I was 23 and stationed in Japan in the Army.

I am not positive on that. I just know I was devastated at work the day I heard of his murder. The 1st attempt they forced him off a cliff in which he lost his leg and was warned to stop talking.in his book he wrote about that attempt. This book has so much information.
