I may be wrong, but as sedition has various definitions - levels of sedition - I believe it would be seen as illegal. IOW, citizens can rebel, but should be ready to pay the price for defending their freedoms - just as our founders had to do. Some of them died horrible deaths for their actions that gave us America, the America that some wish would die, the America our President and his wife seem to hate.
Sorry, but from a strictly legal standpoint, sedition is a Constitutional right. There is collateral damage in any conflict and people die, but you have your choice...wring your hands and moan about loss of life, one of which might be your own....or defend yourself.
