A New York Times review of Bill Ayers book, which incidentally was published on 9/11/2001, starts with the following: ''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.'' http://www.nytimes.com/2001/09/11/books/no-regrets-for-love-explosives-memoir-sorts-war-protester-talks-life-with.html

Amazing what liberals consider "a responsible citizen".

Amazing what Marxists consider "a responsible citizen". Cedarstrip, I am not trying to correct you because I agree. I just like to call a spade a spade. Liberalism, socialism, progressivism, communism, pinkos, etc. are all from the same tree and all eventually lead to the old soviet elitist style oligarchy dictatorship. And look how many people these groups exterminated to get into and to remain in power. Never be nice to them, call them what they are. Attack, attack, attack!

All politicians have skeltons in their closets and all politicians lie. You can tell when a politician is lying because his lips are moving.

Ronald Reagan entertained the Taliban in the White House and called them Afghan freedom fighters.

Remember When Ronald Reagan Met With Taliban Leaders In The White House?

Not really Poco624, since Reagan was President from 1981 to 1989, and the Taliban was, by most accounts, formed in 1994, it just ain't so. In the 80's they were probably called the Mujahideen, and they were fighting the Russians (Dec. 1979- Feb. 1989). Calling those Afghans "Taliban" is a big stretch of the facts, or if we're really honest, a big lie.

Part of the information age dispensers tactics in lies is the twisting of the truth to justify their wickedness. Of course the last 4 generations have been indoctrinated in public schools to swallow their lies.

As a 3-4 grader in the late 1930's I thought it was awful that the United States did not join the League of Nations. I thought everyone thought like we did. I have also discovered selective hearing since then. I have also realized that what I think someone is saying is not what they mean. Their words make me think they are saying what I want to hear. Sometimes a person will tell you what they want, and you have a very different idea as to what they are saying. I guess they call it spin today. Some people are very good at telling us what they are going to do, but we hear it differently or what they tell us slips by at the time. To me it seems that our President is very good at this. A likable personality doesn't hurt a bit. Put a winning smile along with it also goes a long way. Of course our nature is often to accept first impressions, and also hating to admit we are wrong. And I also believe that Executive Privilege can mean, "I'm up to my eyeballs in it so bug off." Also when Ms Rice is confronted with five appearances, and "He" responds with "Why don"t you put the blame where it belongs," we accept it. Many times the best defense is a good offense. Thinking people often don't think, and if we fess up right away it's okay.
