Several people, including myself, have said that to this person. It doesn't do any good for the narcissist, but when other people make the connection that he is one, it makes sense to them. It makes it easier to ignore them!
It's something to keep in mind when considering ignoring someone....they are arrogant AH's who will never change - because they think they are just fine up there in the clouds on their high pedestals.
I do understand, though, that when they get too obnoxious and start bashing people personally - which this person does constantly - it's worth it to come out of ignoring them and support the one being bashed....that's where I cross the "I am going to ignore this jerk" line.

It sounds like you're hearing a lot of things but you're just having a hard time putting it together. I would say not to worry, it takes time to figure all this out but it's not going to happen if you allow your prejudices and emotional outrage to block your understanding.

The top 1% pays 40% of the total income tax.
The 2% to 5% pay 20% of the total income tax.
The bottom 50% pay 3% of the total income tax.
You could belong to the bottom 50% who pay 3% of the total income tax.

Yes but I'm retiring next year I'll be 80 .
We had some really high yields in 22 and 23 and high prices and I had half of my 22 bean crop carried over so selling those plus my 2023 crop and I had paid all my 2024 crop expense and put a chunk of money into my SEP plus carrying over half of my 23 bean and still ended up in the higher bracket .
