In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 103

Bless the Lord for He is good and His mercies endure forever. He blesses us every day with His presence. He gives us sun light to grow the flowers for beauty, and food for bounty. The sun lights up our daily path. We take it for granted, usually not thinking to thank Him. We have taken our freedoms for granted, not thinking to thank Him for the wisdom used by our founding fathers. Now we must ask Him to help reinstate those freedoms. Lord, keep us mindful of our need for You.

Then at night, He lights our way with moon and stars. The stars have been used as a compass, a guide upon the oceans and the land. They are still there in the early morning, there to greet your new day. The soft beauty they provide is so gentle, again, we seldom think to thank Him. Night and day He provides, night and day we go about our lives, how often do we stop and just say, "Thank You, Lord?" Now, we see what is happening, now we are on our knees, now we call to Him, thankfully, He hears us.

Bless the Lord O my soul, for He alone is worthy. We thank You, Lord, for waking us to action, to prayer and resolve. Our eyes have been opened to the need, and finally we open our mouths to speak. We do not want the new socialist system, we want the tried and true system You bring, we trust only in Your leadership. Men have proven their inability to be honest and just. Come back to our nation Lord, lead us and keep us. In the name of Jesus, we pray to You Father - help us. Amen

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of Solomon son of David, King of Israel and your servant.

Praise for the Lord’s Mercies
A Psalm of David.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.
Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Psalm 103:1-22

Please protect the innocent, and those who defend the innocent. We ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"
Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus... (show quote)

As is obvious, I am late this AM.I see we have one hymn already; however, another cannot hurt, especially this absolutely wonderful hymn to start our week with....especially for SWMBO!

Amazing Grace

1 Amazing grace how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found,
was blind but now I see.

2 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed!

3 The Lord has promised good to me,
his word my hope secures;
he will my shield and portion be
as long as life endures.

4 Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come;
'tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.

5 When we've been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we've no less days to sing God's praise
than when we'd first begun.

Remind Me Dear Lord

The things that I love and hold dear to my heart
Are just borrowed they`re not mine at all
Jesus only let me use them to brighten my life,
So remind me, remind me, dear Lord.

Nothing good have I done to deserve God`s own Son;
I`m not worthy of the scars in His hands
Yet He chose the road to calvary to die in my stead;
Why He loved me I cant understand.

Roll back the curtain of memory now and then;
Show me where You brought me from and where I could have been;
Remember I`m human, and humans forget;
So remind me, remind me, dear Lord.

prayer for psalm 103

Father God, Brother Jesus, this is a psalm of praise to your goodness and tender mercies to those who are your own. It is also a psalm of quiet warnings, may we enjoy and enjoin in the praise, while taking heed of the warnings.

May our Lord be praised forever thru Christ Jesus, Amen

All that we have done and continue to do and God still is steadfast in his love for us. When I think about that it is amazing that he has all that love and it is free and so few people are willing to accept it. Sometimes I feel that I have so much love for God but I am but a piece of sand compared all the love in God's heart. Thankfully he loves each and every one of us with all his heart. How comforting is that!!😍

His love, mercy, and grace are overwhelming. We have taken them for granted, now we had better keep the prayers going, and remember to whom we belong. He is so deserving, so worthy. Praise Him with all your heart.

Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus Christ be with you all. Let us pray,
"In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of Solomon son of David, King of Israel and your servant.

Praise to the Sovereign Lord for His Creation and Providence
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, You are very great:
You are clothed with honor and majesty,
Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,
Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters,
Who makes the clouds His chariot,
Who walks on the wings of the wind,
Who makes His angels spirits,
His ministers a flame of fire.
You who laid the foundations of the earth,
So that it should not be moved forever,
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters stood above the mountains.
At Your rebuke they fled;
At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
They went up over the mountains;
They went down into the valleys,
To the place which You founded for them.
You have set a boundary that they may not pass over,
That they may not return to cover the earth.
He sends the springs into the valleys;
They flow among the hills.
They give drink to every beast of the field;
The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
By them the birds of the heavens have their home;
They sing among the branches.
He waters the hills from His upper chambers;
The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.
He causes the grass to grow for the cattle,
And vegetation for the service of man,
That he may bring forth food from the earth,
And wine that makes glad the heart of man,
Oil to make his face shine,
And bread which strengthens man’s heart.
The trees of the Lord are full of sap,
The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,
Where the birds make their nests;
The stork has her home in the fir trees.
The high hills are for the wild goats;
The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers.
He appointed the moon for seasons;
The sun knows its going down.
You make darkness, and it is night,
In which all the beasts of the forest creep about.
The young lions roar after their prey,
And seek their food from God.
When the sun rises, they gather together
And lie down in their dens.
Man goes out to his work
And to his labor until the evening.
O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all.
The earth is full of Your possessions—
This great and wide sea,
In which are innumerable teeming things,
Living things both small and great.
There the ships sail about;
There is that Leviathan
Which You have made to play there.
These all wait for You,
That You may give them their food in due season.
What You give them they gather in;
You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
You hide Your face, they are troubled;
You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.
May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord rejoice in His works.
He looks on the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the hills, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
May my meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord.
May sinners be consumed from the earth,
And the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Praise the Lord!

Being choir mistress gives me certain privileges. In this instance, it was to choose one my favorites as opposed to the hymn shown most prevalently.

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

1 Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
there is no shadow of turning with thee;
thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
as thou hast been thou forever wilt be.

2 Summer and winter and springtime and harvest
sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness
to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. Refrain

3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Refrain

Refrain
Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
all I have needed thy hand hath provided.
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

As a personal note, this is the hymn defining our Veterans. Their faithfulness, in serving our country, is great.

Prayer for
PSALM 104

Lord, there is so much to pray for today - where to start! We will start where we should, forgive us our sins, then we ask that You bend Your ear to hear our prayer. A young boy committed suicide because no one came to his rescue. Lord, Your Word says, "It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble." Our hearts bleed, save the children! We bring before You Mia, Delcy, Tito, Cenaida, and José, have the judge save them from the same outcome. Save the Children, Lord.

We pray today for all our military, more are being sent back to Iraq. Send Your angels with them, keep them safe we pray. We have a new member to bring before You, Lord - Rufus. Come upon him and change his taste buds so he just walks away from drink. Since we are bringing needs before You, be with Roxy, and Dave, they need You. Best of all, is when we have a praise report. Thank You for bringing Richard home, and having him be his old spunky self. Help him to continue to mend. Needs grow, but so do our numbers Lord. Our need for You is a constant.

We bring to You sad news, glad news, our needs, and our praises, how helpless we are without You. Thank You for having us know You. Thank You for being there to listen, to care, and to answer prayer. Today, Your Psalm unfolds before us the wonders of our world. Wonders You have placed here to offer us the opportunity to appreciate them. Although the wonders are breath taking, we know they are miniscule next to what You have in store when You return, when You reclaim the world for Your own. Keep us Yours, Lord.

Our prayer, keep us close Lord. Hold our hand, our heart, our soul, hold them close to You. Never let us go without You. When we rise in the morning, be there with us. As we go through the day, protect our way. Have the food we eat bless our body with strength. Keep Your image in front of us on into the night, and then to a new day. In the name of Jesus, we bring our prayer to You. Lord, we worship You, praise You, and thank You. Amen.
