When the 2nd Amendment was written, ALL of the people were considered the Militia. What about the ", the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed," or does that part of the 2nd Amendment not register with you? If you research the intent of the 2nd Amendment, the 2nd Amendment wasn't about hunting or target shooting as many of the gun grabbers imply. It was so that armed citizens could revolt against a tyrannical governmet that failed to abide by the Constitution...something like we have now. Why do you think the Socialists want to find every last excuse to disarm citizens? That's what the Communists have always done before taking power and killing their opponents. Research what Bill Ayers said about "As many as 25 Million citizens may have to be eliminated in order to achieve our goals." Nancy Pelosi once said, "We have to get the guns first in order to have Socialism succeed." And no, it isn't about "the children." If that were the case, automobiles would be banned for all of the deaths they cause: over 30,000 last year.

I may be wrong, but as sedition has various definitions - levels of sedition - I believe it would be seen as illegal. IOW, citizens can rebel, but should be ready to pay the price for defending their freedoms - just as our founders had to do. Some of them died horrible deaths for their actions that gave us America, the America that some wish would die, the America our President and his wife seem to hate.

There is a big price to pay if citizens don't rebel. The idea that Socialists think that they can micro-manage the lives of citizens, many of who are superior in intellect than the busy-body Socialists, is a joke. I will not allow myself to be led by power hungry idiots, nor will I voluntarily give up the few guns that I have. The history of gun confiscation has been the death of millions who were unarmed or disarmed. The dreamers would say that such killings couldn't happen here. I disagree. Who would have ever thought that this country's government could be taken over by a subversive administration? ANYTHING is possible with the present administration or their stupid followers.

lets face it...all of this is nothing new, but recently (past decade or so) this has reached critical mass to the point of total internal chaos. but i was around when all of this started. this could be construed as the 2nd big bang theory...demise of this country. this time frame would be the middle to late 60's...a major mistake. i was 10 during the summer of love. now don't get me wrong. i had a real good time. don't even remember parts of the early 70's...but i grew up. these times were known as the big bong theory. these were also the times where tradition, folklore, inguinuity , morals and values were laughed at...you know...the same as now. when 2 students were killed at kent state by the guard in 1970, much of mainstreet america thought many more shoulda died...same as now. on the same page here? people back then knew what we have now would happen. cancer spreads throughout time. itz been 40 years since the diagnosis. when roe vs. wade went in effect, i saw the writing on the wall. 10 years before abortion law, we had 'i love lucy' for cryin` out loud. if thatz not fast-forward change, then i don't know what is!! thank god for the 2nd amendment `cause thatz what itz problably gunna take to put morals and values back where they belong...not where they are now...in some dudes butt!!! check out this poster. this is a good read not because i wrote it?, but because i'm the same as most...on the bottom. sh*t rolls downhill, right past all these haughty-taughty writers who never went hungry and lands on people like me and you. anyone from a stoner to a PHD(Piled Higher and Deeper) can understand this. look up 'cesspool jones' on facebook

Thank you for saying it like it is! Citizens will eventually rebel because many of us know what will happen if we do NOT. I believe there will be a rebellion, and our government is the one and only cause for it. People can tolerate having their backs to the wall for so long before they react in the only way available to them. You'll note this administration has been removing as many methods of citizen reaction as possible. They've essentially closed down the press, the courts,the rule of law, and the Congress. At the same time the left has been stirring up as much racial and class animosity as it is possible to get stirred up. And the voting booth is a sick joke it is so riff with corruption BY POLITICIANS. Tell me what is left as a means of reacting to an oppressive government besides rebellion. That rebellion can take any number of forms, and the smart Americans will take great care how they rebel.

We the citizens must rebel but sedition is legal it is in the Second Amendment as written by the founders and fothers of this country for just such a cause as this when the present government becomes tyrannical we must overthrow it with our state militia's.

You expect him to leave the WH when he wants to be the first dicator of this country if we do not leave the union or rebel against the federal govenment or have a revolution against it how else do we stop him. The Senate will not impeach him as they are democrats too the house can only do so much with them being rebublican Sedition is written in the constitution as a right for states to leave if the feds are tyrants and I call forcing Obamcare and tryingto infring on the second amendment pretty tyrannical acts not to mention the amount of money he has gone through since becoming president he acts like he is a king already and his wife is right there with him spending in the french riviara buying from highly expensive shops for clothes etc.

If changes can't be made with in the system the system will die. If peaceful actions do not work. the mess will be too great to overcome. Check out how the police are being armed to step in when any group will try to be heard. No matter what you think any real threat from massed people will result in a police state.

for whatever reason 'power' is now a 4 letter word. there are 2 societies in this country...traditional and the one that was hatched some 40 years ago. came from out west...wouldn'tcha know it! one is writen in stone(traditional) and the other is socialist. my question is...what side would the armes services take?

The Union is fragmenting more and more daily. Things haven't been this bad since the eve of the Civil War.
It appears the Democrats will continue to profit from the changing demographics much to the discomfort of those clinging to conservative values. Instead of a military takeover which would lead to disaster, why not a loose confederation of States? A State would have the power to reject/disregard Federal guidelines on any existing law. Be it same sex marriage or the saying of a simple prayer at the beginning of a public school day.
We are heading for a revolution. Just pray it's bloodless.
