The people of Gaza cannot build bomb shelters or anything else because Israel controls all concrete and other construction materials being brought into Gaza. That means the thousands of homes, schools, hospitals and businesses destroyed by Israel's massive bombing campaigns are either delayed or denied reconstruction.

You avoided answering the questions posed by the anti-war blog.
By warning the civilian population, they would be warning Hamas as well. Since the bombing killed thousands of civilians it makes sense that Israel was doing just what the blogger said, warning those in the country to go to the cities and those in the cities to go to the country. Then they just bombed the hell out of everything.

If elders, small children, newborns, or disabled people are in the home, this can be a difficult endeavor. If a child suffers an amputation, fleeing will take a little more precious time.
