Perhaps you are right. I would suggest that you keep on cheering on those people who wish to see the redefinition of old people, as others were redefined and reclassified in 1933. And when it come your time, step up and get your tattoo, be sure to place your shoes in the right container along with your glasses. After all, it is no more than a shower!

Perhaps you have given up on our government and do not think that there is hope. For me, I will care for my aged relatives and cherish each day my God allows them to remain with us. I will keep voting for people that have a proven track record, and I will continue to pray that we as a nation start to stand up and become more than bushmen, or a semblance of a brutal and uncompassionate tribe.

So, do go ahead, be as nasty to me as you wish. I will not return your hatred, I will simply pray for you.

Don't mind Ginny. She misses EVERYBODY'S point. All of us knew what you were talking about, but Ginny is stuck on arguing and cannot bring herself to even agree with people who agree with her. I don't think she even realizes most of us were fighting this before she even came on the scene.......government control. And she still thinks WE citizens control the government. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It controls us to the maximum degree it can get away with controlling us - and that is why it is afraid of us - we MAY cause them to lose control. IF I could control the government, I'd have a good part of them arrested. Government can arrest. Citizens cannot. Government can fine. Citizens cannot. Government can confiscate property. Citizens cannot. Etc, ad nauseum.

ginnyt you've kicked sand at both of us, I'm guessing this topic hit must have hit a pretty raw nerve. Neither of us condone the deliberate euthanasia of the elderly by the gov or anyone else. Life is a gift to our souls, allowing us to know and share it with "G".

To devalue it in this way leads us all down a very dark path in deed.

It sure did, you see I am Jewish. I lost plenty of family starting in 1933. Never again we said! I learned from my grands about how it began. It began with a notion that was feed every so gently to the population, and the idea got planted, then it grew. People marched out of their homes, and not just Jewish. There were the people in mental hospitals that were killed because they were sick. The gypsy because they rebelled, and more. Now I see the seeds being planted here, even into the minds of our aging population. They are not young, they have nothing to offer, the US would be better off without them draining the economy. Now it is spreading, because more are beginning to believe it.

Life is a gift, from babies to our elderly. None are expendable. I can not tell you how deeply I feel about this. I am nonviolent, but if someone should come to my neighborhood to haul away our wisdom, our aged, then I will fight. And whenever, wherever I hear or see this type of propaganda being spread, I will fight. And I will be alright with people calling me names or saying that I do not understand. It is alright, because it is they that do not understand that when evil is planted then the fruit can be nothing less than evil!

I find that I am too emotional about this idea and therefore logic is escaping me. I am ordinarily systematic in research and I try to present my thoughts and ideas in a manner that is considerate of everyone. But, I guess this is just too personal for me to be unemotional. therefore, I am taking this off of my watch list.

Thank you for your time and your comments. I did not intend to be offensive to you or anyone.

[quote=Ricko]ginnyt-i have a simple philosophy about death and dying. I believe that when I lose QUALITY of life I am no longer living but merely existing. I do not believe anyone who is in a nursing home surrounded by sick people and being fed through a tube wants to continue living. I realize that religion enters into it but we put sick animals to sleep and allow sick humans with no quality of life to linger on and suffer silently. I believe, that over time, society will change and people will be given a choice as to whether they want to take a pill and go to sleep permanently or linger on. We allow murderers to exit this world by lethal injection but keep good people who are hurting around until their heart finally ceases to beat. I believe that in the not too distant future, Advance Documents will include a person's desire to be allowed to exit peacefully when quality of live is no longer there. That decision should not be made by the government. Good Luck America !!![/quote

sicko We allow murderers to die, no we execute them for the wrong they committed and we are far too sensitive towards their rights and the way they die. Electrocution is the only way to kill these murders and should be watched by all. And I agree that if we are allowed to butcher and murder unborn or being born Babies why are so many Liberals against a person that is dying or has a terminal Disease to end his OWN life its his, not the Governments unless its a Communist Government like the one Obamination is shoving on us.

I am 72 and going strong. I read with interest what was said about the knowledge and wisdom that comes with age. HOWEVER, speaking from experience, no one wants to hear it. Our ideas are antiquated and our experiences out of date with the modern liberals and, unfortunately, many of the normal people as well. In the last two years I have remained lucid enough to have written two books, the first, The Philosophy Of An Old White Man, and the second, Knowing The Holy Spirit (the last is available on Amazon).
I chose to write on a religious subject not only because it is an important subject but also it is a subject which, if you do as I do and stay with the scriptures, it doesn't change. Man changes - God doesn't. In like manner, when I look up a word I use an Oxford Universal Dictionary first published in 1933 and last revised in 1955. Just like the liberals try to change what God's will is, they also change the meaning of our words. But then I have the wisdom and knowledge to recognize these things because I AM OLD and plan on getting older - with or without government approval.

Do a search on Fabian socialist. Read a book called "None Dare Call it Conspiracy". In short, get a clue.

OK, I looked it up. What does that have to do with what I said? Are you implying that you think I am socialist or do you just not communicate well?

I apologize for the rude behavior of the other person. Allow me to help you out.

The Fabian Society is a very old group originating in England in 1884, with the purpose of forming a single, global socialist state. They get their name from the Roman general Fabius, who used carefully planned strategies to slowly wear down his enemies over a long period of time to obtain victory. “Fabian Socialism” uses incremental change over a long period of time to slowly transform a state as opposed to using violent revolution for change. It is essentially socialism by stealth.

To give you an idea of the type of world these people would like to ‘remolds’, here is a quote from George Bernard Shaw: “Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well.” The ultimate Nanny State, with no free will or right to choose; you are owned by the elites and discarded when you are no longer any use.

Fabian Society members founded the British Labour Party, the London School of Economics, the International Court of Justice at The Hague, and were largely involved in the creation of the UN and the League of Nations before it. They have enormous influence in global matters, yet hardly anyone knows who they are and what they stand for. They are very strong advocates for the Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming pseudoscience because they are the types of people who have hijacked the environmental movement in order to use it to their political advantage. Their intent is to use environmental issues as a means to cause people to unite and demand that the issues be fixed, intending us to demand a global government that has the authority to ‘fix’ global warming because sovereign national governments lack that ability. The UN’s Agenda 21 is an example of a Fabian Society program that sets international requirements for how people must live, learn, travel, eat and communicate. Its sole purpose is control of people, not protection of the environment.

Fabian Society members have infiltrated national and regional governments worldwide, some of them control governments. Local Fabian Societies will often describe themselves as ‘left-leaning think tanks’ and the like, to try and deceive people as to their true beliefs. Understandably, many members are often reluctant to admit their affiliation.

Socialist is too soft a word to use for these people, their idea of a perfect world more resembles a system “fascistic at its core and administered through a form of scientific socialism.” The result is a ‘communitarian’ society where individualism must be relinquished for the betterment of the state. I think most of us don’t want to live in a world like that, but our leaders have made up their minds and will not stop striving for it regardless of what the public thinks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explanation. I am knowledgeable of all that just never put it together under the name of the Fabian Society. I am still not sure how that relates to what I said originally.
