I look forward to the backstabbing circus consisting of all your 19 entrants. As the time gets shorter, we will be hearing the dirt on every one of the Republican applicants. Just the same as last time.

I'm not thrilled with Hillary but I must say she has more on the ball, in the intelligence department, than the sum total of those 19 fools.

Hillary's "intelligence department" has one door and one window and they're both closed. I'd say she's dumb as a box of rocks but I don't want to insult the rocks. Or the box. Can you, Alicia, give us one example of something she actually accomplished as a Senator from N.Y. OR as SecState? There was a whole 'mother thread a little while ago that went over 10 pages and no one there could come up with one. Perhaps you are more tuned in to Hillary's greatness than any of them were.

Is Ben Carson on your "official" list? I think he is just a tad, at least, more intelligent than Hillary Clinton. He doesn't have the political knowledge that she does, and he is telling what he thinks while she is refusing to talk anywhere but at places where she has salted the small crowd with her people but he should be able to beat the crap out of her.

I bet you didn't even know that he has drawn even with Bush as of today. Maybe he will make the real run, yet.

I really like Carson, oldroy but he'll never pull the ticket amd I doubt he'd be interested in Any other position altho it would get him in the know of all the crooks for later on...

Dr. Carson should stick with surgery. Politically he is a disaster He has no background in politics and, from his speeches, it's easy to see that he is a very nice guy but would end up only being a puppet. Intelligence in one area does not automatically prove ability in other areas.

Firstly and very importantly, she knows when to keep her mouth shut. That's more than can be said for any of your 19 applicants. It is the circus of the RNC that I am looking forward to. I doubt any professional comedy act could compare with that show. :D :D :D    And Carson doesn't stand a chance with that crew. As I said, he's a nice guy.

ID, Thank you for being so concerned about raylan and myself. He and I are both liberal-minded which means we have respect for all humans regardless of their color, religion or ethnicity. I will forever be surprised at how you, as a Christian, can "know" what your god thinks. What you are doing is putting your own words and feelings into your god's mouth. That's certainly a prime example of audacity and lack of respect for your deity.

All religions were created by men for the sake first, of peace, but then changed into the desire for power.

As a child I was trained in religion but when I grew up sufficiently to ask questions, religion was never able to give me an answer - only nonsense because it contradicted its own teachings.

I do hope you will be satisfied with your Revelation. For me, I'll stick with Evolution and no man in the sky spying on me all the time. Don't you realize that your man in the sky has taken away your free will? If we do have free will, I will myself to think rather than being led by a ring of fear of the hereafter running through my nose.

I was asked by the ladies of the church at which I do my laundry, what I expect after I die. My response was, "I don't know but I expect it will be quite an adventure." You may continue to believe in a creator - I believe in man.

Alicia, Ma'm, I will tell you how idsuttonjr knows what his God says and thinks. God has told us many times. For one, read I John 3:7-10. You may want to continue reading from there. God has told us through His servant what He prescribes for our life. God is goodness. He tells us how to live for our benefit, not His. It is amazing what can be gained from the Bible. If you would just let go, you will see. May God bless you. Is your belief what you have gained from 80+ years of living? Sad.

It has only been 60 years of living in which I've grown not to believe in superstition and without fear. At 20 I grew up and left foolish beliefs behind. I feel for you who have been so mentally and emotionally abused by having superstition ingrained into your minds. How very limited and guilt-ridden your lives must be.

One of my first questions was, "why does a god need a thrown? Especially one made of gold. If god can create anything, why would he desire gold. Those are mans' values. What you imagine the hereafter will (might) be with streets paved with gold and all the food, etc. you desire and not having to work for it, is a fantasy. I enjoy my life, I enjoy my work and I enjoy learning about this wondrous world/universe I live in.

I was informed by a neighbor who is 7th Day Adventist, that there are now seven levels of heaven. When does the BS stop? He finally admitted that he was bisexual but, even though this is against the teachings of the church, he holds onto his religion which considers what he does as SIN! This is definitely a case of brainwashing. No thinking nor honesty involved in his life. He cannot even admit that he is being a hypocrite.

Thanks, but I'd rather remain honest with myself. Who was it who said, "To thine own self be true." What a great cop-out when one can believe that no matter what harm I do during my life, all I have to do is accept Jesus before I die and I'll go to that great fairyland in the sky.

Oh, I do recall my childhood friends saying, "Oh, you committed a sin. God's gonna punish you." Evidently you've been raised to believe in punishment. I don't. I believe in enjoying this universe more than you because it's the only one I can guarantee existence. Religion created sin and banks on ignorance. I've read the bible and, although in places it's quite poetic, so are other writings.

Thanks, but no thanks.

Alicia,

Concerning Hillary, I'd like to hear what you think about her using her own server for official business and then destroyed it without any neutral party reviewing the data.

Certainly "Intelligent", but HONEST??? This is what you want in your President? (PLEASE Don't excuse it the typical liberal way by saying all the Conservatives are dishonest too, as if that makes it OK, ?)

Thanks for being honest, Alicia. Everyone puts his trust in something. You are free to choose. Nobody will coerce you to believe a certain way (except one religion who might chop your head off) That would certainly be a wise choice wouldn't it? You will find some in every belief that have "gone off the track" so to speak. I have chosen to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. You may worship the Sun or anything that seems to satisfy you. I will not be forcing you to do that. I Peter 3:9 tells you how God feels about where you end up. Have a happy rest of your life.

Hey, Geezer, you haven't heard anything yet as far as that Clinton clan goes and what they will do. Of course, the die hard left wingers will not buy it no matter how obvious. 19 months and counting.
