I often think about the meaning of intelligence and how it is reflected in habits, and such. I have also wondered how accurate a study is when it is funded and run by an organization and clinicians who are looking for a specific result. Because the complete test and results were not published with this article, I have to question how they selected participants, who controlled the test questions, were pay records checked and so on. All in all, the article did prove one thing as true, and was reflected in said article, that media to include magazines are controlled by self described Liberals. I wonder, because I am on neither side of this argument, if that may have a baring on the article.

To me, intelligence is more than a test score. But, I am of the opinion that all of God's creations are intelligent. Some in one area and others have their specialized intelligence. Again, this is just my humble opinion.

I like how condescending smug faced liberal fascists like to use the very mindset of those who they hate as a barometer for one's intelligence.

Liberals maybe more indoctrinate-er...educated than most conservatives but as more intelligent? Seriously who comes up with this BS anyway? Some Marxist professor who takes down time to write this bull when he ain't jerking off to a picture of Che Guevara?

My experience in working with highly educated people, and people with virtually no education has been that intelligence has absolutely NOTHING to do with education. If anything, "education" as we know it today retards intelligence. Some of the most educated people I have known have been incredibly stupid in real life with real life situations.

I see education as teaching and learning things of importance, but in learning, the intelligent person questions almost everything and accepts NOTHING at face value. IOW, if it sounds silly, in all probability it IS silly. One who learns via brainwashing loses more intelligence every day. He gives away his intelligence by letting others do his thinking for him, the laziest way of gaining an education in this world today. Intelligence is within a person, education is foisted upon a person from outside.

Liberals represent a portion of our population that is best defined as being educated beyond their intelligence.

It should also be remembered that "intellectuals" led the Russian Revolution and gave us the USSR. It was the same so described Germans that gave us the Third Reich. This is the same tactics that A. Hitler used when he started the spin on Jews being inferior and the Aryan race was superior. It is an old game, which I am quite surprised that anyone that is intelligent can not see through. Just propaganda for small minded people that has to think that they are somehow or in someway better than others. After a while, their broad brush will start to encompass others until they are so convinced, because some reporter or article published in their owned media "proves" their position is to rule the ignorant and then it will be the ignorant should not own homes or drive cars, and the ignorant people should not vote. The ignorant are acceptable workers and not managers......One would think that they would find another scheme to be a ruling class. Soon, if the Democrats remain in power, you will begin to see more and more of this type of propaganda. They have already started with the often used quote "the do nothing Congress" blaming the Republican Party for our economic problems, next it will be a movie here and there about the bad Republicans, they may even make the movie about a past president. Then they will move on to rewriting small amounts of history to show themselves as "heroes" and all other political parties as "non-progressive and stuck in the past." I think you get the drift of what the paid "scientific studies" are intended to do.

ginny-agree ! Intelligence is not only broad common knowledge but the ability to learn. Regardless of party, it is well know that many PHDs are so full of themselves and their high academic degree that they lose all perspective and common sense. Look at the current administration which is loaded down with young academics-how are they doing ? Good Luck America !!!

There are some problems with the hypothesis and the conclusions they come to with their study.

It states that blacks on average are more liberal. On average in comparison to whom, whites, asians, native Americans or on average compared to themselves.

The average African Americans IQ score is 85 the average white score is 98.

The hypothesis is that there is a correlation between average IQ and a preponderance towards being more or less liberal. Given we know that the average African American IQ of 85 is less than that of white conservatives at 94 both their hypothisis and their conclusions are wrong.

If they wish to try it again they should start with just African Americans and redo the study and see if higher IQ African Americans are more or less on average conservative or liberal.

I bet they wouldn't publish the results of such a study.

You cannot do any scientic study and get any accurate results without first eliminating or at least controlling all other factors that may effect your results.

This is stinky science and must thrown out with the rest of the dirty diapers.
