, I don't believe you belong in either category; I believe you have beed duped, like most of the population, into assuming these self-destructive roles of divisiveness. Keep we the people divided, by whatever means, and profits will be extraordinary.

Another puppet spawned by divisiveness, the dutchman and his ilk, fail to see how they have been constantly and convincingly manipulated by the true powers that be: Corporate America, which is now really the International market. To concede this fact means taking the hated and evil communists view of life on this planet as real. Horrors of horrors. Yet the effect of unchecked Capitalism on the American citizen was clearly visible and recorded: horrific, in a word.

Those who do not study history, are doomed to repeat it. Corporate America is not a person nor is it our friend, and it never will be...unless where it suits the bottom line. The Bottom Line, not the Constitution or you or anythng else, is God.

It is a funny and telling divide on this issue of the actions of the NSA. Both the Left and Right speak for and against it. Yet this issue has not moved into a state of bi-partisanship. That place is for we the people to act. Our rights are secured by God or not. And any atheist would be wise to worry as well at what is happening. A humanistic view would call us to arms as well. Tyranny is alive in the unfortuante deep pockets of our so-called representatives. This body of Congress needs to be held accountable. How? Cease and desist our fragmentation and divisiveness over issues: this is bait, pure and simple. e the people, despite what seems as irreconcilable differences, need to come together and stopped being duped by the party- and race-baiting practices of our bought and paid for representatives.

Lol, my message remains the same: a patriot's voice. You are like lambs to the slaughter, oldroy and dutchman. Spiteful and entrenched, like so many Tea Partiers, you let yourselves become puppets. You stopped looking and thinking deeply, lost critical analysis in favor of political rhetoric, and basically sold your soul to hate.

This divisiveness which has been carefully orchestrated by those who profit from it want us to be continuously at each others' throat; their shennanigans then go unnoticed, or blindly supported to spite the other side.

Stop being such fools!
