The National Debt

When Obama First Took Office The National Debt Stood At 10.6 Trillion. Currently Our Debt Is 17.5 Trillion. In January 2017 When Obama Leaves Office The Projected National Debt Will Stand At Over 20 Trillion Dollars. This Is An Outrage. President Obama Will Have Doubled The National Debt In Only 8 Years. He Is Crippling Our Country & Putting Us In A Terrible Position Of Weakness. Former Presidents Have Added To This Crisis As Well. The United States Must Address Our National Debt As An Emergency. Leadership Must Come From The Top Down, This Is Why Obama Should Be Setting The Example & Not Take Vacations That The Country Cannot Afford. Millions Are Spent When He Travels To Hawaii, Ect. Even Though That Small Amount Of Money Saved Is A Mere Pittance In Comparison To What We Owe, Thats Not The Point. The Point Is We Have A Massive Crisis & By The President Not Taking A Vacation, It Sends The Message That The President Understands This Enormous Problem & Will Begin To Sacrifice A Few Luxuries In Order To Bring Attention To This Problem. The Important Issue For The President Is To Begin Solving This Debt Problem Immediately. We Need Specific Solutions And We Need This Leadership Now.

Same crap we always hear from the right. Presidents don't spend money. Congress does. Read your constitution.
Also, he has put forth ideas, and congress has said that they are dead on arrival.

So What Your Telling Me Is President Obama Doesn't Have The Ability To Veto All This Money That You Seem To Think Congress Is Spending? The Article I Wrote Was About Leadership. You Also Mentioned President Obama Has Put Forth Idea's To Reduce The National Debt But Are DOA Upon Reaching Congress. Please Let Me Know What Those Idea's Were That Were Rejected & How Much Those Idea's Would Have Reduced The Debt?

...and the House has put forth ideas and Reid and Obama said they were DOA - with the big difference is only one set of ideas actually dealt with the debt and deficit - surprisingly not Obama's
