SHRINKING AARP IS LOSING PLENTY OF SENIORS... AARP'S FALL FROM GRACE.
THE LADY THAT WROTE THIS LETTER, NOT ONLY HAS A GRASP OF
‘THE SITUATION’ BUT AN INCREDIBLE COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!

Her letter was sent to Mr. Rand who is the Executive Director of AARP. It only takes a few days on the Internet and this will have reached 75% of the public in the USA ..

Dear Mr. Rand,

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. This isn't what you were looking for, but it's is the most honest response I can give you. Our coverage gap is a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith. While we have proudly maintained our membership for years and long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse its abdication of our values. Your letter stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours.

Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not necessary. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent. This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.

Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP once gave us a sense of belonging which we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama Regime and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. Clearly a conflict of interest there! We do not understand the AARP posture, feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years and leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities and values.

This Obama Regime scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage. But more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don't have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist Mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery, but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities.

Your web site generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING??? The illegal perpetrators have broken into our 'house', invaded our home without invitation or consent. The President insists we keep these illegal perpetrators in comfort and learn the perpetrator's language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them. I DON'T choose to welcome them, to support them, to educate them, to medicate them, or to pay for their food or clothing. American home invaders get arrested Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get? Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break and enter to be welcomed?

We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current Regime. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America. Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than ones that are driven by a need to yield AMNESTY (aka-make voters out of the foreign lawbreakers so they can vote to continue the government's free handouts). This addition of 10 to 20 million voters who then will vote to continue Socialism will OVERWHELM our votes to control the government's free handouts. It is a "slippery slope" we must not embark on!

As Margaret Thatcher (former Prime Minister of Great Britain) once said "Socialism is GREAT - UNTIL you run out of other people's money".

We have decided to forward this to everyone on our mailing list, and will encourage them to do the same. With several hundred in my address book, I have every faith that the eventual exponential factor will make a credible statement to you. I am disappointed as all get out! I am more scared than I have ever been in my entire life! I am ANGRY! I am MAD as heck, and I'm NOT gonna take it anymore!

Walt & Cyndy Miller,
Miller Farms Equine Transport

Bim Bam, thank you mam.

Dear Mr. Rand,

Thank you for stating the facts on the present state of our glorious country.

I also notice that any time we disagree with the present administration we are regarded as traitors, troublemakers and racists.

I also hate when Social Security is stated as an "entitlement". Perhaps
folks never noticed that we paid for that fund and it was looted by politicians

Sincerely,

I pretty much agree with the Millers although I continue my AARP membership I realize they are only out to make money for themselves and will hold any political view that helps them get more money. However, that is true of almost all the information services that publish, play music, broadcast or in any way contact people.
I first learned the hard truth while recovering in an army hospital from Vietnam injuries. We got to watch only one TV news show on Sundays CBS 60 minutes I believe it was. They showed a combat scene like it was just happening when another soldier, in our group, piped up and said he was there when the film was being taken. We were all confused as he had been at the hospital for a few weeks. After some discussion he convinced us he was right and Walter Cronkite was showing old video footage to keep people watching.
That is when I and hopefully others realized that the news was only interested in selling advertising and they could care less about the truth. No one on the TV said it was old footage, they played it like it was just happening.
As the wise man said believe half of what you see and less of what you hear. A good YouTube show called Zeitgeist, which is a movie explains things pretty well in terms of economic gains and losses although it gets pretty upsetting when you realize we are doing this to ourselves.
That is why I support more direct control of the government by the people. I believe Lincoln said something to the effect that "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can not fool all the people all the time."
No matter if it is AARP, Facebook, the News (any of them) or any other group if they are selling something they will get your attention anyway they can if they think it means a sale. Take everything with a grain of salt and sometimes you need the whole salt shaker.

for the Millers:
Please check the current and past Republican Congressional voting records and positions regarding illegal immigration. 'It'is certainly vastly more onerous than those of 'wayward' Democrats current voting records and reasoning. The last large immigrant amnesty program was a Ronnie Reagan/REPUBLICAN debacle! And -yes--insurance is a 'socialist' and liberal concept--from the many to help the many (sorta like TAXES-heh-heh-heh). But government social programs ain't free!! One of and perhaps the most salient difference between government 'insurance' and all private programs is PROFIT! And here is a question to help prove my point: why does 80% of my health insurance cost about $100 dollars-the part I pay the GOVERNMENT for-and the remaining 20 percent costs---$175 dollars- the part I buy from a private insurer--AARP in fact? It is a false and continuing 'myth' that socialism is a 'bad' thing and unworkable. Many other nations use the 'concept' and implement social programs quite successfully right along with and from within a democratic form of government. Most of the opposition to socialist/social programs and services come from those with 'something to lose'---big medicine, doctors and health insurance companies come to mind right away! Who do 'folks' think is responsible for all the lies and distortion about ACA. Hmmm!--Simply follow the money!

As soon as AARP came out in 2009 for ACA I dropped them and went to AMAC. I hope AARP goes belly up. They betrayed the people. People have to realize what is being done to them. Until they do all the frauds will keep winning.

I left AARP many years ago due to their support of Obamacare which I strongly disagree with. I have found only one place in which Obamacare is for the SEniors in this country and that is by closing the Medicare Gap so we don't have to pay full price for our medications during a majority of the year but by majority it hands out money I worked for as social security and medicare to people that just arrrived here and cannot speak english one bit we bend over backwards to learn their language and hand them free money, food, and insurance to live on and they did not work one day for this what we worked for is gone spent by politicians and the fund was setup by FDR to never be touched by anyone that did not pay into it including politicians but they act as though is is their personal fortune and spend ,spend, spend, and the rest is handed out so it becomes an entitilement insead of a definate pay for us to have in our retirement years and medicare is raped to the point that insurance makes the money that wasmeant to go to the doctors we need in our older years it is a shame we have no place like thisto run to to get paid and taken care of for free and not ever have to work for it at all as what we didwork for is gone. I found I did have to turn to AARP medicare this year as there is no medicare advantage plan that matches it yet but I plan on shopping for a good plan for next year as I do not feel right supporting in any way an organizithion that has totally turned it's back on us the people it is supposed to support.

Obamacare was written by Soros and Keynes and if socialism works so well even socialized medicine why are so many Brits, and Canadians upset with their system.Socialized anything simply does not work and the Obamacare bill being 2700 pages long couldnot have been written by one person especially Obama as a Freshman Senator just how much help he had to write it and exactly from whom is questionable even more questionable is how a freshman Senator all the sudden became President of our nation no one knows anything about him even if he is a true citizen of this country from what I have seen he cannot be defeated or killed for some reason and I believe that rason is he is the beast risen from where that beast wold come.Socialism worked so well in Germany the world had to step in and destoy that country do you want that to happen here by allowing Obama to continue his path to socialism and muslim beliefhe is anything but Christian that was only a show to get him elected just as his marriage is a show to make him look normal you will never se a photo of Michelle and him hand in hand or arm in arm always have the kids between them as though that is the only bond between them.

SHRINKING AARP IS LOSING PLENTY OF SENIORS... AARP... (show quote)

I have read Cyndy's letter and she makes her and her husbands position very visible.

I have never been a member of AARP because it is just another business that is SUBSIDIZED (not socialism) by the government according to the size of their membership which makes them open to political persuasion. Membership is required for many of their satellite co.s. hence a requirement to join.

I have a feeling that the Republicans would surely stop any illegals from voting inasmuch as they are trying to stop US citizens from voting.

I personally would only join a not-for-profit senior org. Since their use of subsides used to title money going to big business and socialism is for dead beats...I would replace the latter with the word SURVIVAL.

Most of those living off government survival money didn't quit their jobs ....they were taken away from them because of a very economy destructive trade policy with the backing of the Republican party.

As with the illegal immigrants...who profits more while they work here? There was a motion to fine employers for hiring them, (fines would pay for personnel needed) that idea dropped dead real quick because it would hurt their business. Since then its just a political football.

I see that you appear to be an educated person and have a hand at writing a letter to the point...I suggest you right a letter to your Rep's and put some tacks in the envelope to wake them up.

Having seen only ONE person that disagrees with your position may I suggest that most of your equine customers are Republicans.

I am Rebublican but far from rich was forced to retire to disability and the new Democratic Regime is cutting into my Disability income and medicare by giving it away to those illegals that just got here or have not been here long enough to have worked for the same retirement benifits I am entitled to so the Dems have changed this social security to an entitlement program which requires no prequalification or work to build any amount of money to retire on it is just handed to them food, money, and insurance and the AARP backed Obamacare that did just this to people like me and I am not alone out here doing without income or medical coverage it is being taken from all of us that worked most of our life's to have this to help in the instance I find myself in forced to retire from a good paying profession in Physical Therapy due to Back injuries on the job.I did try to continue in my field but found that there was a lot of bias aginst me for having injured my back on the job which I did catching a patient to keep him from falling and breaking his other hip great repayment for doing the right thing to be cut off from carreer then gradually Social Security due to a change to a Democratic (socialistic) President his medical plan is socialized medicine which has worked so well in the countries it is tried in that people try to leave those countries in mass.
