You have been inundated with too much propaganda. Do some research into achievements in real, not political or race relations, and see how many true contributions have been made by the black population. Now do some math. Does the contributions in science, mathematics, physics, and such equal the amount of outlay?


I was not in the mind of Mr. Dunn, I have no idea of his views on blacks or if he would have shot the man had he been white or any other race. The issue as I see it, there was a confrontation, one 60 year old man and three younger people. The music was too loud and a request was made to turn it down. The 60 year old says that he was threatened (verbal), then he saw what he thought was a gun. The 60 year old fired his gun at the vehicle hitting one and causing death. As I have said too many times in this thread, he was wrong. Nothing will change that fact. However, I do not know what I would have done under the same circumstances. The probability is that I would have walked away. However, if I truly felt threatened or my child was threatened, I may have fired a weapon. I do not know, and I never want to be placed in that situation.

I did read the entire article. It was a black person saying that whites are all paranoid and making up the entire issue to cover the fact that whites are killing whites. It is a fact that blacks are more prone to committing violent crimes against whites. If you have access to a library, find the New century article "The Color of Crime." It is not a race driven article, it is pretty boring to most people that are looking for sensationalism in journalism and addresses issues in the US and abroad. If you can do research, pick a newspaper and start reading. I do not care which paper you pick, now as you go through them, create a list two columns and put a check mark in the appropriate side: Black aggressor and white aggressor. Do your own comparison. Here is the difference. All whites who are the aggressor is labeled as a racist, the crime is always a hate crime. All black on white crimes is labeled as reason unknown. No indication that it was race driven or a hate crime. Now that is biased reporting!

I am quite well, and you?? Thank you for the restraint in not bringing up the issues of White Europeans stealing the land from the people who stole it from someone else. As you know, land often changes hands through conquest and there is no race that has not taken land from others. Yes, buying and selling slaves was a huge mistake! First, I personally believe that no human should ever be enslaved. Perhaps that is why I am resentful of the over taxation that is now only getting worse. I believe with my whole heart that those initial blacks that were captured and sold by their own kind, should never have been bought our sold in the USA. Imagine the changes to history. Put on your thinking hat. Lincoln, civil war, KKK, MLK..... okay, I would have to live without eating peanut butter, never be protected using a gas mask, spend hours using an ironing board, a mop, and I would not have to feel guilty about eating potato chips. But, all in all I firmly believe that the importation of slaves was a colossal mistake.

I agree that most statistical analysis can be manipulated to prove any point. I should know, I worked for the government and when I wanted new equipment I would run the stats and prove my needs.

I maintain, always argue the thread and not the individual. Once we get emotionally invested, then we loose prospective and are unable to think and thereby respond with clear persuasive arguments. Calling a person a bigot does nothing more than light fires of hostility. Most of the time, we can appreciate another perspective if approached with a logical mind. Once name calling begins, then you loose creditability.

I am assuming that you know how to do research. Here are a few starting places regarding contents of Rap Music, again I use the term music VERY loosely.

“MC Burial” Reportedly directed at 50 Cent, Nas lets his anger shine through loud and clear on this hip hop song about hate. “I’m in the streets like old graffiti/ I’m hearing wankstas talking greezy/ Whether broke or rich my friend/ Nasir bring that career to an end.”
“Say It To My Face” A song from Xzibit about friends who once supported him but started hating on him behind his back. Unlike other hip hop songs about hate, Xzibit never raises his voice but his anger is palpable. “You gotta (say it to my face), I'm right here with a 12-gauge/ You talkin' to a man that plan on dyin' of old age/ Until that day, I crush everything in my way.”

“What’s Beef?” The Notorious B.I.G. explains to the haters and posers what it means to be a real thug. “What’s beef?/ Beef is when you need two gats to go to sleep/ Beef is when your mom’s ain’t safe up in the streets/ Beef is when I see you guaranteed to be in ICU.”
“Hi Haters” Like Jay-Z (see below), Maino acknowledges his haters and adds fuel to their fire by listing off everything he has that they want. “Why you like that? That ain't like black/ We boss out in the club? You don't like that?/ You know you like that you wanna’ be me/ Why you twistin' up your face when you see me?”
“Live Your Life” T.I.’s ode to ignoring haters and explaining why they should thank him for all he’s done for them. Of the best hip hop songs about hate, “Live Your Life” is the poppiest and features a catchy hook sung by Rihanna. “Hey, never mind what haters say/ Ignore ‘em till they fade away/ Amazin’ they ungrateful/ After all the game I gave away.”
“Can’t C Me” Few songs bleed more hate than 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up”, but “Can’t C Me” comes awfully close. Another diss track, this one is directed at—who else?—The Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy (now P. Diddy), and Bad Boy Records. “Hey, homie, if ya’ feel me/ Tell them tricks that shot me that they missed/ They ain't killed me.”
“Hate Me Now” A classic hip hop song about hate, this tune by Nas lashes out at those who dumped on Nas for going from the darling of underground hip hop to successful mainstream artist. “First rapper to bring a platinum plaque/ back to the projects/ but you still wanna hate/ be my guest, I suggest.”
“Marshall Mathers” From Eminem’s second LP, The Marshall Mathers Album. This song is the culmination of Slim Shady’s struggles with fame, trash talkers, and haters everywhere. It's one of those songs where Eminem doesn’t hold anything back. “I think I was put here to annoy the world/ And destroy your little four year-old little boy or girl.”
“Dirt Off Your Shoulders” Jay-Z takes a different approach to the haters who want to pop off. Instead of blasting them, he recites his accomplishments and skills. Then he has the audacity to equate the haters to nothing more than dirt on his shoulder. “All the ladies they love me, from the bleachers they screamin’/ All the ballers is bouncin' they like the way I be leanin’/ All the rappers be hatin' off the track that I'm makin’/ But all the hustlers, they love it just to see one of us make it.”

If you can not do the research, I will do it for you and get the lyrics to these "songs" and you determine if they are suitable or not.

If the rap music was coupled with 3 or more angry black men, the response is yes. A very loud YES! If you think that the knock out game is a nonsense, then you need to talk to my neighbor's son. He is Jewish, lives in NYC and spent 2 weeks in the hospital because he was the victim of the knock out game. Also, account for the eye witness, the people who went on the news to laugh and explain why blacks play the game, account for the videos.

For example CDC stands for Center for Disease Control, PPH stands for Planned Parenthood. A person with average intelligence could have figured this out.

As for my concern over black children/babies/women/men/teenagers and any other group of age determinations of blacks. I could care less. I firmly believe that it was a mistake brining them to our shores. The problems associated with the mistake has haunted and hampered the US in so many ways for too many years. Too many people have died, too much money is spent, and too much time wasted in codling their feelings.

I agree. Abortion has taken on the role of birth control. This is the wrong approach. I see no harm in preventing pregnancy, but after conception then that fetus is a child. Did you know that those babies while being dismembered cry? Did you know that they have brain activity, they dream? They are people, innocent people that deserve every consideration that those living out of the womb demand and deserve. I find it so curious, for lack of a better word, that some people see a person who has cancer as an object of urgency to find a cure, or they import people from all over the world to perform life saving treatments, but those same people do not see abortion as murder.

Thank you for your recommendation, I will take it into consideration if you will consider that these black people may have made some errors that could have, should have, and any thinking person would have avoided. Just stop for a moment and think with your head. Have you taken the time to listen to the words of the rap music? None of it has lyrics about cute kittens, respect, love, or tolerance. So the young people listening to that garbage is being told that whites are "crackers", whites are always wrong, whites should be killed, whites owe blacks, and so on. Does that racket create calm gentle people or does it plant seeds of revenge for "hundreds of years of injustice?"

Given circumstances where you are afraid for your life and traveling companions, how would you have handled it? Just put up with the noise? Just make sure that it was a gun--I guess a shot to the face like the 13 month old child would do that--before taking any action? Put yourself in both places; those of the three (3 against one, good odds) black men and then turn it around and put yourself in the 60 year old place.

I will be honest, the 60 year old man was wrong on many accounts. He could have driven to another store, but I have to ask.... why should he have to? Was he not entitled to shop where he wanted without being insulated as well as assaulted? He could have remained silent and not asked for the noise to be turned down. But, again....should he have had to? Should the noise had been so loud? Was he not entitled to the freedom to shop without being assaulted with the noise? He could have made sure that the young man had indeed intended to follow through with his thread of killing him. But, would that have been too late? What do we expect from a frightened mind? Logic? No, the frightened mind does one of two things..... fight or flight.
