Hmm, I guess I'm a bigot also. I think most people are since they feel their opinions are the correct ones. Once in a while I like to look up a commonly used word just to be sure I haven't bastardized the definition by my own prejudices. Again, sorry to hijack this thread. And the reason I posted bigoted is because the definition I got for bigot was "one who is bigoted"!

As far as the tea party, you would have to ask them. I'm a member of the Redneck party. Speaking as a conservative, I personally am not obsessed with the topics you mentioned. Although I am concerned I must admit that my primary obsession is hanging out with my grandson, loving my wife, making a decent living, and deep sea fishing.

What do these states have in common?
They are working fine here in Texas. No miseries just plenty of jobs and plenty of wide open spaces. You should visit sometimes.
