Excusing rioters: How media have shifted blame for the Baltimore riot

I have to get my news in this form from MRC and places like that since I just don't waste my time watching the left leaning media trying to shift blame for things like this one. The mayor wouldn't allow here police force to wear any protective gear other than those shields they got to carry and I wondered about how much those pre-formed pieces of concrete hurt the shins when they made contact.

Oh well you can see what the media was using all along to make the police look like the bad guys and the youthful rioters look like the good guys. I especially like the one who blames the hiring of military veterans.

Yes Roy, I see it. Baltimore is democratically controlled and it's going to hell in a hand basket. It seems the blacks all have the "You owe me" syndrome. Where the hell did personal responsibility go?

As far as the six police officers that are charged, I don't think they did anything wrong. Freddy Grey should have been at home recovering from his neck surgery, and not out on the street causing trouble.

I hadn't heard about that surgery till today. Oh well, the police have been blamed by the media and leaners aren't likely to believe anything else.

You're right, It seems that all they need is some little excuse to riot, steal, and burn things.

Having trouble figuring out what we are supposed to own. Programs have been available since at least 1966.

We get that number by looking at what the poverty threshold is. A little over $11,000 for an individual adult. There’s a little under 50 million people in poverty so if we gave them each $11,000 then they wouldn’t be in poverty. Problem solved and over for that cost of around $550 billion.

You got the title to your post wrong. It should be: News Media Caused Riots

Of course they're going to report the most attractive story to keep the cameras rolling. Not much to report and continue watching if the truth was simply told at the beginning.

Blacks wonder why no business want to set up shop in their areas.

I bet CVS won't be replacing that drug store any time soon. I did hear the man who owned the shoe store that was looted the next day and he said they would restock and repair the building but he is a resident of the area and CVS is a corporation owned business. I wonder how many of those kids who rioted really give a damn where old people have to go now.

I don't think the news media was responsible for that riot but I sure do think that social media was responsible for it more than any single other thing. Those kids were pretty well prepared for after school with all those hand sized pieces of concrete. I doubt the media really organized all that.

I have to agree with that but what makes them social, I call it the anti-social media!

I guess the common name social media has to do with how simple it is to pass things around on it. I have never figured out how to post on FaceBook and people have stopped trying to get me to do it. Twitter and all that crap turn me off, too.

I used FaceBook for about 5 months, stupid games, insults and several people hacked, one losing $8000 from an account. People get hacked because they don't take care but it was regular posts that made me say that's enough.
