You say that, all the brainwashing and common core will be coming to an end soon.... nothing would please me more, I assure you, but, how are you able to say this with such confidence? It’s true that our education system is meandering toward third world status, but I don’t believe the corporate governance gives a rat’s ass what the statistics show.

I would rather say that it isn't so much left or right, but politicians in general, as well as religion of all stripes. Dumbing down the population benefits both groups, in that both require faith in their abilities and dogma. Allowing critical thinking in either realm is detrimental to the power of those groups. And yes, it's been going on for decades. An example is the demand for inclusion of Creationism as an equal of evolution in the school curriculum. Once we do that, the entire process of critical thinking goes out the window because of the lack of the ability to question the theory..

The continuing resolution is a violation of fed law. Congress is charged with making a budget and presenting it to the president. The president is to sign it up or down. Now he is going to force congress to do their job and write a budget.
If the congress had the votes they could pass anything and override the president veto. When you say
the republicans had both houses of congress you twist the truth because the senate has only 52 republican senators and you need 60 votes to pass legslation in the senate.this just proves your ignorance on how the different branches work. All this crap about Rush and Laura making him change his mind is just plain msnbc bullshit,of course people like you fall for it everytime . When the idiots took over the house they were set to block all of Trumps initiatives and do all the damage they can to our country and republic along with the citizens. They don't care about anything but their power and they will destroy this country to regain it.Now if your dumb enough to vote for these anti-American tratiors thats your problem.

to pass a U.S. citizenship test in order to graduate.

Noem received extended applause and a standing ovation for this proposal
during her first State of the State address as South Dakota's 33rd governor.

Democrats said they weren't sure the citizenship test would be beneficial to students.

If it were up to you, how would you deal with the challenges of some of the issues we have facing us today. Would you be trying to destroy the president, and have him removed from office, or would you try to work with him, and hope to get good things done for the country? Would you be in favor of the wall, or would you fight him tooth and nail to keep the wall from becoming a reality? Do you think the wall is immoral? Would you be in favor of lower taxes, both individual and corporate, or would you be in favor of raising corporate taxes and raise individual tax rates on wealthy, so they pay their ”fair share”.

Just curious. I think I know where most of you stand, but, want to see how widely your views all very. Sometimes when I read different post, it’s like people’s ideas very so much, I wonder sometimes if they are even from the same country.

That's because( stupid) I was not addressing specifically the initial writer of the post- but (brilliant)I was addressing one of the replyers of the post.He was suggestive that the Democrats are traitors and they are advocating socialisim.At a time when their titular head is being scrutinized as being a traitor.Where do I stand on building a wall,I don't think a wall is a solution.Were I one of the trespassers a wall might slow me down a bit but it wouldn't impede me from gaining entry into the country.I simply would go to home Depot,buy me a little shovel and simply dig me a little trench under the wall in the dead of night.
