Payne,

You missed nothing as far as discussion goes..

Even our MSM has been commenting on Jade Helm

While the military seldom uses private land, it has been done a number of times.

Most of this operation will be conducted in remote areas of Colorado and Utah..

I do not think that anything was said about dressing in civvies for this operation, but not positive.

The map,--On Camp Pendleton, we did a few war games. Local maps were used and hand labeled with place names to denote enemy areas and allied areas. These were made up on the spot and some were amusing.. Maybe the DoD has a liberal who felt marking Texas as hostile was funny..

I think the only reason to watch this operation is the vast size of it.. We have a case of giving so much money to the pentagon and DoD, they have to find creative ways to spend it..
Payne, br br You missed nothing as far as discuss... (show quote)

The DoD spokesman on this "drill" already verified that many of the Special Forces soldiers will in fact be in civilian attire.

Also;
There have been many reports of foreign troops training in the US, as well as foreign UN troops and its machinery.

Well payne; the chief airhead, Archy Bunker, continues to show his ineptitude to back up his positions.
Liberals must love him.
He just keeps digging his whole deeper:-)

As I said earlier, the only defense a troll can muster is ridicule and character assassination.

You avoided explaining why some of the Jade Helm troops will be wearing civilian clothing and are being trained to blend in with the local populations.

Lt Col Lastoria even went so far as to explain that the troops in civilian clothing would be learning to note the differences in clothing worn in different parts of the U.S. Judging from the reaction of the Texans who attended the Bastrop Commissioners Court where Lastoria spoke, Texas is hostile territory.

Payne,

I have not seen anything about the troops in civilian clothing from what I see as a reliable sources..

If i posted a rebutle from MSNBC or Salon, would you consider that reliable?

Reread what I posted, I did mentions Texas and the Map labeling..

It's already been established that the Walmarts mentioned will be used as "launch centers" for this "exercise".
This was mentioned in a town hall meeting at one of those locations.

Easy there big boy....this is merely a discussion.
No need to go all "postal" on others who have different views and opinions on this matter than you may have.

Go postal? I'm trying to throw in some common sense here, some of it based on my own experience. Now, if you want to jump on the paranoia bandwagon be my guest. Me, I would much rather use my common sense.

BTW, show me some proof (you know photos, etc) of these Wal Mart stores being used as staging areas. Even if they are being leased to the military for this exercise...so what is sinister about that? They're also paying local ranch owners to conduct exercises on their land too.

Yes, I know of two off hand...and, there are others. "Bold Alligator" and "Robin Sage" to name a couple. We had several when I was in the military, but I don't remember the exercise names off hand. A part of the country/state is declared hostile and the idea is to infiltrate and beat the baddies...it's that simple. I have even been in an exercise where we were the hostiles, and we won the exercise. It's just an exercise. And, if you look at the exercise terrain, where in this country are you going to find Middle east type of terrain like Texas and Utah? I am not sure why Nevada is not included, but could be because of logistics...who knows.

Ineptitude??? What is your experience, pal? I don't give a rat's rear if Liberals support me on this, I at least have not lost my common sense and refuse to buckle due to paranoia.

Although I agree with you WM....I always hold out a bit of my "always question authority" mentality I acquired in the 70's.
I wonder what "Bold Alligator" and "Robin Sage" stood for?

This was interesting:

They don't stand for anything, or mean anything. They're just names. Some one in a strategy meeting, usually a bigwig just blurts out "let's call it Bold Alligator" or "Jade Helm." They're strictly out of the blue.

And, that Zen Gardner conspiracy theory is just that, a made up theory. You show me an official Operational Directive that depicts that definition and then maybe I'll believe it.
