Oh, and just one more thing: how do you get "random" out of my comment?

Your thoughts are very disjointed and disconnected.

Still waiting to hear about why a two veto president is such a tyrant.

Well, you should know. And you should know why, as well.

I thought you might have liked the fact that I upgraded you from "vegetable" to "animal" status.

Guess not.

Can you not explicate/implicate into the future, Brian?

Still no answer on the two veto-tyrant thing. Still bedeviled with "crickets"?

My timing was off.

What does "crickets" have to do with it? You have completely flummoxed me, for once.

Perhaps my thoughts seem disjointed and disconnected because you find it hard to make logical connections, if there appear to be missing links.

Anyway, think of my comment as a stimulus to thought.

Just thought of a little story that might explain what you consider the "randomness" of my thoughts, and it stems from my studies in math and mathematical proofs:

When you're following along in a proof, and you get to a step where the mathematician asserts: "Clearly, then, A follows from B", you know you're going to be spending at least the next 3 or 4 days and nights "connecting the dots", in order to see exactly how A follows from B.

Long nights ahead for you, Brian. I think I told you to brush up on your logic, a week or two ago.

What the hell does crickets have to do with this? What am I missing here? Is there some kind of sexual connotation that I'm just not getting?

Crickets are those little insects that rub their legs to make a chirping noise. When you sit outside on a summer's eve, with your spouse, and there is a lull in the conversation......the only sound you hear is "crickets"------as in no talking, no human communication, with words.

Google: crickets

Sexual connotation of crickets? Probably best to call Bill Cosby about that one....

Oh. Rather romantic, actually.

Oh, for God's sake. Did you not get anything out of my posts on the "He did it first" defense, and how that leads to exponential growth of encroachments? Engage your brain!!

What is BO going to dictate tomorrow?

His whole attitude is: I'm doing this and there ain't no way you can stop me.

What is he going to do to Israel? Remember, his MO is "Give them what they want, and they won't hurt you." And they want Israel. He'll be able to do that with an EO, as well, if We the People don't stand against him.
Oh, for God's sake. Did you not get anything out ... (show quote)

The working class stiff is ignorant. Republicans were EOing to laws passed by Congress. Therefore, they did not bypass Congress as BO (body order.)

Pretty random Carol, don't you think? I never did find out why our president, who has the least vetoes in modern American history, is some kind of tyrant? The Arab-Israeli conflict is not germane to what was being discussed.

If you want to discuss that some other time, I will be more than happy to give you a few history lessons on that conflict. As a Jew, with an undergraduate degree in political science, and as someone who has spent significant time in Israel (as well as having Israeli family members), I suspect I might know a tad more than you do.

It would appear that your "Israeli family members" were more intelligent than you since they evidently asked you to leave while disowning and disavowing you.

Actually I get along quite well with them. They always have a warm welcome.
