And she killed a goat. Probably was tasty.

So you are telling me she couldn't handle a little puppy.. And if she can't, she should of given him away to someone who could...

The dog was untrainable and not worth it. They go bad.

Thank you for making my point much more eloquently than I did.

She did nothing wrong. Killing a dog that is a proven biter or a danger to livestock is common sense.
What she did do wrong was talking about it in a way that makes it easy for critics to come after her.
14 months old is not a puppy.

Sorry, like I said, she lost my vote!! Probably means nothing to most people, but I just can't look into puppy's eyes and shoot him..

Wake up. 14 months old is not a puppy. this was a fogue dog on a killing spree. What do you want to do, wait for it to kill a kid. And I don't mean goat.

It isn't a pup. It was a rogue dog. Dealt with properly.

No. You don't pass on a dog with blood lust and that dog had it. I have been bitten and I know, I was just walking down the sidewalk when the dog reached through the fence and tore my arm up.

You’re right it was not a puppy. No one takes pleasure in putting down a dog but on a farm it sometimes has to be done.

She should have sought the services of a professional dog trainer.

So you give it to a professional dog trainer that works for months when they could be working on trainable dogs, finally gets it trained and two years later it kill a two year old. NO NO NO.

At 14 months you can retrain this pup... No reason to shoot him without trying to retrain him first.

You've never lived on a farm have you?

I was about to ask PR the same thing.
There are good reasons to put an animal down, even young ones.
I've had to do it myself.

And I would guess you took no pleasure in having to do it.
Some of the commenters are very naive to say the least .

Noem said the dog was "worthless on the hunt, untrainable, and dangerous".

FYI PR, animals can be just as worthless, unteachable, and/or dangerous as humans.
