There is no doubt in my mind that various and sundry Obama appointees are slowly using the "Race to the Top" money to work out state curriculums.

Here is an example of what I have read over and over about Common Core and how it is being used to determine what is being taught in cash strapped public schools in the 46 states that nibbled at the carrot when Obama put it out there in front of them. Follow the money and you have the whole thing settled.

Common Core is insidious, and is slowly working its way into the accepted educational standard. It is gaining strength, mainly because of the detachment of parents from the school system. I have spoken with several parents, and they are 100% oblivious to what is happening in their schools or even to understanding the curriculum.

It is going to take Grandparents to be more involved and regain control of our school boards and our schools.

I think your last sentence was one of the most reasonable suggestions I have seen here in some time. My boys are long out of school and have no children but I do believe that too many of our parents have already been taken care of by progressive education. Maybe we old people just have to get involved in this situation to keep progressives from completely stealing another generation of kids.

If your strategy is to just to yell and fight, then you have already lost. You may win a few skirmishes with it, but you will never effect a victory. This situation did not happen overnight and it will not be resolved overnight. There must be a plan for after the yelling and fighting or the Evil will just keep arising over and over. Each time the consequence will become worse. Everytime you rant on about what you are going to do, you put yourself at a disadvantage and doom your efforts to failure.

Yeah ok ,while your using your pen to fight tyrrany ,the tsa has their fingers up your wifes ass. That pen of yours is being used to take your god given rights away. How's a pen gonna help you when your 1st ammendment gets taken away,because when americans lose their right to defend themselves your right to free speech will be gone my friend. I have no strategy as you say. Not sure there's time to stratigize we can only react. The ptb are in full control. We can only resist and yell from the mountain tops. I for one will not go quietly ,talking bout how or what their gonna do about this lastest ff is just dumb. The fact that common core is being taught to our children should show you that they could care less what we think. Is it crazy what cc is teaching yes ,is it crazier to try n talk about what we can do about it I would say that's insane. What if any power to change do we the people have.
