KHH1, you are ashamed because the Texas Attorney filed suit against Obama for his executive action? Correct me if I am wrong but you are of the liberal persuasion aren't you? Does it matter to you what the happens to this country and it's people? I know you don't believe this government would do anything to hurt the people. I know, there aren't any black helicopters either. The government has bought up all the emergency food that they could, bought up all the ammunition they could get their hands on, like millions of rounds for the IRS, Think about that for a minute. What you really need is for a couple of those Texas red necks to take you out behind the barn and give you an attitude adjustment. If you don't like what Texas does then get the hell out of there, but please don't come to Montana, you think Texas is bad Montana is much worse.

Texas is leading a multi-state coalition suing President Obama's administration for its executive action on immigration.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday alleges that Obama's executive action “tramples the U.S. Constitution’s Take Care Clause” as well as federal law.

The states of Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin — and the governors of Mississippi, Maine, North Carolina and Idaho —have joined the State of Texas as plaintiffs, according to the lawsuit filed in federal court in the Southern District of Texas.

"President's job is to enforce the law — not to make them,” Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott said at a press conference in Austin on Wednesday formally announcing the lawsuit.

Days after Obama’s Nov. 20 announcement that he would protect upwards of 5 million undocumented immigrants from deportation via executive action, Abbott vowed “swift action,” CBS Houston reported.

Obama is set to meet with Abbott and other governors-elect Friday at the White House “to discuss the ways in which the administration can partner with states in promoting economic opportunity and expanding security for middle class Americans,” according to the Dallas Morning News.

Abbott, a Republican, was elected last month to succeed outgoing Gov. Rick Perry. This will be Abbott’s 31st lawsuit against the federal government since 2009.

This is actually beneath me; but you asked...
If you don't like where you live...move! You won't change Texas. It is what it is. Sorry, we don't serve your kind around here!!
Maybe in Austin, or your mom's basement this kind of hope lives on;but not the majority of the state. Move somewhere else and get over it!

ab, your are correct. I'm still here at my folks house outside Dallas. This is were I grew up and Austin is a wuss city like 99.9% of all college towns. Khh1 is either a transplant carpetbagger or just had the football taken away from him too many times when he was a kid. Archie, I've gotta get up there sometime and shoot the breeze with you. As for kalid1, he reminds me of mr. Magoo driving, he's always running someone down.

correct again. Just like a child who doesn't get enough attention from his/her parents will act up for the fact that any attention is better than none. Gotta feel sorry for cats like that.

If this "do-nothing" congress would do their job the president wouldn't have to take this action. The republicans in congress can't make a real budget that works for all of America so they sure as hell can't do something that might make our borders more secure, they profit off the illegals that work for more republican business owners than any other party. They profit off the illegal drug trade too, they sell guns across the border. I have seen a bit of that. Bush was the one who started the fast and furious crap and it was set up to fail after he left office to make the new guy look bad.
I am an Independent and wish that Senator Sanders would run for the white house, he would be a level headed man to do the right thing for America. He wouldn't suck up to corporate and foreign interests that don't have the best interests of Americans in mind. When I say Americans I am speaking about the flesh and blood people of this country, not the plastic and paper people called corporations, who only care about their profits aka the bottom line, and not who gets hurt in the process of making the profits. I will step this up a bit now. Any Texan who actually is a real true christian isn't when they vote for or support a republican, they are the most hateful and greedy people I have ever met, a most godless lot of perpetual sinners. Jefferson would roll over in his grave again when he sees the republican party of today. He wanted there to be a dozen parties in the government and for all the people to vote every election
not this weak assed number we get today, about 35% of the people vote and less than that in the non-presidential elections, we are far from ever being anything that might appear to be a democratic republic where the people control their government.
The republicans are the true communists here, they want a single party to rule just like is was in the old USSR or in North Korea and China, with no actual freedom or liberty for anyone who doesn't agree with their 19th century commie ideals and anti-science education system. Without true science Texas would be a totally polluted oil sludge pit, your oil refineries would not work without science so you can stuff your ancient religious superstitions about it being the work of the devil. They proved the world was round 200 years before Columbus set sail. So now you can get off your fences, stop watching the Mexicans do all the real work and get your hands dirty you ball-less pig-boys and join the real world.

??? You're all over the map! Lemme opine, for what it's worth. Establishment Republicans and Democrats want the same thing...their only real beef is who gets to run the show. True conservatives and true liberals have both been betrayed by the leadership. Progressive Fabian Socialism is the cancer that's eating America. Rand Paul looks the best to me so far.

If we elect either Rand or Ron Paul all American merchants may as well sell all their ships and our Navy and have only the Coast Guard as they will not dare leave the coast of the U.S.

Yes. If Rand or Ron are elected to the POTUS position, I especially worry about Israel; who used to be our ally before 2008!!! Funny how the un-vetted czars [and others]of this liberal progressive administration are leaving "BB" wandering around, alone, in the cold foyer, while sitting down at a comfortable dining table for another extravagant and very expensive meal at the WH!!! Funny peculiar, not funny ha ha!!!
