How much more can they thumb their noses at this country, how much more can they do to show us how little respect they have for us?

Because for what ever reason, Congress, the FBI, The Justice Dept., the Supremes, NONE will do their DAMN jobs...!!!

We pay Congress $174,000. for ONLY 78 days work out of the entire year, BUT, they also get money from the Unions, and Corp.'s to vote the way those people want, instead of the way WE want....In the monetary form of $14,900. every other month, since the law says they cannot receive $15,000... a perfect (play on the law)....

Since when has Congress started to play FAIR ??? ( ONLY ) since the money hungry (power crazies) enjoy the easiest job they ever had....

In the beginning, Congress served only 2 (TWO) years, and then were in-eligible to serve longer, them it went to 6 (SIX) years, and now, for as long as IDIOTS keep re-electing them...EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS...
NO TERM-LIMITS....!!! NO "RECALL" Petitions...
18 out 0f the 50 States have it....So what are your Legislators waiting for...Simple,... YOUR "DEMANDS"..!!!

NO doubt this country is : "LOST", because of un-educated people, who do not have the time to read upon current items or events, THEY, who have to work to support their families, and therefore ELECT imbeciles to speak for them , and then the ELECTORS get the shaft.... : (Us included) :(

Unless we 'DEMAND' to get our State legislators to vote YES on "Term-Limits" and "RECALL" petitions added into our STATE CONSTITIONS,... So that with a simple 51% majority, (WE can GET THEM OUT)...including State Legislators....!!!

We will never again get any say on : Amnesty, or Gun Control, nothing...We are at their mercy, It is OUR own fault, we blog, and do nothing else...I tried, but not enough persons were interested in this State...A DEMO haven...

What the "Congress-CLOWNS " vote on ... NOT with OUR consent,.. which is what they were "HIRED" to do, .....
WE ARE DOOMED"...

They have made it so they can decide their entitlements, rather than the states they represent, every penny they get, raises base pay should be determined by the voters

Just so. Congress no longer represents the "people" or the "majority", they now represent "themselves" and the "minority". Most of them never had a "real job" in their lives and make a "career" out of politics. They have become the "elite" and even if they start in Congress as honest, hard-working people, they are soon "cured" of those (bad for a politician) qualities by the "senior" people in Congress. It makes no difference if they are senile, mentally ill, or have "lost touch with reality", they stay where they are and continue to make decisions that affect millions of people. Their "retirement" package should coincide with their years of service. They have nothing to lose if they only serve a term or two with regard to what they are entitled to after retirement. They should be required to spend a minimum of 5 days a week in Congress with a 2 week vacation to start. That would at least give them time to [b]read[/] some of the ridiculous bills they pass. As a matter of fact, any "bill" proposed should be required to be read (in it's entirety) by the "proposer" and to all members at the time of it's proposal. These bills should then be promulgated to the public before any vote is taken by Congress. The "5-day" work week would given them ample time to accomplish this.

EVERYTHING should be decided by the VOTERS who "Hired" them....!!!
Every internet site keeps telling you to "CALL" OR "FAX" your DEMANDS OF THEM,
...if YOU DO NOT SHOW THEM your DEMANDS, THEN stop "RE-ELECTING" THEM....!!!

MY FORMER BOSS IS IN Congress AT THIS PRESENT TIME....
If you do not follow those (old timers desires), then nothing you try to present as a Bill, will NOT even get to the floor...
Harry Reid is a very dangerous man, and very EVIL....
To bad the "Money" people in the State of Nevada and the DEMO Party WANT him kept in there....
Nothing will ever get back to NORMAL, without OUSTING those with over 12 years in the Congress, OR those who
are "POWER-MAD" which includes MANY !!!

To be safe, oust all with over 12 years...vote for the "NEW" guy, instead of those "Old-timers"

For the most part I agree with the thoughts of fellow members on this subject. It has been in recent times the hot subject "We may be seeing the end of America" I am retired @ 3/4 of a century, and have developed a talent ? for cartooning. I find that I can say more in one 5X4 hand drawn ( no photoshop) cartoon than a detailed commentary, as they say " a picture is a thousand words" So now when a topic comes up that gets my attention, I go to work of which I enjoy so much as apposed to the exchange of words, as I like things 'short sweet and snappy' Your thoughts?

The $174,000 is less than half of their pay. They get a housing allowance, Cadillac health Insurance, free car, postage, hair cuts, shampoos, shoes shined, a big staff to do all their work, and who knows what else. If they aren't a millionaires when they get to Washington, they will be soon. Lobbyist pay big bucks for votes, all under the table and tax free. Also, they use insider trading , and insider knowledge to make their bed on million dollar bills.

Your right 'Big Eagle', However we have not seen any real action since the Regan years. This clown ( a compliment) Now in the White house is like a race horse with short legs and a long neck. That description sounds like a duck. But this is no duck, but rather a turkey. I know a lot about 'turkeys' as I have sold some in my time. This discussion on 'the end' is most serious. We must keep the pace, as we are on the brink of reality.

I have heard from a reliable source that after 2 years most ALL in Congress are are millionaires....Yet for all of that money on a "cushy" job, they refuse to OBEY our desires since we pay them to adhere to OUR demands,

BUT, alas many Americans don't read, nor Vote, or Vote ONLY name recognition...How Sad....

OR, as in obuttface in the W.H....his charisma, that women suck up and that is why mr. wonderful got elected, along with the help of 30,000 DECEASED people from FLA. plus 112% of the voters in Penn.??????????????? also, in Ohio, a woman voted 6 times for Romney, and each time it came up for obummer, she was seen screaming, leaving the voting booth and the building.... :XD:
This is MORE than sad....It is outright FRAUD....
