Just a reminder
I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day:
I had so much to accomplish,
That I didn't have time to pray

Problems just tumbled upon me,
And heavier came each task.
Why doesn't God help me? I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty
But the day toiled on, grey and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me,
He said, "But you didn't seek."

I tried to come into God's presence:
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning
And paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.

All People That on Earth Do Dwell

1 All people that on earth do dwell,
sing to the Lord with cheerful voice;
him serve with mirth, his praise forth tell.
Come ye before him and rejoice.

2 Know that the Lord is God indeed;
without our aid he did us make;
we are his folk; he doth us feed,
and for his sheep he doth us take.

3 O enter then his gates with praise;
approach with joy his courts unto;
praise, laud, and bless his name always,
for it is seemly so to do.

4 For why? The Lord our God is good;
his mercy is forever sure;
his truth at all times firmly stood,
and shall from age to age endure.

Prayer for
PSALM 99

Lord, we ask that You return to us, we need You. We need You to be our sword, our shield, and our banner that we may march triumphant against Satan. Hold us close, Lord, wake the sleeping giant that has won battles in the past, let us not rest on past laurels. Let us rise from the ashes to once again be leaders in the fight against evil, against the strong arm tactics of Satan. We know he will be vanquished, but never let us rest until that day. Strengthen our resolve to be winners, winners in the race for righteousness.

You, Oh Lord, are a forgiving God, and we are wayward children. Draw us near, hear our confession of faith and forgive our sins. Wash us in the blood of Jesus that we may once again be righteous and worthy to enter the gates before You. We saw our need, and we came to the foot of the cross to seek Thy presence. In all the world, we know You are the One, the great I AM, that we want in our lives. Oh, once again walk with us Lord, be our mighty leader, be our buckler, sword, and shield. Thank You Lord, thank You.

The night is long, but each day dawns new. Today is a new day let us not waste it, let us now be vigilant and move forward. Let our light shine, let us be about Your business, and let us go forward with energy and resolve. You will win the final battle, but let us fight with You to the end. Keep us alert to remember that we rejoice when we answer to righteous authority, but groan under wicked rule. Let us continue to turn to You in prayer, praise, and adoration for You alone are worthy. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen

When I don't take time to pray in the morning I always am thinking "What am I forgetting!" I there are times when you wake up you already have a hundred things going on in your head and you start off to do them and then you realize you forgot the most important thing "Pray". Thank you Semper-fi for a gentle reminder. =)

Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus Christ be with you all. Let us pray,
"In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of Solomon son of David, King of Israel and your servant.

Promised Faithfulness to the Lord
A Psalm of David.

I will sing of mercy and justice;
To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.
I will behave wisely in a perfect way.
Oh, when will You come to me?
I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
I will set nothing wicked before my eyes;
I hate the work of those who fall away;
It shall not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me;
I will not know wickedness.
Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor,
Him I will destroy;
The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart,
Him I will not endure.
My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land,
That they may dwell with me;
He who walks in a perfect way,
He shall serve me.
He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house;
He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.
Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land,
That I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord.
Psalm 101:1-8

Please protect the innocent, and those who defend the innocent. We ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

O for A Heart to Praise My God

1. O for a heart to praise my God,
A heart from sin set free,
A heart that always feels Thy blood
So freely shed for me.

2. A heart resigned, submissive, meek,
My great Redeemer’s throne,
Where only Christ is heard to speak,
Where Jesus reigns alone.

3. A humble, lowly, contrite, heart,
Believing, true and clean,
Which neither life nor death can part
From Christ who dwells within.

4. A heart in every thought renewed
And full of love divine,
Perfect and right and pure and good,
A copy, Lord, of Thine.

5. Thy tender heart is still the same,
And melts at human woe:
Jesus, for thee distressed I am,
I want Thy love to know.

6. My heart, Thou know’st, can never rest
Till Thou create my peace;
Till of mine Eden repossest,
From self, and sin, I cease.

7. Fruit of Thy gracious lips, on me
Bestow that peace unknown,
The hidden manna, and the tree
Of life, and the white stone.

8. Thy nature, gracious Lord, impart;
Come quickly from above;
Write Thy new name upon my heart,
Thy new, best name of Love.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 101

We come before You, Lord, with humble hearts, we seek Your refreshing waters to lift us up and strengthen us. Never let us drift from the mission before us, prayer for our Nation to return to You. We let our freedoms slip into a minefield of regulations, now we face a battle to restore them. Our only battle plan is prayer, prayer and Your mercy to forgive our past ineptitude. It has taken us to the edge, but we now are alert to what is at stake. Now, now we come to You, pleading and hopeful.

As the winter comes to give our stretch of earth rest, have our reserves be freshened and working their silent strength to be ready for the spring of new beginnings. Let our faith ignite the light within us to burn as a beacon to awaken others to follow You. We must step forward for our children, they belong to You and it is our responsibility to train them up in the way they should go. Bless our efforts to re-establish Your Word as the guide of our nation. We thank You for blessing us, as we await Your return with longing.

No matter what the fight is, no matter where it is going on, open our eyes each day to appreciate the beauty You provide for us. A sunset with an array of colors spread the breadth of the Western horizon; and at night, a huge, bright moon to smile down through the trees at us. Picture perfect scenes just for our enjoyment. Enjoy each one, they are priceless treasures for our heart. We offer our prayer to You, Lord, in the name of Jesus our Savior, all praise and honor goes to You, Lord. Amen

The Saturday update on prayer needs and answers will be coming - this week has kept me behind with other projects, so do watch for those needs, but of course the answers are best.

I bought some stronger coffee, it's good, but it amazes me how quickly it gets the brain fluids flowing and snaps the body to attention. Well, on to finish my entries for the day.

When it comes to prayer, remember why Jesus was always heard by His Father - He gave God His heart and His time, God in turn gave Jesus His ear. We can all learn from that, if it is important give God your time, you have given Him your heart.

SATURDAY PRAYER UPDATES - NOVEMBER 8

Everyday should be a call for mercy, somewhere in the world people are under siege and they need prayer. We certainly need it here from the Progressive agenda.

Kurdish fighters are still holding Kobani, but now there is concern for Afrin. Keep these fighting men in your prayers, they are doing a fantastic job of holding off the ISIS.

We have many troops still in harm's way, every day keep them before you, and their families. We can only surmise how much stress their absence creates for the families at home.

There has been no major news about Ebola in the US, but don't let that relax your efforts of prayer to keep it out of our country.

Have not heard any updates on Richard's condition, but he has a long road to cover. The more we keep him in prayer, for all those broken bones, the sooner he will be back up and in fighting shape - OK, I use that loosely, but that's what we can aim for.

Ranger has patience and faith, we pray that job listing comes soon.

Though I have not heard otherwise, I assume Christopher remains the same. He has a really long road to recovery so keep him in prayer. Also, Slatten is on the 'road again' (as far as I know) and probably listening to Willie sing that. Let's keep him in prayer until he returns - safe and sound.

LindaJoy's aunt had a setback this week with the finding of two more swollen lymph nodes. Prayer and a miracle are what we look for. Our Lord can do all things, trust.

Roxy's Dave may be able to travel in a couple of weeks. The doctor wants him little stronger. As if Dave on Roxy's mind isn't enough, she is having some problems of her own. Her cartoid artery is quite occluded, and we need to pray the Lord will touch it and open it. She has some other health issues that the doctor has on the backburner right now, so just keep in prayer for a whole body healing.

I heard from Zyro, and was told what a comfort to know that we care enough to pray for her. Time heals the pain, but walking through the storm can be difficult.

SOME GOOD NEWS

NPP says that Pete's adoption is final, what a relief for him, Npp says the relief shows in his more relaxed demeanor. Thank You, Lord. Also, David is showing progress, but still has a long way to go to learn trust, self-worth, and learn how to move beyond the past. Keep both boys in your prayers as well the loving, kind individuals who work to help them mend.

The mayor of Houston is receiving lots of heat yet, keep it up, your prayers do have an effect. Last Sunday there was an “I Stand Sunday,” gathering of big names to support church freedom from the harassment of an over- zealous mayor. Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, Mike Huckabee, and others stood up for them, there were huge crowds. Hooray, prayer works!

We pray all is going well with Rainrider's new job. It looks quite positive Sarah has the job she applied for, but still waiting for some papers to arrive.

Well, another long list, keep busy, God does hear us and He has given us new hope for our government to work a little better and for the people's interest.

May the good Lord bless all of us with His love and grace, and keep us close to Him. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

P.S. If you spot errors, or have updates, please keep me posted.

Thank you for taking so much time to update us like this. It is very thoughtful of you to do so. Here's a video showing the plight of just one Christian woman fighting the good fight in a hostile environment. I hope it brings you joy and thoughtful reflection as it did to me.
http://youtu.be/tt2AYafET68
This video made me think and appreciate the wonderful life I have here in the United States. We are so blessed my friends. Could we live like her if called too?

Thatched an amazing video! The fact that she kept her faith through all her 70 years is a testament to us all. She truly has the love of God. Thank you for sharing!
