You're absolutely right. Tariffs are about all he has left to use as a lever to push the Mexican government to pay attention. If the Democrat led House would step up and do its job, there would be no border crisis and no need of tariffs intended to make the Mexican government do what it's supposed to do - control it's borders. You won't hear any of this on the MSM and it certainly won't make the papers. The laws are there. The will to act is on a hair trigger. The funds are severely lacking. This crisis has been portrayed by certain politically motivated individuals as some racist or xenophobic attack on our southern neighbors. It is really a crisis or epic proportions because there are thousands of criminals and criminal gangs operating with impunity across the southern border and the Democrat led House has refused to fund the necessary steps to secure it.

The real crisis is in Washington where politicians are busy playing politics while the southern border burns. The real shame is that many Americans will not recognize that fact.

How many of these episodes have you personally witnessed? I spend a lot of time around armed people (men and women) and I have never seen anyone even so much as point a firearm at another person, let alone go full-on 'postal'. You seem to think that anyone who arms his/her self needs some kind of psychiatric treatment to keep their itchy finger off the trigger. Maybe that's why you shouldn't own one...
