I am not even going to discuss the unfunded wars, tax cuts, squandered surplus and ruined economy. I guess that is why Jebb had to quit. His name became a liability, even though he seemed like a pretty good guy.

They need to turn themselves into IT guys. Learning is lifelong nowadays. That was mama and poppa who learned one thing and expected to be compensated 30 years.

The stats were contained in the articles. Had you bothered to read them, you would have seen them in there. Where are these 6 million unfilled jobs? That's a lot of Burger Kings.
You are welcome to believe the BLS. May I suggest you learn how to read their charts and do a comparitive analysis?

You obviously ignored my reply that shows the BLS ignores the very real fact that anyone who has never applied for unemployment, or has stopped receiving it for any reason, or receives disability payments is included in the "workforce." At a time when there are more Americans than ever before, there are fewer participating in the workforce. The explosion in Food stamps and other benefits is indicative of a worsening situation, not one that is improving. This Administration is cherry-picking the statistics that make them look good. The actual number of unemployed blacks is well over 10%, probably closer to 15%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics only paints part of the picture. What I did was use other government stats that contradict the BLS's overly optimistic picture. You did not even read your own link, much less any of mine. I suppose Liberals who already know everything can't be bothered with such minutiae.

Review the reasons for less workforce participation. Also, there are approximately 6 million unfilled jobs available. That is not Obama's fault. Myself, like many Americans will believe the BLS over you. I did not see government stats from you, I saw commentary from blogs.

This lists black unemployment as 8.8%, overall at 4.9%, a real drastic improvement from 2008. Plain and simple. As much as some want to see Pres. Obama as a failure, it is obvious that he is not one. We can only create our own reality to a certain extent. If any of you cannot see the difference in the economy now as opposed to when it was inherited by Obama, then discussing the issue is a waste because people are then trying to see only what they want to see and not what actually exists. That is fine because that shortcoming of theirs will not become mine to share with them.

Which 2016 stats do you recommend? The same ones you are not using? Your one cite does absolutely nothing to validate your claims of improvement. It is an opinion piece with some charts of dubious reliability. At least my TEN sources reference some official data.

As a matter of fact, the only cite you gave is commentary. Mine has the advantage of utilizing the government sources you suggested others check, while conveniently neglecting to do so yourself.

I believe you made this statement: "I read a while back where black unemployment is down to single digits after being at 16% in 2008. maybe you should post credible sources instead of just making statements and leaving the onus on others to disprove you."

Perhaps, instead of making unsubstantiated claims, you should post a few of your own.

Elect a conservative President and get rid of the RINO's for a start.

RINO's as you call them are your best hope for winning a national election. The rest will only win southern gerrymandered congressional districts. Plus, doesn't Hilary have a 200+ electoral vote lead before the party even gets started?

I believe the last time a president did not attend the funeral of a sitting Justice was in 1954. That would be 62 years.

So it has happened before just as I thought. I did not make whether they were a sitting justice an issue. others did. I stated something about a VP going to the funeral of a supreme court justice in place of the President, period.
