The military will not participate in it unless its local and as regards to an awful lot of rioting and looting, which given the vast discrepancy between the haves and the have not's could be a real possibility.

But simply martial law, nope, the military will NOT participate.

My experience in the military informed me that enlisted personnel must follow orders from superior officers or face court martial.

By the way, the U.S. military participated in the largest terrorist attack on the U.S. in history and then lied to the 9/11 Commission to cover up their crimes.
