I am of Cheyenne descent. I read these forums and all I hear out of the left is "teatard" "Conservatard" etc..... faux news, lies, stupid etc.

There were ,and still are so many things the white, and brown , man can learn from the red man. We were so intent on getting land we never stopped to understand the first Americans. There strong value of Family, Nature, and Sharing. No one has had it harder then the Red man. I had the privilege of working a long side these man in the building of N.Y.C.. They reached to the sky. They are fearless , strong and dedicated to what ever they put there minds to.. If I was not an white AMERICAN , I would be proud to say I am a, AMERICAN INDIAN.......

Very good post and it truly is a shame what our politicians have done not only to the American Indian but also to us. It seems that we humans for the most part are a trusting lot and the politicians use it against each and every one of us. I have long respected the American Indian and personally feel sickened that our government did these things to them and they did them all out of one common thread and that is greed. Greed seems to be the one thread that runs through our government on every level.

Welcome my friend. You may ask why do You say friend? I say: I am one white man that is on the side of the native peoples. I see that every American president before the 21st century ought be tried in absentia for genocide. Of the 10s of millions of native Americans only a handful lived. Yes, killed off, murdered for their land ande if they fought back, "bang."The holy Americans have stained this land with the blood of it's native people. Took all their land and gave back that which no white man wanted. But, when gold was discovered, or for that matter, any time they wished, the white man would take any thing of value from native Americans. Black folks say we had it bad we were enslaved by the white man. Indians say, you had a cake walk you were not virtually wiped from the face of the earth. The Great White President, the great Indian fighter, The great white father who killed 10,000 native Americans during the Cherokee Trail Of Tears. The great Andrew Jackson, the great Jackass president who ordered all Indians East of the Mississippi moved West of the Mississippi. Wounded Knee murder of 250 men, women and children. We import thousands of foreigners every year. Legal and otherwise, while we fail to support the native peoples. In my county of residence. Lake County, Ca. there are multiple reservations. The poverty is indescribable. But 4 tribes have casinos so they are doing much better. If I can use an analogy, it would be as such: Mexico is moving on the USA to take the land area. Would we fight back? Of course. Did white Europeans have a right to take the land of native Americans.? Why are we still keeping then in the most adverse poverty the world has ever seen? I have heard so much about the plight of Negros in America. I have heard little to nothing about the status of native Americans. Where is the racist main stream media on this subject? I rest my case for the moment.

Welcome. If I am reading your comments correctly, it appears you are making the conservatives a minority suppressed by the "govt" along with the people of color and gays.

You say you have read these forums and somehow only managed to see vile comments by the left. I have been here awhile and although I have not read every single thread started so it may have escaped my notice, I have yet to see "teatard" or "conservatard" though "Faux News" and "stupid" are fairly regular comments by some on the left, and I am sure a few lie as well.

Should I take by implication that the conservatives are pure and never say anything like "libertard" and "democrap" and "commie" and "brainwashed obamabots" and "stupid" (to name a few)? The same conservatives that were for DOMA and against gay marriage? The same conservatives that are having a mini-civil war over immigration reform for our hispanic neighbors?

If this is your first post here, perhaps you need time to read a little more.

One important tidbit: The Cherokee sued Andrew Jackson for taking their land. The Supreme Court ruled that the gov. had to pay the Cherokee. Andrew Jackson replied, supposedly, let them bring their army to enforce their decree.The constitution says, "there will be no taking of property by the gov. without just compensation." When presidents are so powerful that they can blatantly violate it's directives the people need to exercise their right to remove them from office. And that is another issue which I will address in further posts.

Very well said. I am in Arizona and always thought the native Americans got a raw deal. It has just amused me to hear the average American complain how much money they lost at the Casinos here. The Red Man finally won one as they own the Casinos here. Now we need to bring the Indians in to run the government.

I have been aware for many years now that in school we were taught about the settlement of America from the reference frame of the white man. We have not been presented with the native American's side. If we had there wuld be much more support for native peoples. In my county, Lake country Ca. there is a plaque on the side of the road that says "Historical Monument Bloody Island" Site of the slaughter of a whole Indian village by the army on the morning of ---188-. There plaques could be all over America by the thousands.

Lol, what? I was perfectly respectful and tactful. I am not quick to "cut someone as stupid"; nearly anyone here will tell you that. You are reading what you want to read. But of course that is your right.

That may suit how you see things, I suppose, but a blanket condmnation of ALL liberals in his first post is worth addressing. What I suggested was to take some time to read other posts and get a more balanced look at things.
