Welcome, hope you are a good addition to OPP, with lots of wisdom, facts, stories, and humor to share. We have way too many people on this site who aren't very wise or with common sense. Don't know if you just like the name Cherokee, or if you are a true native american. If you are, looking forward to hearing about your views as long as they aren't anti USA. We already know humans are flawed sinful people and we all have a past, whether as a nation or individuals. Know some of my ancestors were Cherokee on my grandmother's side. Hope you have some tales to tell... like about giants, skin walkers, Cherokee history and survival lore, as long, if you believe they are true.
When I know someone well, they can say just about anything to me and I won't be offended... but when I don't know someone at all, well, that's an attack and I punch back... have an older brother who whupped up on me about twice a day growing up, it's kind of a reflex. I finally whipped him when I was sixteen and I made a masterpiece out of his face and he never bothered me again. My dad once poked this guy in the chest (he was on our property w/o permission and had left some gates open and our horses could have gotten out on a busy road, a couple of days later the cops showed up and he had to go to court and pay a couple of hundred dollars. People are sooooo sensitive these days. Really can understand what's wrong with a good fight every now and then... as long as your not trying to kill the other fellow. And I'll never say I'm sorry because I come from good stock, ha.

I spent a good portion of my life working with animals (horses and dogs) and the the first thing you teach a horse is whoa. The first thing you teach a dog is no.
These ideas also apply to children by the way. You have to have a leader/boss. It can be either male or female (if) their heads are on straight.
A few years ago I watched a program about elephants. The big leader/boss males were killed for their tusks. The young bulls lost their father figure and didn't learn control of their emotions and fought all the time with no big boss to call time out or stop unacceptable behavior. Then they took to running in packs and destroying villages and killing people. Single moms couldn't control the young, head strong, more powerful bulls. It's called going rouge.
The park rangers were thinking of putting them down. One fellow had a brain fart and said why don't we import a big boss bull, to put them in their place, and teach them some manners on how to live with others. They did and it worked. No young elephants had to die and no more people were killed or villages destroyed. But the young bloods had to be spanked by the big bull from time to time until they learned to correct their behavior.
Every child would greatly benefit from two loving parents who make them learn about responsibility and accountability (two sides same coin). Absentee fathers is the greatest single cause of the inner city problems, drugs are second, welfare is third, and abortion is forth. But nothing will improve if you take faith out of the equation.
So Democratic leadership will never improve things, as all, big inner cities are run by dems but not "morally" run by dems, and are approaching the point of no return and bankruptcy.
That's the way I see things. I hope I'm wrong, but, when the cities can't pay their bills and the blue collar workers can't get food, the governors will have to send in the national guard or Trump will have to declare martial law to restore order.
There is God and there is Satan and they both have angel armies and have been warring since Satan turned traitor. God is fighting for us and Satan is fighting against us. It's very easy too see and God told us how... Satan comes to lie, kill and destroy. Then look at how dems operate.
Case closed, for me.

It seems that it's more a political way of life than religious... the non violent Islam people still must follow the Koran or be killed... the violent sects who will murder anyone who thinks differently isn't about peace... look at Syria, a perfect example, Isis kills anyone who just wants to live in peace and isn't a zealot. If you can't recite certain verses, your killed. Sunni and Shia killing each other for the power to be number one. Female genital mutilation is pretty radical, slavery is pretty radical, killing fellow arabs who think for themselves is pretty radical, teaching your children to kill is pretty radical, wanting them to blow themselves up is pretty radical... seems to me the Koran is a culture of death and hate. The Iranian and Saudi rulers kill their own people who think different... Islam is not a better way of life... it's a death cult.
I'm a world news junkie, I watch them all as much as I am able to. Prefer RT over CNN, ha.
