You should understand that programs like "The war on poverty" introduced by Democrats were intended to be vote grabbers and little else. What did the Nation get in return for all that spending? You ruined the Black family structure by replacing the male head of household with Uncle Sam. A Black illegitimacy rate in some urban shitholes that tops 85%. A two million plus jailed felon population made up of over 50% Black males who comprise less than 7% of the entire population. I call that SOME of the real monuments to your party.

Nowhere in the old testament (from which you are incorrectly quoting) will you find the word "sexual". Like many far right Christian extremists (a la Westboro Baptist Church), you are just "cherry picking" from Deuteronomy. If you are going to follow Deuteronomy (and not just the passages that fit your homophobia) be prepared to give up spare ribs, bacon, ham, and pork roast. You will also have to give up shrimp, lobster, crab, and catfish. In addition you will have to buy a second set of dishes, pots & pans and utensils. One set of these will be designated "fleishich" for meat; the other set will be designated "miltich" for items prepared with dairy products. All this is from an old testament passage that says, "Thou shalt not seeth a calf in its mother's milk". On the sabbath you will be forbidden to drive, tear toilet paper, cook, watch TV, build a fire,go to a movie or a ballgame, or ride in a bus, train, plane, boat, or taxi. The overwhelming majority of Jews (with the exception of the orthodox) do not follow these ancient pre-scientific prohibitions. Even those that do are not into stoning gay people nor making their lives more difficult.

What's it like to live in a country where the majority of your fellow citizens are ok with gay marriage and don't want to see their gay neighbors attacked, ostracized, or ridiculed??? What has happened here is the parents of the children are not teaching them right from wrong... meaning, sinful ways, cause they either dont believe in God or dont give a rip about a child's upbringing. If the parents aren't concerned.. the children will not be either and their children will not even believe in a God... If you will notice.. more and more churches are closing... a lot of them have .... but that shouldnt keep the people from being religious and it's teachings to their children.

There is too much sex on the internet, too much sex on TV... too much talk of it even in person. I am a straight married man with 2 grown daughters. My parents raised me with a philosophy of "to each their own". I raised my daughters that way. People should focus on their own love lives and not on what other consenting adults do behind closed doors.

I and many other people have repeatedly said, if you find homosexuality repulsive, don't engage in it. If you find gay weddings to be offensive, don't have one. Its really that simple. However you have no right to tell consenting adults what their preferences should be. The Supreme Court made that very clear in Lawrence v. Texas in 2003. That's the law. If you don't like it...tough.
