Politics is ridiculous, so it is always an endless supply of humor. Both sides. But when taking sides, we fail to present the irony and look like vultures ourselves, a puppet show, dupes for their pageantry of abuse. I am reminded of the Jesters in the King's court.

The people are never really represented. It is simply not in any government's interest to do so. Regular placebos are administered, usually rectorally, to appease some of the crowd but always as a sleight-of-hand or distraction from the Money. The fact that we can never, ever get true representatives of we the people is too gruesome a thought to bear. So what to do about it? Stop being ideologues! Drop Party affiliation! Start thinking for yourself! End Super-Pacts! Do not give a dime to anyone in office or running for office! Make these politicians know they are useless without truly representing us. We do not need Trump or Hillary! Either one is too horrid to think about. They, our representatives, think they have us by the short-hairs. They know they can have their greed and throw us crumbs and we will go for each other's throat in the electorate and leave them alone. Let's grow up to what real freedom is and how to promote it!

America is really in trouble. Look at our choices. I would say Trump only because I like to gamble and also because it seems we have nothing to lose. And if he is elected, it should be highly entertaining. Less of a chance of WWIII as Putin is his hero and Russian hackers are undermining Hillary. At least the SCOTUS has a chance of getting back to what the Constitution designed and the Republicans have sworn not to allow with Hillary or Obama.

We deserve this predicament, I think. Too pre-occupied with the internet and "reality" shows to see reality. Liberty is the energizer bunny: it will always run free. NOT! It needs attention. It desperately needs Patriots willing to put this Republic first before everything, including ideology, religion, and party to keep this nation viable, to maintain, strengthen, and enhance this "great experiment" in government.

We the people, this nation, are exceptional! America is a precious gift from God. We need to stop playing games and get down to the business of Freedom. It is entrusted to us. We can blather and insult all we want in endless theaters of self-indulgence and ego, but we need to stop this childishness and start in earnest to work for liberty. Sticking your tongue out at a Liberal betrays your nation's trust. Engage them with the heart of democracy. Challenge them with sources and facts. Overwhelm them with what it really means to be a citizen of this great country.
