Over the weekend, we came four votes away from
the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the
United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure
that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations
Arms Trade Treaty.
The Statement of Purpose from the billread:
To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from
entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The U.N. Small
Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,
would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of
small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in
the U.S. , and had language that would have implemented an
international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give
away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Voted to Give your 2nd Amendment Constitutional Rights to the U.N.
And just how many of those "dastardly do-bads" were Republican?
In fact; how many were Southerners?
Go ahead, point your finger at the "band of traitors."
It is no accident that the first two amendments listed on the Bill of Rights define our freedom speak out and back it up with firearms.
Amazing how far into the future our founding fathers could see.
No Republicans I see but I see Nelson of FL on there and he will receive a nasty phone call in the morning.

Unfortunately Nelson continues to seek votes from the Yankees in his district. That and the fact he is a yellow dog Democrat.
When you call him; feel free to tell him that The Cracker wants him to start acting like a Florida Cracker and not like a "Damned Yankee." (is that two words?)
Have already called two of his offices on this so maybe some more and him what hell he thinks he's doing.

in matters of principle, stand like a rock.

This story is from back in March, 2013. The UN Small Arms Treaty has now wormed its way back up and is due for another vote. Obama has sworn to support the treaty and believes he now has enough Senate votes to ratify it here. If not, he plans to ratify it by Executive Order.
