After you’ve read one or two of your BS links………you’ve pretty much read them all! LOL!

I’m the one that took the invoices on each house under construction to the bank and submitted them for a draw every Friday morning. I went back to our offices and I paid each account. As a convenience for the contractors that had submitted draws for the week, I delivered their checks to them at the job site.

I was responsible for each account being billed for the correct amount and then paying the accounts. That included the draws for each of the contractors. I had to account for thousands of dollars spent on each job! The bank demands accurate detailed records when you’re spending their money! And my boss was even more particular when it came to updated and accurate records on each job any time he pulled the file on any particular job………even though he was my husband and partner!

So, yes Professor, I’m well aware of the difference between a debit card and a credit card!

Did you even stop and consider that you missed making a point? LOL!

BEIJING - China's rubber-stamp parliament handed leader Xi Jinping a third term as president on Friday, an outcome that has been widely expected since he orchestrated the abolishment of term limits with a constitutional amendment five years ago.

The presidency in China is largely ceremonial; most of Xi's power flows from his position as leader of the ruling Communist Party and commander-in-chief of the military. But his re-appointment completes a comprehensive power grab that has been gathering pace and highlights Xi's dominance over the Chinese political system.

Xi was re-elected unanimously by the nearly 3,000 delegates to the National People's Congress, which is holding its annual meeting in Beijing. After the announcement, Xi bowed to the delegates as they applauded.

Taking an oath of office with his right hand held up in a fist, Xi said he would be loyal to the constitution and the "motherland", and "work hard to build a prosperous, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful modern socialist country."

At a Communist Party congress in October, Xi clinched a norm-bending third term as party chief and surrounded himself with loyalists and allies — a victory that surprised many observers, who had expected other factions in the party to be influential enough to retain some representation in the party's top ranks.

That result was the culmination of a steady and at times ruthless consolidation of power that started after Hu Jintao handed the reins of the party to Xi in 2012.

With the new mandates, analysts say Xi's reign is set to be rivalled only by those of Chairman Mao Zedong, who ruled for nearly three decades, and Deng Xiaoping, who guided China's economic opening as paramount leader for around 20 years until his death in 1997.

Xi's time in power so far, though, has been turbulent.

He has tightened the party's grip on society, limited freedom of expression, squashed Hong Kong's democracy movement, and waged a campaign of assimilation against minorities in the Xinjiang region, which the U.N.'s top human rights official said might amount to crimes against humanity.

Not one report of beheaded babies……..Not one report of any Israeli soldiers using citizens as a shield!……….please show me where any of the terrorists dropped leaflets warning of incoming bombs in Israel!

Your continual refusal to put blame where blame belongs for many of the innocent deaths is the very evidence of your being anti-Semitic………In My Humble Opinion! Your criticism of Israel is based on half truths, distortions of history and emotional opinions, not cold hard facts!

Israel should never have to worry about being attacked by these monsters again! Cut the head off of the snake……give both sides RELIEF!

Thousand-year-old eggs…………

Duck eggs coated with lime, ashes and mud, soaked in brine for 100 days until the yolk turns green and the whites become gelatinous and dark brown.

The eggs have a creamy cheese flavour with a strong smell. Sound inviting?

Bird’s Nest Soup………..

A Chinese delicacy made using the nests of a small Chinese bird, the swiftlet. The bird makes its nest from its own saliva, which hardens when exposed to air.

Chicken broth is added to the saliva to make this soup. Like many foods in China, it’s famed for its health benefits. This is common for many other China foods you may learn about.

Balut…………..

A balut is a developing duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell. Locals absolutely love them. They tell me the best part is when you tip the egg up and sip on the liquid inside.


Just kidding! I’ve never been to China and have no desire to go. I would go to Israel if we weren’t so old……..we should have gone when we were younger. One of my doctors took his wife and three children earlier this year. He is so thankful that they went when they did!

Not wasting any part of an animal is not unusual in any country. I wouldn’t choose to eat some of the unusual dishes from around the world, but if I got hungry enough I would probably be thankful for those duck embryos!

I’ve provided two examples of the threatening and antagonizing behavior of China against our military………can you provide proof of your claim?

The Pentagon has released footage of some of the more than 180 intercepts of U.S. warplanes by Chinese aircraft that have occurred in the last two years — more than the total amount over the previous decade and part of a trend U.S. military officials called concerning.

The photos and video were released in advance of a soon-to-be issued annual report by the Pentagon on the China’s military power and the security threats it may pose to partners in the Indo-Pacific.

The Pentagon has tried for years to posture itself to be ready for a potential conflict with China over Taiwan even as it now finds itself supporting allies in two hot wars, Ukraine in Europe and Israel in the Middle East.

The officials said the Chinese flights were risky and aggressive in nature, but stopped short of calling most of them unsafe — a specific term that is used only in the most egregious cases. Still the officials said it was important to release the footage and call out the behavior because they said it was part of a larger trend of regional intimidation by China that could accidentally lead to conflict.

“All of these examples we’ve released today underscore the coercive intent of (China) by engaging in behaviors particularly in international airspace,” said Ely Ratner, assistant secretary of defense for Indo-Pacific security affairs. “The bottom line is that in many cases, this type of operational behavior can cause active and dangerous accidents" and can lead inadvertently to conflict, Ratner said.
