That's the whole point! Why should you have a voice when you might not agree with their idea of utopia?

Quick! Flush it!

"You know what they say! What goes around comes around, and that’s just what’s happening to CNN. What the unapologetically leftist propaganda machine attempts to pass off as “news shows” are so abysmally unpopular that not a single CNN show averaged enough viewers to reach the top 20 for the first quarter of 2019."

https://teapartypac.org/fail-cnn-couldnt-manage-to-get-a-single-show-in-the-first-quarter-top-20/

"And, in reality, it’s much worse than that if you take a moment to interpret the numbers beyond face value. It’s not just that CNN’s content didn’t make the top 20 for all of cable television, they couldn’t claw their way into the top 20 among just three total networks, including Fox News and MSNBC."

I hear the sound of running water...

Probably, but they don't make the laws, just enforce them, and they don't have the ability to pick and choose which laws to enforce. There are politicians behind this and it's all about the money, guaranteed.

Ha! After the last two years, if he doesn't coast up to the White House on a rainbow colored winged unicorn I'll be surprised. Every single piece is falling into place with perfection. His Presidency is absolutely rolling along, the #Resistance is in such disarray they don't know which end of the donkey to kiss! What's not to like?

The President is right. The Democrats are acting very "Strange".

They’ve realized their severely flawed, SOCIALIST agenda is terrible and instead of working to improve their failed policies, Liberal Senators, including radical Dianne Feinstein and Kirsten Gillibrand, want to rewrite the election rules by amending the Constitution to ABOLISH the Electoral College.

If you can't score the goal, move the goalposts.

Seeing the writing on the wall (Ha! 'wall', geddit?), they are doing everything they can to fix the election for 2020 and make our President a one-term footnote. They must know their chances of achieving this are less than infinitesimal but still, they pander to their low-information base. The message is clear. They know they can't win the electoral college because there are way too many people outside the cities who see them for who (and what) they are and will continue to support our President. They have to appear to be 'resisting' or their support will dry up completely and they won't be able to finagle the election credibly if there are no legitimate votes to mix in.

Curious. How does a hood burn a cross or lynch someone? Last I looked it was just an inanimate object, you know, like a rifle or a grenade. Or even a ... MAGA HAT! PUNK!

For those of us who were there in the beginning, here's a nice slice of nostalgia:

http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/

"In 2005, student Alex Tew had a million-dollar brainwave.

The 20-year-old was playing around with ideas to pay for a looming three-year business degree; Tew was already worrying that the overdraft he had would mushroom. So he scribbled on a pad: “How to become a millionaire.”

Twenty minutes later he had what he thought was the answer.

Tew set up a website called the Million Dollar Homepage. The site’s model was almost obscenely simple: on it was a million pixels of ad space, the pixels available to buy in blocks of 100 at $1 a pixel. Once you bought them they were yours forever. When the millionth pixel was sold, Tew would be a millionaire. At least, that was the plan.

The Million Dollar Homepage launched on 26 August 2005, after Tew had spent the grand sum of 50 euros on registering the domain and setting up the hosting. Advertisers bought pixels and provided a link, tiny image and a short amount of text for when the cursor hovered over their image."

"Project Hope to Abolish the Death Penalty is the nation’s only anti–death penalty organization run by death-row prisoners."

https://www.thenation.com/article/project-hope-abolish-death-penalty-alabama/

Thinking about it, it does make sense. You find yourself on death row, you have exhausted your legal appeals. What else can you do to try and save your own life? Abolish the death penalty! Genius!

No, really, read the article, it just might give you a new perspective on capital punishment in general, and a better understanding of how it feels to sit in a cell, condemned to die at the whim of the legal system.

Congress controls the SS payments. It's spending, so it originates in the House.

LOOK AT THE BOTTOM LINE!!

Typically, the first question asked about The Green New Deal is: “Where will the money come from?” That’s the wrong question. We all know where the money will come from. It will come from the only legitimate source of new money, US Treasury checks, also the source of money for aircraft carriers.

Next, they say the GND will raise your taxes sky high and you can’t afford it. But that is a con man’s dishonest argument. The first thing to know about economics is that if something can be done technically, physically, it can be done financially. The GND is a major investment that must be evaluated like all investments: by looking at the bottom line. And your bottom line is not your tax bill. Your bottom line is your net worth as a result of the GND. Let’s take a look!

The annual cost of health care for 300 million Americans at an average cost of $10 thousand each is $3 trillion. If we include the annual cost of expense-paid university education for all qualified students and the annual cost of replacing fossil fuels with green energy, we have to add another trillion. That $4 trillion dollars will about double the current amount of annual Congressional spending. The right question to be asked is: “Where is all that money going?” The new $4 trillion will follow the path of last year’s $4 trillion. So, let’s have a look and see what actually happened last year.

When Congress spends $4 trillion, 10% or $400 billion enters domestic private bank accounts. Yes, deficit spending equals after-tax savings! That’s why World War II spending gave us 30 years of prosperity. War workers cashed in war bonds for cars, homes, and kids, creating all our beautiful suburbs that did not exist before the war. If Congress spends $8 trillion, much more than $800 billion will enter those accounts because of “tax bracket creep”. More rich suburbs are coming your way!

Our problem will not be money but rather physical resources. Whereas we probably have enough resources for expense-paid education for all but, for Medicare for All, there will be a scarcity of doctors, dentists, etc., until free education provides enough personnel, which could take ten years or more. For that reason, Medicare for All will have to be implemented gradually, beefing up our current Medicare bureaucracy. We would add children up to age 19 plus students. Their robust health will have a minimal impact. Annually, additional age groups can be phased in from both ends of the age spectrum. We should also expect that foreign personnel would be attracted to US wages and hasten the date of maturity of the new healthcare system.

Most of the rest of the GND is green energy. That will be a matter of training our millions of unemployed and under-employed, especially the millions of incarcerated for construction work. When material shortages arise and begin to cause harmful inflation, it may be necessary to cut production levels down from three shifts to two shifts or even to one shift, as easy as falling off a log. The most important principle is maximum use of resources, especially time. The Green New Deal is the moral equivalent of war. If we want to save our planet, we must use every minute of our lives.

Above all, we must stop thinking of money as a scarce resource. Where Congress is concerned, money is only a number to be used to indicate the quantity of effort Congress asks from the private sector. Our only problem is the threat of inflation. And then, it only means jogging instead of a sprinting.

LOOK AT THE BOTTOM LINE!! br br Typically, t... (show quote)

An elderly and clearly well-to-do lady goes into an upscale restaurant for lunch and the Maitre'D shows her to her table. As she goes to sit on the plush dining chair, she lets out a ripping fart heard all across the room. "Stop that!" she yells at the Maitre'D. "Certainly, Madam, which way did it go?" he replies, smiling.
