In your Southern Californian opinion did Reagan's amnesty for approx 3 million illigal immigrants resolve our immigration inconsistancies? Did Bush's amnesty stop or even slow down the tide of people illegally coming across our borders?

Will obama doing the exact same thing only perhaps a bit more of an end around congress than Reagan did going to achieve fixing our immigration concerns?

So I ask again does it make sense to keep giving people an incentive to break our laws or should we find a better way.

You do realize that if they are given SS numbers there be nothing stopping people who are not may not ever be or even want to ever be US citizens from voting.

And I took some heat for this yesterday but as soon as they come out of hiding and into the light and become legal workers we will know exactly who they are where they live. When common sense is vogue again it will be easy to round them all up, put them on buses and ship them back to Mexico. We can then let the mexican gov figure out what to do with them.

What's best for our country? To indiscriminatly let in millions of unskilled workers or strike a balance between what our economy needs and what people get to come here legally.

We already take in over a million immigrants legally per year, more than every other country combined.

Shouldn't we be the ones who decide who gets in and who doesn't and not people who break our laws to do so.

Long term hispanics are conservative Christians who care about their economic futures. So as liberals you should be very careful of what you wish for.

If people get along, it really doesn't matter which group has the most demographic representation. In 2013, Hispanics became the largest demographic in Calif, surpassing Anglos.

Barely a ripple. No marches, no rallies, no panic. You know why? Because for decades Anglos and Hispanics have shared neighborhoods, schools, dating, marriage, children and grandchildren.

The state's Hispanics have not overturned anything. The governor, lt. gov., and both U.S. Senators are still non-Hispanic whites, who work quite well with their Hispanic constituents.

A multi-cultural society only becomes a problem when you make it into a problem.

Pure bred pedigrees may be fine for horses and cattle---but the country has decided---not for human beings.

Our president is working to see to it that 4-5 million of your hard working, undocumented neighbors are not going to be deported anytime soon. This is not the same as granting an amnesty to 40-50 million people.
