I'm not Rufus, but I just can't keep my tongue any longer! you asked him to comment on his freedom in the 50s and 60s. Then you named Reagan and the 2 Bush' s. You do realize they were not presidents in those years???? Right!!

"you named Reagan and the 2 Bush' s."

No I didn't Tex, he did. I want to know what he as a black man's freedom he had back in the 50s and 60s.

I have to ask; why do you guys continue to play into Badbob's hands and feed his ego? He (and much of his ilk) are a cross between a trap door spider and an angler fish. They don't know or don't care about Obama's policy's or actions, they just love the reactions generated by their simplistic goads. It's mainly a transmogrified version of the "I know you are but what am I" mantra. Much of the discussion on this site quickly degenerates into a latter-day CB name calling contest.
There's a lot of good info on this site, but trying to learn anything by engaging in name calling is only raising your blood pressure and stroking their ego.

You're dead wrong, I care very much about "Obama's policy's or actions". I support and approve and if they drive the Wackos bonkers it's icing on the cake.

Good point.

I can't speak for Bob, but in my case, I do care about Obama's policies and actions, and while I don't agree with all of them, I think he has steered a moderate course to get us out of a very deep hole we were in when he took office. I think his administration and the Democrats in Congress have been way too easy on the big banks, which still seem to be going about their extremely risky business with little or no oversight, and I think the Affordable Care Act (modeled on a plan drawn up by conservatives, although now they disown it) was a misguided attempt at getting bipartisan support (though the Blue Dog Democrats probably wouldn't have supported a single payer plan anyway). It seems like a lot of ultraconservatives on this site blame Obama for the sun rising in the east.

Did you enjoy having to ride in the back of the bus, have the freedom to go to an inferior black school, the freedom not to be able to eat at Woolworth, the freedom of segregation and the freedom not to have a good job?

True freedom cannot be given or taken away by man. Only through Jesus Christ can we find freedom. He gives each of us that chance and it doesn't matter what color we are. Rufus has that freedom. I hope if you don't, you find it someday. That was a childish, cruel thing to say to Rufus. And you libs call us consv racist !!!!!!!!
