Obama will not sign any health care plan passed by Republicans that would replace Obamacare. Never!!!!

If they come up with something that increases people covered and controls cost why wouldn't he? It is obvious he will never sign a repeal and the idiots in congress have tried that over and over why not a great replacement bill?

I'll tell you why he wouldn't. His ego and narcissistic nature won't permit it. He wants full credit for this POS and the repubs are going to have to settle for parading a bunch of vetoes for the US to see, providing there will be some way for the MSM spin to be shown for what it is. When the full result of disaster becomes more visible, that will help but I'm afraid that will be too late.

byml1-spot on !! This monster is not workable unless the young and healthy agree to pay the high premiums to offset the lower premiums afforded to the lower income people. Transfer of wealth by the government has never worked. They are finding out that the American people are not as stupid as they thought they were. This was a sham from day one and the democrats in congress bought into it line, hook and sinker. Some are now crying in their beer while others are trying to justify their votes. If subsidies are denied by SCOTUS the plan will self destruct. Good Luck America !!!

His ego is too big to admit the GOP could come up with a better plan than his.

If the republicans realy want rid of the ACA all they need to do is pass something that is better to replace the ACA. If they present a plan that is better at expanding coverage and containing costs than the ACA all they need to do is pass it which will be easy next year then the new law will replace the ACA. If the ACA is as lousey as all those bitching about it say it is it should be easy for the republicans to come up with something better to replace it rather than more and more failed attempts to repeal. It is time to stop being the party of No! Come up with something better or STFU.

Brian why would they waste their time that can be better used on things obama isn't assured of vetoing, the SCOTUS will do its job and that will be the end of it. Then we can work on fixing what was really standing in the way of affordable, accessible healthcare.

You make a lot of sense CL. I just wish I had as much confidence in the SCOTUS doing the right thing as you do.

Thank you, there are 352 bills passed by the house sitting on Reid's desk. The senate would have to pass a bill every 2 days for the next 2 years just to get caught up on what he has been sitting on for the last 6 years.

I think we need to have faith the SCOTUS has the wisdom to make good decisions.

Of course they did. In fact several of them said they did. I guess you tuned out all the ads too. I did watch and listen to everything. Remember "Romney care"? BTW, I'm not a progressive either, I really wish you folk could get your definitions straightened out, you know between progressives and liberals. I'm not one of those either, just observant and just to be clear - I didn't say anything about a BETTER plan, just that they have to do something.

Romney care was a Ma.health care system and never was proposed by the GOP for the nation. You progressive liberals hear what you want to hear.

What you are calling his plan is a close copy of Romneys, the improvement needed is to allow a single payer option. This was shot down by republicans.

The Supreme Court will gut the subsidies to people in the 33 states without exchanges. That is the way the law is written.

So begins the death spiral for UrkelCare.

The ACA will go to the place where all bad ideas go to die.

How's that for replacing that load of lies known as the ACA?

It works for me.

Good, it needed to be shot down. Perhaps you want to sell your life to the federal government but thinking people do not.
