I think due to the fentanyl he just swallowed. Resisted to get inside the car and therefore was placed down the ground to control him fighting back. Chauvin was a small police officer only 140 lbs. and 5 ft 9 inches, while Floyd was 6 feet, and 4 inches at 223 lbs. Chauvin being small asked the help of another officer with him.
While Chauvin's knee was on Floyd's shoulder, next to his neck, and trying to control him, Floyd died. I think he died due to the fentanyl he swallowed, and his heart attack. Floyd had also a heart problem and high blood pressure. They accused Police Officer of his feet on his neck. that was wrong. It was his knee on his shoulder but close to the neck. I saw the event that happened.
When Floyd died, Minneapolis gave the family $29 million taxpayers dollars, built Floyd a statue, but the lightning stoke the statue, perhaps they rebuilt it, not sure.
Chauvin was convicted more than 20 years in prison. Chauvin followed the Police training when trying to control Floyd. During the Jury trial, Maxine Waters entered the Court Room shouting and demanding to the Judge and the Juries to convict Floyd.
Another scene. The black Police Officer who killed the unarmed Air Force veteran Ashley Babbit at the Capitol building, was celebrated as a hero, by the party of Pelosi. He was also raised and given $160,000 thru Go Fund Me program by Kinzinger who witnessed at the Jan 6th Committee, with Liz Cheney against Donald Trump, the innocent party who had nothing to do with the Jan 6th mayhem which I think was staged via many parties like the FBI's and the Pelosi team.
The mother of Ashley on her way to visit and celebrate her 2nd year murder, was arrested Jan 6th by 3 Police Officers, accused of jay walking.
Every time I drive out, I saw many people blacks and browns crossing the streets but no one arrest them. But Babbit's mother was arrested.

Chauvin is innocent. The Floyd autopsy proved it, but the court of lefty opinion is the law of the land.
Next president, Trump or DeSantis, should pardon Chauvin.
